    Sprawling property, with spacious rooms, serene, large swimming pool, most of the rooms have balcony, awesome buffet with wide range of food, prime location (located between Baga Beach and Calangute beach). I wish to stay again.

    Great Hospitality”
    The Resort is good and have a luxurious feel to it. The swimming pools (yes there are more then 1) are well kept. There is one very large one, which we enjoyed a lot. Rooms are done up nicely, with second wing being a little more modern. But first wing have much nicer view. We stayed in a pool facing room overlooking green mountains. Superb. Breakfast was good and Spa was awesome. The only downside could be presence of rowdy guests that are there as part of corporate tours. We had a one such group that made breakfast experience a little not so 5*. Sorry no offence. We managed t hat by being a little early for our breakfast :) Overall a grate stay, our second. Will come back for more Thanks Resort Rio team.

    A holiday that I want to forget. Highly unprofessional and non-cooperative staff. A list of house rules that aren't told to you at the time of booking. In a place like Goa you are not allowed to carry your own liquor or food into the property, irrespective you drink or dine within your room. I would never recommend anyone to stay here and for sure would not be returning to this property the next time I visit Goa.

    Nice resort”
    I was there only for a night... so couldn't really use the facilities of the hotel. Check in nearly at midnight, the check in was smooth and quick, luggage was delivered within 10 min of our arrival in the room. We had booked luxury room which was quiet big and spacious for 2 person ( me and my daughter) and it was in same building as the lobby so the coffee shop was not far. Could see the pool from coffee shop. Had breakfast in the hotel, which was ok !! nothing great but nothing to complain about mostly indian dishes. Over all it was ok !! WIFI goes on n off... Location approx 1+hr from Goa Airport...but i think its one of the good resort if anyone wishes to stay in North Goa.

    This is a 6 or 7 Star Hotel”
    Without a doubt this resort hotel needs more stars. Every single aspect of our stay was first class. We stayed for Christmas and had such a memorable time at the gala dinner where the buffets were a work of art and the entertainment was great. The pool and spa were sublime. Dining was a treat especially in Jalsa and should not be missed. Shuttles to and from the beach and shops was a real value add. The staff were fantastic and ever helpful. I have no criticism at all of hotel. It is fabulous!

    We booked the almost 3 months before. As we were travelling in group so we bookee 4 executive delux rooms.... On arival the rooms they offered us were nowhere close to the rooms that they have shown on agoda as well as on there website. And the staff was soo rude that we cannot do anything about it you need to talk Agoda only. Later i got to know that the rooms shown on the website are no more available, as yhey have buit new small rooms in place of those.. This is a fraud what these guys yo so please be cautions before booking the room

    Rooms were very well maintained..huge sized. Swimming pool and spa were very nice wth a pool side bar..and the staff was very friendly. Helped us in figuring out our places to visit, the routes nd cab
    It was one of the best for us. Would love to visit again. Just that the road leading upto resort rio was a bit worry some esp in the night time wen we wre driving a Scotty bt overall loved the place. I have recommended it to few people already

    Clean, Spacious room, Friendly staff
    We stayed for 3D/2N and was a comfortable stay. Buffet breakfast was very delicious with wide variety of choices but very expensive. Have a very large pool. Rooms are comfortable and very spacious.Overall the hotel is good and would recommend.

    Quiet surroundings but not far from Tito's Lane!”
    Clean, good service, nice pool, excellent gym and spa
    The hotel environment was very calm and relaxing. The facilities were of a high standard, especially the spa which offers a range of massages at good prices. The rooms were clean and have nice bathrooms in addition to a spacious balcony. One negative aspect would be that we had to pay extra to use the steam room and the prices of the hotel food and drinks were a little excessive compared to places around Baga beach itself. Overall, the hotel was definitely value for money and especially good for couples.

