Great hotel and very conveniently located”
Moderate price with good services
The room price is average for 4stars hotel yet the room is much bigger than your competitors. The only setback is your WiFi availability....most hotel provide free wifi in hotel room too.

Great location and decor but small rooms”
good location, nice decor
This hotel has a good location - only minutes walking distance from Las Ramblas, Placa de Catalunya, Casa Batllo, and a 20 minute walk from La Sagrada Familia. It has a very modern decor and friendly (and English speaking) staff though they are a bit casual and relaxed in how quickly they provide service. The first thing we noticed as first time Europe travelers was extremely small elevators. It would be a tight fit holding 4 adults with no bags. The hallways had no air conditioning and the rooms, while well decorated, were a bit smaller than we are accustomed to in the US. It has an approximate 32" LG television though we didn't watch much as only two channels (both news channels) were in English. There were three phones in this small room but not a single clock. The pool was not in use when we saw it and it was rather small but still could be a relaxing option. The fitness area was as expected for a hotel but was also not air conditioned. It was probably in the upper 80s. The restaurant served a breakfast buffet which had extremely limited selections (a few cereals, pastries, fruit, and two deli meats) but cost more than any single meal we had on our 15 day trip at 20E per person. I would avoid this if possible.

Friendly, stylish and luxurious hotel”
Free minibar, ideally located, meters from Passeig de Gracia, good service, excellent gym
very small pool, wifi only in lobby
Convenient rooms, bedding changed daily, modern bathroom, very nice roof terrace, centrally located near Passeig de Gracia. Free minibar is refilled daily, it's ideal! Why can't they make wifi coverage in the rooms as well, not only in the lobby?

Great Location very nice accomodations”
Great Location, nice rooms, free mini-bar, friendly and helpful staff, generosity of front desk; didn't charge for photocopying
No safes in rooms, no feather pillows, unable to cool overheated rooms down without leaving windows open. Difficult to park, narrow ramps and narrow parking stalls. Free internet access in lobby, but no internet terminal in the lobby or elsewhere.
We found the hotel extremely well located for walking to the major sites as well as for finding good dining options. The rooms were large, well appointed and well maintained. We liked the fact that everything in the mini-bar was available for free and that upon request they restocked the beer and diet soft drinks. Would definitely stay there again.

AC Diplomatic Hotel”
Close to The Ramblas
No coffee machine in room; breakfast not included in the price
The hotel was in a perfect location. The doorman was very helpful in giving us directions to Sagrada Familia and what buildings to look out for on the way. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Since we only stayed one night we did not use any of the other facilities and the restaurant was closed so we cannot comment on that

Excellent stay @ AC DIPLOMATIC ”
Location is very convenient for tourists. Hotel is very clean. Service is good. Free drinks from room refrigerator is very nice. Room rate is decent for weekdays.
Not too many TV channels for movies. Prices are high for weekend stay, therefore we did not go back to stay after we came back from San Sebastian.
My daughter and I stayed at AC DIPLOMATIC for 4 nights in Sept 09. The hotel is just one short block from Passeig de Gracia; across the street from Gaudi's Casa Batllo; one block from Gaudi's Casa Mila; one short block from Tourist bus stop; one short block from Metro station; 4 blocks from Plaza Catalunya which is the hub of tourist center and also the start of La Rambla street. It is very nice that AC Diplomatic is not on a busy street as La Rambla but it is at short approximity to most main point of interests. When we booked the room, we requested a room with 2 separate beds. At check in, such room was not available. We were upgraded to a larger room with 2 beds the following day. Since we booked the room with breakfast included, breakfast is excellent. Drinks are free in the room. That is very nice. Room rate is decent for weekdays. However the rate is high for weekends. The pool at the rooftop is tiny but deep.
