Very pleasant and homey.”
Size of apt. and huge terrace, sparkling clean, very close to everything I wanted.
This is an unexpected apt. in a newer building just on the edge of 'downtown' Trieste. It's convenient to shopping, transportation many local sights and, of course, dozens of restaurants and bars are a short distance away. To my delight, there was a supermarket less than a block away so I could easily get me breakfast yogurt, coffee, milk, wine, etc. The apartment had everything I needed, including air conditioning. It was airy and spacious with a large terrace accessible from each room and with a view of the hills and city rooftops and a little bit of the sea. There was also wifi, TV, fully equipped little kitchenette and large bathroom. A bar is next door to the Residence (I didn't use), perfect for breakfast coffee and brioche.
If I could change anything, it would be to have a bath instead of the tiny shower I had. Also the parking is about a block or two away and costs I believe 10E a day. I didn't use it and used street parking instead because it's free after 8pm. The fees begin again at 8am but you can pay for an hour or two the night before if you prefer to sleep in.
I would stay there again and recommend it highly, but ask for a high floor if you want a view.