    WE HAD BEEN THERE FOR NEW YEAR 2019 WE WERE NOT INFORMED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING THAT GALA DINNER IS COMPULSORY FOR WHICH WE WERE CHARGED 57000 ETC AT THE TIME OF CHECKING WHICH WAS NOT AT ALL MENTIONED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING ... THEY SAID IT IS MENTIONED IN TERMS AND CONDITIONS SOMEREWHERE IN THOSE TINY LITTLE WORDS ... WE WERE CHEATED MORE OVER OUR ORIGINAL PLANS FOR 31ST WERE DISTURBED AND THE PARTY WAS SO SO SO HORRIBLE IT WAS NOT EVEN WORTH OF RS. 3000. JUST HOPELESS. MOREOVER THEY MADE US STAY IN DER OTHER PROPERTY WHICH IS NEARBY NOT THE RESORT ... OVERALL GUYS DONT GO FOR IT ... ITS JUST TERRIBLE ...

    Worst customer service. and fraud”
    Hotel charged $200 per person for the new yrs eve gala and said it was mandatory to pay those charges prior to check in. this was not mentioned during the reservation. They only listed the price and event and said these are to be collected during check in. I thought this is optional as no mandatory requirement was written. When I complained the hotel staff referred us to talk to Agoda where I reserved the booking. There were unprofessional and ignored our request and had security come to other guests as they were angry as well. we were left with no option. Also We were not the only one. Every guest who checked in had the same exact issue. After paying the ridiculous $200 per person charge we went to the room and there was a 3-4 in cockroach running around in the shower and bathroom. I have video proof. So we went down and asked them for a different room which they honored. The second room was fine. I cant say there was no pest but at least we did not see one. NEVER AGAIN.!!!

    Fradulent property, they have arm twisted us to pay 16,000/- more on the name Gala Dinner which was not mentioned at the time of booking. Even we paid for the stay in advance they didn't even allow us to check-in till we paid for the Gala dinner(By the way the Gala Dinner was a such a drab). The property looks great from exteriors, the rooms are aged with furniture and accessories in broken condition, you can see Rats running around and food sucks. Customer Service: Forget you will even get one.

    Terrible. Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel. ”
    1) The rooms were dirty, the phone did not work, the toilet had pee when we first arrived! 2) The mattress, supposed to be a king size, was actually two mattresses put together! You could feel the huge gap in between! 3) "Christmas Eve Gala Dinner" or any similar you find about is a total scam. Despite of looking like an optional choice you can make, it is mandatory! It is a completely dishonest strategy they are using to take your money (for us it was +50% of what we paid): you book your room as in any other place but hidden is the cost of the diner which you will have to pay in there. If you don't pay them they will not give you your room keys. The Manager in charge was completely unprofessional and rude and did not behave as a 5-Star Hotel person in charge. We were not the only ones, but at the same moment there were 3 different families having exactly the same issue, despite of our claims the arrogant hotel manager did not granted any of our requests which were fair. Prisoners!

    Stayed there for 2 nights. We had a good room with a view, but a certain tap in the bathroom was broken. The room in which we stayed looked a bit old compared to what we saw in the pictures while booking. Hot water was working 24/7 which is a plus.

    Unprofessionaliam and careless staff ”
    I’m regular traveler and using Agoda last 7 years to book my accommodation .this time my stay at resort rio was extremely unpleasant, unprofessional staff with rude attitude, hotel rooms are very dirty and water dropping down from walls , Celing , floor really moist and mold. Even my laundry was return half moist and not properly done. One morning I was sick and having bad headache and nausea was not feeling well I requested breakfast in room with fruits and oats only and they said no we don’t serve in room. Room with full of mosquitos every time I have request them to spray with mosquitoes killer . We saw there was few rats on corridor. Finally on check out time they said we don’t accept Amex . Each corner of world except Amex services . My kindly request to all guest looking holidays in goa please be careful about hotels please only book international brand hotels and basically if you book resort rio you will regret and disappoint.

The property is not at all value for money as they have no proper in room facilities such as: 1) they have NO green tea sachets or tea bags to choose from, just English breakfast tea bag take it or leave. 2) at the reception we were given a rules and regulations form which had negative words written like- outside food or beverages if found will be confusticated (taken in hotels custody till the guest stays). 3) the hotel has mostly groups from corporate who do the booking. In such case the hotel shifts the breakfast venue without intimating and there’s a limited spread with very bad variety kept for the other guests. The menu is horrible and by no means this chef has simple Understanding of difference between Khakra and Thepla. On 21st May’18 the hotel provided theplas (as per hotel) but they were so hard to bite and it was impossible to chew them. 4) the pool had no washroom facility. There was one bad shower near the bar area of poo
