Not new, but great service for a reasonable price”
For a reasonable price you will get a clean hotel room with good sized sleeping room and an also good sized bathroom. The hotel itself and the rooms are maybe a little bit outdated, but the beds are still comfortable and the hotel and the rooms are definitely clean. Parking is easy for a 5 euro extra charge in a car park just across the street. Free wifi is working very well. But the best two points are the staff members and the central location! The staff members are so friendly and helpful, they try to do everything possible for their guests! It starts by an excellent and detailed routing on a map at arrival time and goes on by an accommodating service at breakfast and the provision of umbrellas in case of rain. And the location... - you can walk to the city centre in about 20 minutes easily or take a bus (bus station is just in front of the hotel).

Great stay!”
Cleanliness, Staff, Location for buses
Loved this little spot! Stayed here for 3 nights. It was great value for the money! Staff were incredibly helpful in directing us to the sights of Porto and explaining which buses to use. Thank you Agostino & Joao!!

Good Guide to Porto”
The owner's itinerary and route.
We had one day in Porto and the owner provided us with a map and route for our day, making it possible to see and do more of what makes Porto special.

Nice, helpful and friendly hotel owner”
Tons of useful advice from the hotel
The hotel owner is a very nice guy who will explain everything to you about Porto and other tourist spots clearly once you arrive the hotel. He will give you a map marked with notes. Also, he will welcome you with a small bottle of 18-year Port wine. It's worth a try. The honey you will have at breakfast is worth a try. The honey is from his family. And there is a small garden on the 1st floor. In the garden, there are some pear trees. You will try them when you have breakfast.

Quaint B&B in Porto”
Interesting building and decor, clean rooms, reasonably priced, personal service.
the hotel is a bit far from the major sights. however, walking to the centre is manageable and takes you through interesting streets. bus and metro are nearby. the hotel has been converted from a private house and the interior is interesting, with many old paintings and antique furniture. we stayed at the hotel just before easter when the weather was rather cold. there was heating in the room and bathroom, but the adjoining corridor and common areas were a bit on the chilly side. breakfast was nice and adquate, and the staff were courteous and friendly.

A great little hotel with very hospitable service.”
Very cozy and welcoming.
I loved just about every aspect of my stay here. The owner was extremely welcoming. When I checked in, he had a map of Porto all ready for me. He even made his own notes on it, and included a couple of the major bus routes. He also offered me a bottle of his own port. My room was quaint (reminiscent of a Bread & Breakfast type of room) with updated bathrooms. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Servicio excelente”
