This 5-star hotel is located right in the city center and has a postcard view of the Petronas Twin Towers. Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel is a five-minute walk from the world’s tallest twin towers and offers easy access to some of Kuala Lumpur’s most fashionable shopping malls. The Bukit Nanas Monorail station is just a two-minute stroll from the hotel. The luxuriously decorated rooms offer a perfect haven and breathtaking views of the city after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. The East Wing of the Renaissance has stunning views of the pool and certain upgraded rooms have magnificent views of the Petronas Twin Towers, while the West Wing overlooks the striking KL Tower or the outdoor swimming pool located on the fourth floor.

Stayed at this property on a previous visit to KL - Stayed in a Life Style Club Room in the East Wing - Unfortunately there is a lot of renovations happening especially in the East Wing including the Club Lounge meaning you have to use the Club Lounge in the West Wing But you need to stay in the East Wing to get rooms with a view of the Petronas Towers
Overall stay was good”
stayed superior category, room size was affordable with price only with minor defects as such air conditioning not cold. Room service for late lunch and breakfast, food was ok. Great greetings and service from frontline. But importantly great location!
Excellent Hotel with Excellent Club Lounge”
We stayed in newly renovated room in west wings, we booked a room with club lounge access and we really enjoyed the lounge services, meal and drinks, the best club lounge so far that we experienced. Location is strategic, not far away from KLCC and Bukit Bintang, also walking distance to monorail and LRT station. I will definitely rebook this hotel when I am back to KL.
The breakfast buffet is amazing.. nice and clean room..
Value For $$$ For A 5 Star hotel”
We Stayed In Club Deluxe Room(West Wing) & Were Able To Access The Club Lounge During Our Stay.We Loved The Spacious, Cosy & Comfortable Rooms (I've Booked 3 Rooms)& My Husband Loves The Spacious Bathroom.Breakfast Were Awesomely Delicious With Lots Of Varieties In The East Wing Lobby As We've Been Given A Choice To Choose To Have Breakfast In The Club Lounge Or In Temptations Restaurant(East Wing). My Family Loved The Gigantic & Olympic Sized Swimming Pool Too.The Staffs Were Friendly & Helpful Too.Opposite Bukit Nanas Monorail Station(2 Minutes Walk) & 10 Minutes Walk To Petronas Twin Towers & Suria KLCC.Overall,A Very Good Hotel. Will Definitely Come Back Again.Thank You Renaissance.
Keeps up the standards”
I first visited the Renaissance 8 years ago and I am pleased to say that the very favourable impression I received then still holds. It may look slightly faded against some of its newer and brasher rivals but where it matters everything is just right. The rooms are large and put some newer joints to shame. Fixtures, fittings, carpets, bathrooms are not brand new but well maintained and all perform the jobs they are supposed to. The breakfast spread in Temptations is one of the best I have seen in SE Asia. Two stations, monorail and LRT, are withing a few minutes walk and both the KL EcoPark and the KLCC complex of the Twin Towers, the Suria KLCC Mall and the Lakeside Park and Fountains are easily walkable. I would always return to the Renaissance when visiting KL.
Not quite right”
Checked into a room with soaking wet carpet, bad smell from water leakage and super dusty room. Additionally, screws in the wall visible... from a frame perhaps. Had to contact Manager on Duty - unacceprable!!! Would not recommend this property to anyone.
Fantastic Stay freindly professional staff with excellent service”
Highly recommend this hotel nicely appointed rooms stayed in West Wing, Great Buffet Breakfast with good slection, friendly professional staff in every department nothing to much trouble, lovely spacious pool, highly recommend club lounge good selection of drinks and snacks very good city centre hotel freindly professional and excellent value for money highly recommend it
nice 5 star hotel”
overall it is good 5 star hotel, although a bit old, some of the furniture looks aging. But with relative low room rate, it definitely worth the price. Hotel lobby is so beautiful that even shangrila can't compare.
Nice large hotel close to all the action ”
Good hotel close to the action and transport links, for us it was slightly dated having a shower in a bathtub, and top bar closing at 10.45pm. I would recommend it to my parents but not my friends of mid 30s as better cooler hotels in the area
Nice Pool and Gym.... shame about the food”
Loved the pool time and the gym at the hotel. Rooms were clean and the bed soooo comfy. Disappointed in the food though. Ordered at the poolside and the pizza was so bad- it tasted like a frozen base with extra cheese to mask the fact. Left most of it. We were quizzed when we bought food from downstairs deli inside the hotel and brought it to the pool. Not impressed. Overall liked the hotel but the food let’s it down.
Second stay and no disappointment”
Great KL City location, walking distance to Petronas Towers and Eco Forest, also shopping malls etc. Monorail right by hotel to access old city, Chinatown and museums (Museum for Islamic Art is a gem and a must if you are at all interested in history and culture!). Staff are very helpful, anticipating and welcoming at all times (reception, navigators/concierge, restaurant, housekeeping). East Tower rooms could do with a revamp and bedside lamp was broken but all very clean. Fantastic leisure facilities - very big swimming pool, modern looking gym and sauna/steamroom included.
Club room west wing. ”
Room very spacious and clean. Had a good view of KL tower from our side. The staff were very helpful with quick check in and all requests were acted upon. Food in the club lounge was good with good selection. At afternoon tea there were no veggie sandwiches so they made me a plate which was good of them. Only moan would be no normal tea bags??? Everything else but ... on asking I did receive one. Breakfast was also good and quick check out too.
Great hotel with exceptional service !!”
I spent 1 night at the club deluxe category and everything was perfect during my stay. A big thank you and kudos to their Club Lounge staff whom were outstanding and courteous. The only area for improvement is to review buffet breakfast spread to add more international varieties. otherwise I had a fabulous stay with Renaissance
Nice pool, but terrible breakfast spread”
The room was nice and the pool was gigantic. So you dont have to worry about the swimming crowd. But omg the breakfast spread was terrible. They can't even cook proper fried rice or nasi lemak. That's the simplest local menus. So i'f you're planning to stay here, dont waste ur money on breakfast.
Strategically located near KLCC”
Great Hotel, next to Monorail Station and near to many restaurants.
Wonderful view over the Petronas Towers
Every single moment of our time here was a joyous treat. Staff were amazing, with us and our 1 year old son, who was treated like family. Our room was fantastic, with a comfy bed and fabulous view of the Petronas towers. Location was great - a short walk to KLCC, and just a few minutes to both MRT/LRT train stations. Breakfast was incredible- sooo many delicious options! Our son adored the pool and playground, and my husband enjoyed the gym facilities. We have told everyone we know about our experience, and will return in time, for sure!
There are too many ants in the room”
The staffs and room facilities were good. However, on my first day there, I saw so many small bugs and ants on the sink. And the next day, the ants were still there and I also found the ants one of the beds. Even though it didn’t affect much but still not a pleasant creature to see especially in the hotel.
Short Stay @ KL Renaissance ”
I looked for a convenient location as I had business at KL Twin Towers. The hotel was very reasonable priced and within 10 minutes of KLCC and other venues. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive and we got an upgraded room during check-in which was awesome. Very generous breakfast but what surprised me is a size of the Renaissance the breakfast area was rather small and certainly busy all morning. What I enjoyed is the extended breakfast time from 0600-1100, have not seen that before but found it very good. Excellent lounge on the 25th floor with the usual condiments of juices, coffee, ect. Another item is the rooms were very quiet no outside corridor noise was heard. I have one recommendation, get some proper pillow, current pillows are extremely soft and small as a stamp. I'll be back for sure.
