Amazing view & village feel”
In this room, we felt like staying in a genuine santorini house. It was a small cliffside house with a few rooms quite separate from the reception area, so it didn't feel like a hotel at all. There also was a small stove in the room for cooking. The room feels very spacious yet cozy due to the typical Santorini architecture with a high, arched ceiling. The terrace with the Jacuzzi was amazing at night, since the room and the big terrace were facing the Oia cliffside, including the sunset view. We stayed in winter, so we were able to book this amazing location in the most beautiful part of Oia at a very cheap price. But I would totally come back here in summer and pay more. The service was amazing too, the receptionist was really helpful and friendly all the time. Only downside was the availability of service: Most of the time, the front desk was unoccupied due to the low season. Restaurants and shops in this side of the village were all closed due to low season too, so we had to rent a car and go to Fira every day to find decent restaurants.
what can i say, the best hotel i've ever stayed in”
so we took the buses from the ferry terminal to oia. we went to the information centre for direction, but was instead advised that our hotel booking is waiting for us and that someone will help us with our luggage :) wow! i could not stop omg-ing when i arrived at the hotel and was given a tour from the reception area to our room by elena (1 of the 2 very nice staff). honestly, santorini is an amazing island, and by staying at this hotel,it's just giving you the most of santorini. we had a room right by the ocean (separated by the bush and walls, but nothing else), with our own sunbeds, and chairs and a table on our balcony, overlooking the whitewashed buildings and the aegean. when the room door was opened, my jaw just dropped, literally. amazing. it was a self contained studio with mini kitchen and connected lounge area to the bedroom. breakfast area is just unbelievably beautiful. the girls are just the most welcoming, the most hospitable. thank you so much!! no swimming pool, but they do have 2 jacuzzis. it's simply the best.
We stayed at residence suites from 1 Dec - 5th December. Can't explain how beautiful the view is. Everything was wonderful. One thing to mention is that you can't find the place on your own Oia has no street signs, best is to book the hotel transfer. Our photographer who was a local had hard time to find us for the photo-shoot. You can also check in from Tourism Information center at Oia main bus stop. The hotel is near to lots of restaurant, super stores, bars , bakeries and sunset viewing points, although in winter not many places were open. We loved our stay at this place and will definitely book it anytime we are staying at Oia.
I stayed in room 118 and I got to say that it's got the best views ever. You could wake up in the morning and just enjoy the picturesque views watching the sunrise, and the accommodation is just a walk away from the castle hill where you could get a 360 view of breathtaking lookout. The room is clean and what I'd hope for if you're into the experience of living in a cave house. If you want to go to Fira (also highly recommended to walk down the mountain and take the cable car back up), make sure you check on the bus schedule in advance to avoid prolonged waiting. Oia is nice and quiet if you want a place to slow down your pace and enjoy what true Santorini can bring. 5 stars to the overall experience. Ideal for couples got sure. Cheers, Marvin.
Spectacular hotel, and what a deal!”
You will not find a better hotel for the money. It is situated in one of the best parts of Oia, the most spectacular part of Santorini. The price makes it seem too good to be true, but believe it, this is a gem! The staff are the icing on the cake, which made our stay of 4 days turn into almost two weeks!
we found that end of October was a good time to travel in Santorini with only small crowds in Oia. The residence was great, they let us store our luggage in their office before our check in and after we've already checked out. We had help carrying our luggage to and from the Tourist Information Office to the actual accommodation. Don't expect internet to work inside the rooms, it only worked outside (at the balcony) for us. The TV didn't work and wasn't replaced until the day before we left, although this wasn't so much a big deal for us. We thought we could watch the sunset from our outdoor spa, but the accomodation is actually facing the other direction, it was still a nice view but not what we expected. We highly enjoyed the spa and the honeymoon suite we were in was stylish and clean.
My room has very nice view”
I'm happy to choose Residence Suites, I got what I want. Great view from my room, have nice balcony . Drink wine or coffee in balcony with spectacular view is priceless. This is real Oia view, you can see the caldera. The service very good, helpfull and friendly. I highly recomended this hotel, one of best value hotel.
Awesome view except for the palm tree :/”
You really cant go too wrong staying in OIa. It is a bit confusing though, as it was not really an hotel in the sense that one is use to. It is more like clumps of rooms on a hill, and some rooms a bit distant from other clumps on a hill that has some of the best views ever. We were able to check in for the room in the tourist office at the main bus stop in OIa. The then sent someone to escort us to out hotel reception area, and then our room.
