This 5-star hotel is located right in the city center and has a postcard view of the Petronas Twin Towers. Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel is a five-minute walk from the world’s tallest twin towers and offers easy access to some of Kuala Lumpur’s most fashionable shopping malls. The Bukit Nanas Monorail station is just a two-minute stroll from the hotel. The luxuriously decorated rooms offer a perfect haven and breathtaking views of the city after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. The East Wing of the Renaissance has stunning views of the pool and certain upgraded rooms have magnificent views of the Petronas Twin Towers, while the West Wing overlooks the striking KL Tower or the outdoor swimming pool located on the fourth floor.
"Room very spacious and clean."

The stay was nice and comfortable . Very nice staff and attending with smile . ”
The only feed back is the toilet in room 21-01 we stayed , where the water in the floor was collected before the wash basin and could not properly run to the floor trap hole . And we every time walked in our foot will be soaked in water and become wet . If elderly people stay there , it would put them in high risk of fall . Please look in to it and keep the floor easy for the water to run to reach the floor trap hole . Thanks
5-Star Value for Money ”
Hotel is situated about 10 mins walk to KLCC Twin Towers and nearby malls like Avenue K, Robinsons. 5 mins walk to Bukit Nanas Monorail connecting you to the rest of KL happening spots like Bukit Bintang etc. There is another LRT Line 150m further up from Bukit Nanas Station, Dang Wangi (2 stops away from Pasar Seni/Petaling Street). East Wing gives you Twin Towers view and West Wing is facing KL Tower, currently underway renovation. Upgrading work does not bother guests at all. Overall hotel facilities are a little tired and in my opinion required injections. Large swimming pool is catered for both children and adults but the water was a little cloudy during my stay. Breakfast has a good spread from local to western and Indian vegetarian. Extra like its noodles station where you can customize the bowl. My compliments to the frontdesk Ms Nur for her professionalism and smiles, check-in and check-out were a breeze. Return to stay yes and look forward to the new facelift.
This was a staycation hotel for me. I very much enjoyed the club house and would take this option again. Lovely food. Room large, quiet, clean and very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the swimming pool also.
wonderful location ... near klcc, mrt stations, restaurants, music, culture fabulous swimming pool ... the best in kl piano -- near the 2nd floor ballroom ... great place to relax shopping -- petaling street is 3 stops away or a 10 minute taxi ride for great bargains; and klcc for upscale shopping (and much more expensive)
Clean room ”
Breakfast in the restaurant need to be improved. Late Snack or supper provided in the club lounge really need to look into improvement, as you cannot open your door to guests, when there is no FRESH foods and foods left for the guest unless you mentioned DRINK ONLY
Stayed at this property on a previous visit to KL - Stayed in a Life Style Club Room in the East Wing - Unfortunately there is a lot of renovations happening especially in the East Wing including the Club Lounge meaning you have to use the Club Lounge in the West Wing But you need to stay in the East Wing to get rooms with a view of the Petronas Towers
Excellent Hotel with Excellent Club Lounge”
We stayed in newly renovated room in west wings, we booked a room with club lounge access and we really enjoyed the lounge services, meal and drinks, the best club lounge so far that we experienced. Location is strategic, not far away from KLCC and Bukit Bintang, also walking distance to monorail and LRT station. I will definitely rebook this hotel when I am back to KL.
Cockroach in the toilet”
I saw small cockroaches in the toilet every morning and it's really disgusting. Reported to the staff and they said they will do something but I still see it the next morning. Not sure if they are in the room but cannot expect from a 5 star hotel.
Value For $$$ For A 5 Star hotel”
We Stayed In Club Deluxe Room(West Wing) & Were Able To Access The Club Lounge During Our Stay.We Loved The Spacious, Cosy & Comfortable Rooms (I've Booked 3 Rooms)& My Husband Loves The Spacious Bathroom.Breakfast Were Awesomely Delicious With Lots Of Varieties In The East Wing Lobby As We've Been Given A Choice To Choose To Have Breakfast In The Club Lounge Or In Temptations Restaurant(East Wing). My Family Loved The Gigantic & Olympic Sized Swimming Pool Too.The Staffs Were Friendly & Helpful Too.Opposite Bukit Nanas Monorail Station(2 Minutes Walk) & 10 Minutes Walk To Petronas Twin Towers & Suria KLCC.Overall,A Very Good Hotel. Will Definitely Come Back Again.Thank You Renaissance.
