So good, I returned ”
I have been to Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough twice now and I would go back in a heart beat again! The location is amazing. The staff are amazing. The food and cocktails are amazing. My only recommendation would be to request a room away from the club near the pool, especially if you are going to relax. The thumping of the music in the club is horrendous, but certainly not the hotels fault. Couldn't feel or hear it on the other side. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to escape and enjoy the views!!
Fantastic views and a wonderful stay”
We arrived at Perth Airport at about 5:30 PM and was hoping we could make it to Scarborough for the sunset. Unfortunately, the evening after-office traffic slowed us down and by the time we got to the Rendezvous Grand Hotel Scarborough it was already dark. But that slight disappointment was lifted after we checked into our room on the 21st level and when we got on the balcony we were greeted with a spectacular view of Scarborough beach and the length of the west coast beach that stretches all the way to the scintillating lights of Fremantle. Even though the sky was dark, we could see the waves of the Indian Ocean rushing up Scarborough beach. With that sight, we knew we were truly having a vacation in Scarborough and Perth. Rendezvous Grand Hotel is a delightful surprise. It is the only skyscraper in Scarborough and its rooms offer views of the area and the ocean. The hotel, it seems, has recently been renovated - a nice, modern update to the property and rooms. When you are staying there, don't forget to go up to the Observation Deck on the 24th level to watch the sunset! We have had a wonderful stay at Scarborough and Rendezvous. And, in the words of the Terminator, "We'll be back!". You guys have a good trip.
Alternative to Perth CBD”
In an effort to avoid the very steep price of Perth CBD hotels, I decided to stay at Scarborough. The Rendezvous room 1611 was large, comfortable and looked south along the beach. The only hotel restaurant I visited was the Dome Café which had great food and a deck overlooking the beach where all the business people sat and negotiated. There was a supermarket across the road with low cost food items. A taxi to the city was round $30 and this cost was more than offset by the savings on accommodation. I would stay here again.
Great hotel, great location, great beach”
I've wanted to visit Perth my entire life and was lucky enough to have four days and three nights there. I was not disappointed. I stayed one night at this hotel and two at another in Fremantle. I really wish I had stayed two nights in Scarborough instead. The beach was perfect - great sand, great waves, not too crowded - and the Rendezvous was the ideal location for enjoying it. The hotel was nice, the room was clean with a great view, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I will literally be dreaming about traveling the 11,500 miles to get back here someday!
Lovely hotel- spaciaous, fresh and new! ”
I stayed at the Rendezvous hotel in Scarborough for 4 nights with my sister. The hotel is perfectly located right by the beach, close to shops and restaurants and is currently undergoing big renovations. We had a brand new room overlooking the pool and beach and it was lovely. It was so big with a king sized bed, heaps of room for luggage, nice big modern bathroom and balcony. It's a little pricy however we figure that's pretty standard throughout this part of WA. I'd stay here again simply because its nice and close to everything- Perth city, Cottesloe, Fremantle etc and its a beautiful thing to be able to come back to such a nice room after a hard days work on the beach!
Flawless from Check-in to check-out”
Booked two nights for my partners birthday. Staff were lovely at checking. Requested a bathroom with glass window view of bedroom. Room as requested + free upgrade to beach front and bottle of champagne for my partners birthday. I tend to use TFE hotels often as their rooms are spacious, Modern and staff go above and beyond. I love staying at The rendezvous hotel in Scarborough even though I live in the area it’s nice to stay in a place That never fails to provide great services and a warm welcome
Could have been better”
I've stayed in Scarborough Beach(Perth) a few times and loved the location. We always wanted to stay at the Rendezvous City Observation Hotel and I thought we were getting a good deal. The brochures said there were shuttles into Freemantle and downtown Perth. We were told they had just stopped running. The brochure said the pool was heated and there was a spa. The spa was broken and not in use and the pool was not heated. The restaurants looked very nice but they were a little too expensive for us. I would stay there again, but not at that price
Best beach front location, close to restaurants ”
Best hotel to stay at in Perth if you want a beachside location. Only a 15 min drive from the city....Scarborough beach is by far the best beach in Perth. We always stay here when coming up from the country and never disappointed. Check in and out always fast and efficient, lovely staff and nothing is a problem. Beds are comfortable, large rooms and lovely clean bathrooms...Big bonus is the underground parking is free if you have your ticket validated at Reception.
Rendezvous Scarborough Beach”
The Rendezvous in Scarborough Beach is an excellent hotel in a great location on the beach front. The rooms are good sized with good sized bathrooms. We had an ocean view room with a great view of the ocean and beach. The room had a balcony too. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast staff. The only down side was the choice of vegetarian food at the dinner buffet, which was quite expensive.