SUPERB AND BEAUTIFUL PLACE”
The room was amazing. The room, toilet and bathroom were clean. Bed sheet, pillows and towels are clean. The view was great. You can have you morning sun and spend you time looking at the view outside the room as it facing the sea. There are a lot of stairs so you need to watch your step. When I arrived in Oia, the person from the tourist centre in front of the bus station welcome me and arranged the registration and they will carry you bag and bring you to your room. Though the weather was cold because of winter the view is amazing.I would suggest people to come here in other season than winter so you can have more time outside as it's not cold like winter.
Great Sea & Caldera View, Romantic, Comfortable”
It is very romantic to stay at the 2-storey cave studio with Sea and Caldera view. Strongly recommended for honeymoon couples. You can have coffee or wines at the balcony with fantastic sea & caldera view. Very relax and enjoying. We love the wooden ladder that leads to the bedroom upstairs. It is very special and cant find in other hotel room. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel has the airport transfer service. You need to contact the hotel before reaching Santorini. The airport transfer when departing from Santorini can be arranged with the hotel during your stay. Cost around EUR 30 / Trip. You can walk around the Ioa area. There are a lot of restaurants and shops here. Very convenient. If you want to go to Fira, there is a local bus service at Ioa Central Square.
The private hot tub is awesome”
Check in counter is right next to OIA bus stop, and it will be in service till 9pm daily, pls be reminded to inform hotel staff your arrival time in advance. Hotel staff is very friendly. Esp when i was looking for place to print out my boarding pass, they helped to print right away without charge. Highly appreciated! Hotel is located near the main street, a bit noisy and lack of privacy as guests who booked downstairs will pass thru your apartment for entry which is a bit strange.
helpful staff, caldera seaview, cove house”
staff very attentive and helpful, specially Ms Goregi warm reception with always sincere smile and Mr Madalin very powerful to help carry luggage up and down and thankful carry luggage to our car. thanks ;) from car park to room need walk up and down to the hill quite tired but you will forger the tired because the room welcome you with amazing caldera seaview and blue churches of oia can see from the room balcony ;) i like the cove room design, nice and warm ;)
Gorgeous location and great room”
Our stay was amazing. The room has a small patio and great views of the ocean and caldera (our favorite part!) The room is large, with a comfy bed, sink, fridge, wifi enabled and air conditioning. The porter is vital in helping to get you from the Bus station to your room, with he windy roads in Oia. You will not see the sunset from the rooms, but it is a very short walk to amazing views. We were able to see amazing morning sun views. Absolutely would recommend.
This room is well located near the centre of Oia. Staff are helpful and meet you at the entrance to the pedestrian part of the town to carry you bags to the accommodation. It is quite steep but so is everything here. A nice common area with a point pool and spa. The view is lovely but does not get the sought after sunset, however, the sunrise is equally spectacular.
Amazing View in Oia”
Location is good, just 1 min walk to castle, amazing view for honeymoon suite, Jacuzzi is a bit dirty hence we didn't utilize it much, not easy to find the reception and the traffic condition is bad in Oia.
The price pays the view and the amenities like hot and cold jacuzzi. The room is not so great, just a bed (very comfortable), sink, and bathroom (tiny). The breakfast is very good. It is a good place with great personel service, they even carry your bags to your room. It is worth staying if you look for a fantastic view from the jacuzzi and solarium, right in the heart of Oia.
The staffs are friendly and easy communication when check in. And they help to carry the luggage walk down to the unit. The location was AWESOME which near a blue dome in Oia. We stay for 2 nights. The room was small and not very good at sound insulation. But they have a sharing balcony and small pool at common area. Overall experience is consider good. 😄
Excellent location, Excellent view”
it was a wonderful stay, the room was very good especially the bed was very comfortable! the view was excellent and the location, Even it is near the busy shopping area in Oia but it was keep private and we weren't disturb by passers by.
Best place to be”
The room I was in has a great view of Oia. Location is perfect. It’s close to the sunset area. The room itself is nice and clean. Apart from the difficulty of checking in, I think this place is perfect for me
Great location and views in Oia for the rate. The room is very basic, bed and a bathroom, but we spent the days exploring the sites so it was perfect for us. The view of the caldera was breathtaking!!