Keeps up the standards”
I first visited the Renaissance 8 years ago and I am pleased to say that the very favourable impression I received then still holds. It may look slightly faded against some of its newer and brasher rivals but where it matters everything is just right. The rooms are large and put some newer joints to shame. Fixtures, fittings, carpets, bathrooms are not brand new but well maintained and all perform the jobs they are supposed to. The breakfast spread in Temptations is one of the best I have seen in SE Asia. Two stations, monorail and LRT, are withing a few minutes walk and both the KL EcoPark and the KLCC complex of the Twin Towers, the Suria KLCC Mall and the Lakeside Park and Fountains are easily walkable. I would always return to the Renaissance when visiting KL.
Fantastic Stay freindly professional staff with excellent service”
Highly recommend this hotel nicely appointed rooms stayed in West Wing, Great Buffet Breakfast with good slection, friendly professional staff in every department nothing to much trouble, lovely spacious pool, highly recommend club lounge good selection of drinks and snacks very good city centre hotel freindly professional and excellent value for money highly recommend it
nice 5 star hotel”
overall it is good 5 star hotel, although a bit old, some of the furniture looks aging. But with relative low room rate, it definitely worth the price. Hotel lobby is so beautiful that even shangrila can't compare.
Nice large hotel close to all the action ”
Good hotel close to the action and transport links, for us it was slightly dated having a shower in a bathtub, and top bar closing at 10.45pm. I would recommend it to my parents but not my friends of mid 30s as better cooler hotels in the area
Nice Pool and Gym.... shame about the food”
Loved the pool time and the gym at the hotel. Rooms were clean and the bed soooo comfy. Disappointed in the food though. Ordered at the poolside and the pizza was so bad- it tasted like a frozen base with extra cheese to mask the fact. Left most of it. We were quizzed when we bought food from downstairs deli inside the hotel and brought it to the pool. Not impressed. Overall liked the hotel but the food let’s it down.
Coffee machine in the room can’t use. They got east wing & west wing, too huge hotel until cannot find the room. There is a flat rate RM10 parking charges even the hotel in guest have to pay.But Comfy room, clean.
Good quality hotel for its price”
Very good bed, good breakfast, nice view from the window.
Good hotel ”
nice and clean very posh
Great stay but...”
Huge hotel with great room at the west wing. Unfortunately the hotel is undergoing construction at some parts, therefore you could hear the drilling noise in the day. As a business traveler who was staying for about 6 nights, I had my meals in my room most of the time. The room service menu could be improved - food wasn't as tasty and some dishes were cold (i.e. malay fried rice). Also the hotel isn't as flexible with the menu - I could not ask for anything that isn't on the menu (unlike at other Marriott properties) like bread basket to go with my meal, or a milkshake, and I was willing to pay for it. This is a hotel with many unrealized great potentials.
Great and friendly service topped with good value service ”
We had a great stay from the moment we checked in to when we checked out. The receptionist gave us insight to the facilities, values to the room upgrades etc. walking around the hotel, we were always greeted by the friendly staff which created a homey atmosphere. In terms of facilities, there’s a full fledge gym equipped with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room; a nice sized swimming pool. With our room upgrade we had access to the lounge and enjoyed having a common space we could hang out at apart from being in the room.
Nice but showing signs of age...”
We stayed at Concorde before and decided to pay a bit extra this time for a 5-star stay here. On arrival the lobby is beautiful and the staff are incredibly helpful and professional. We stayed for 7 nights and found the following: - There was a water leak from the ceiling. We called reception who sent maintenance to fix it, they arrived after 30-40 minutes and fixed it - There was a water leak from under the bath whenever we used it - There were ants everywhere - bathroom sink, above the fridge, in the bed etc. - The 'insert card here to turn on electricity' slot by the door was broken, so the electricity stayed on permanently. Not a major issue just meant we had to remember to turn off the lights and TV before going out - The ironing board was broken and could only be used by leaning it on the wall - Air conditioning was weak The rooms (and plumbing!) are certainly showing signs of age, but they are spacious. We prefer Concorde as it's cheaper, newer and equally comfortable.