Lovely clean, new and modern hotel.”
my sister and i stayed at the rendezvous hotel in scarbourough for 4 days over new years. it is undergoing major renovations and should be beautiful once it's finished. we stayed in a brand new deluxe king room with an ocean view. it was a huge, spacious and comfortable room with modern fittings, lovely big bathroom, balcony and plenty of storage space for luggage. you could have easily and comfortably fitted another bed in the room. the staff were lovely and extremely helpful, the hotel is in a great location right near the beach and walking distance from shops and restaurants. on site parking was also available for a day and we could go in and out as many times as needed without any extra charge. i'd definitely stay here again. don't be deterred by the price, everywhere in wa is expensive and but i'd rather pay a little extra for a lovely hotel like this.
Great ocean view”
It has a beautiful ocean sea view and it is a short walk away from the beautiful beach. Beside that, there are a supermarket such as Coles just beside the hotel and it a short distance drive to Perth city. The most important is hotel have a good bell man who are Richard, and he is a MOST kind and helpful as I met at Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough. Thanks you Richard.
great room great location”
the hotel is at a good location at a stroll away from the scarborough beach, the best hotel around. the standard room given to us was really big and the biggest toilet i had in perth (i stayed in all 5 stars, so it is at same level comparison). only minus point is old fashioned tv that should be changed to flat screen. bed was also ultra king and very comfy. heard the hotel is recently refurbished. we ate prawns from the k1 bar and it was hopeless!
I stayed only for a couple of nights when I was in Perth for business recently, but it was great accommodation and very friendly staff. I have stayed at Rendezvous Hotels in other cities in Australia and I believe them to be of very high standard at very competitive rates!
Had stayed the 2 nights prior at the four points on Sheraton in Perth and there is no comparison to the rendezvous, this will always the first option each time we return. Enjoyed it very much with the great view, comfortable clean rooms. Good to have breakfast and parking included at such a good rate 👍🏾
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough. Everything went well. Prasanth the hotel concierge was very helpful in providing us with directions and booking our day tour to Rottnest Island. He was very sincere and we appreciate his help.
We enjoyed our stay at rendezvous hotel Perth Scarborough. Good view, easy access to restaurants. Very convenient location.
A great note, shame about the noise”
The newly renovated Rendezvous Grand Hotel in Perth would have come very highly related if I had only stayed 3 days. Unfortunately I stayed another night when the adjoining night club was in action. The noise in the room was unbearable until 1.00am in the morning which if you are coming form the eastern states is too late!
best beach location”
best hotels for kids, lots of entertainment, games room, nice pool and so much to do in scarborough. perfect location! everything just right outside hotel. skate parks, new park, beach and scarborough local pools. lots of restaurants bars and coles across the road. big rooms with nice beach view. Staff was friendly.
Fantastic Hotel, Amazing View but bad service”
The atmosphere of Scarborough was inviting. I and my family stayed here for 6 nights and have to say it an awesome location, the room was spacious & nice, a big balcony overlooking the ocean & crossroads, and everything was clean. In this particular I found it was really windy. I really loved the big walk in shower & the bed was lovely & comfortable. I stayed in club room on the 24th floor which was overlooking the pool & beach. It had a lovely sunny balcony, it had a big Jacuzzi bath which I and my son did make use of. Wi-Fi is free but can be very slow. We couldn't hear any noise from anywhere even though it was the weekend. Make sure you go to the Observation deck at the Hotel located at 24th floor, amazing views and a great way to see Scarborough close to shops, Hotels and the best beach. The beach is 1 minutes away. Its only 30+- mins drive to any scenic or tourist attractions. Within walking distance to the hotel is a supermarket, chemist and a couple of bars and restaurants. Only fall down is the car park-not secured and grubby and grotty. We had a great experience of breakfast and sun downers in the Club Lounge on the top floor. Our meals in the restaurant were excellent. The breakfasts in the Club Lounge were so enjoyable. Special thanks goes to the perfect host. And special thanks to the concierge. A good customer service I would say. These people are very courteous and willing to strike conversation. And especially the front desk staff (guest relation officer). She seriously needed training in customer service. Very bad attitude when we approached her. No smile, no eye contact and not listening to what we want to say. And also to other the rest of front desk staff as if we are not welcoming at the first place. Hotel with an amazing view, and a good location for a beach lover.
Business Traveler - extremely comfortable stay”
Rendezvous Hotel Scarborough was very comfortable, great location, staff and facilities were excellent!
