We like staying at Equarius and will come back.”
Itwas a pleasant stay with Equarius hotel. The room that they gave us was huge and spacious with a large L-shaped sofa and bathroom. They have TV installed in the room itself and also in the bathroom. The balcony is also big and safe for little children. The room has an amazing view, swimming pool and the Singapore Cable Car which operated until 10 pm. In front of the lobby, we can hop on to the shuttle bus that took us to all the hotels under Resort World Sentosa management which connected us to main attractions in the area. The swimming pool is nice and easily accessible with big cabanas around it. The aurroundings of the hotel is quiet, calm and relaxing. The smell of the lobby and corridors are very nice, they put aromatherapy candle everywhere. The breakfas is very nice with many options to choose. It was a good decision to stay at this hotel.
The best hotel rooms you will find on Sentosa Island, with great city views over looking the marine park. Hotel staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. Our six yr old became unwell, and they immediately transported us by golf buggy to the Resorts World medical centre only a few minutes away. Staying at Equarius allows you all the benefits of the other Resort World Hotels, which are fantastic as well. Construction is almost complete, they were just finishing during our stay, so my advice is book it while the price is still low. It is an easy 3 - 5 min walk to the festive hotel (if you don't want to wait for the shuttle that comes every 15mins) where you can access all of the sentosa attractions easily. We will definitely return next year.
Comfortable and relaxing”
My stay at the Resorts World Sentosa - Equarius Hotel was perfect! I really enjoyed my stay a lot even if it is only for a night. I would stay longer if I had the chance. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Check in was a little slow but that is fine for me as there are sofas and couches at the lobby. I had 2 rooms, both adjacent to each other on the 7th floor. Our rooms faced the forest, which was ok for me. The green trees were really pretty and feel very relaxing looking at them. The room was really spacious with a large comfortable bed, sofa and a huge bathroom. i love the concept of the bathroom. I will definitely come back for a stay with my family again in future.
Most wonderful birthday staycation”
We do staycations quite regularly with our agent Travel Delight, usually at Festive / Hard Rock / Michael in Resorts World Sentosa as they are the nearest to Universal Studios Singapore. However this time, as a birthday surprise, we decided to try something new, and it was great! Equarius Hotel is also relatively near to Universal Studios Singapore and SEA Aquarium, and I liked most that there's a balcony and bathtub.
Luxurious, spacious and comfortably relaxed”
It differs from other hotels in Sentosa, in a positive way, because of it's quiet and relaxed atmosphere. There is transport to all sorts of entertainment at Sentosa, and the staff are friendly and eager to help the tourists out. The in-room facilities were a great surprise, varying from the TWG teabags to the iHome smartphone stand. The room was luxurious and the restroom was humungous. As a fact, the restroom might as well have been the highlight of the hotel. It consisted of two spacious stalls, one for showering and the other for the toilet, two sinks, a make up table and a bathtub with a small television in sight, which was located beside the make up table. There is also a curtain, for there is a piece of glass between the room and the restroom, which is controlled by a switch. Moving on to the room, there was plenty space to move around and it was well equipped. There was a sofa, a king-sized bed and a small table below the television. A balconey was also included in the family room, offering an amazing view of Sentosa. Overall, the Equarius Hotel is an ideal place for a family to stay at when travelling at Sentosa and I certainly think their five star is well deserved.
Very relax, rejuvenating and fantastic package”
The hotel amenities, room, it's toilet(5 star) are gorgeous. Every hour of our stay, we enjoy the comfort of our room (Believe me it really feel lazy if not for the many activities we are pampered with by SENTOSA & RESORT WORLD SENTOSA. But the staff need to improve on their services and knowledge-day in day out of their hotel and the surrounding. Give precise, accurate direction and advice. Be natural - that is, to be themselves, otherwise or at time my perception of them are arrogant or lack of confidence. We enjoy the fine dinning and unique dishes by celebrity chef Sam Leong's restaurant "Forest", together with the wonderful / relax / rejuvenating spa & massage, very relaxing & rejuvenating. The surrounding attraction - the biggest sea aquarium in the world, universal studios, sound of the sea, fort siloso, surrender chamber (southern defense during WWII), maritime museum, tracking, beautiful beaches and many many more fun & sight. All these places are accessible via the combination or stand alone free monorail ride, free shuttle bus within RWS premises and a brisk or bliss walking should be able to access to every corner of Sentosa. My only regret is our stay is too short and my family is yearning to return soon for a longer stay to - EAT, SLEEP, RELAX, RECHARGE & LAZE AROUND and BACK TO PLAY PLAY PLAY.....
Beyond my expectation”
I travereled with my wife and my children. We stayed at equarius hotel and we were extremely happy and satisfied. All the employee are very very helpfull and friendly. Since its our first time in sentosa resort, we had to ask the checkin front desk for assistan, and i can' expect any better, she was so helpfull and willing to explain patienly about all the features and facilty in the resort. And yet, she offers us at anytime always to come and ask them if we need more information. The gentelmen at the enterance door are also very kind and helpfull. They help us with our kids strolers everytime we got in and out the shuttle bus and always with great smile. They are really work with heart. Over all , we are 110 % satisfied, would defenitely come back and can't choose any better hotel except equarius cause until now my kids keep saying how good equarius is.
Awesome value for money staycation! ”
Original plan was to stay for 2 nights however husband and I loved the hotel so much that we extended another night. Pros: 1) Deluxe room was huge with balcony facing Adventure Cove. 2) Room was spick and span. 3) Bathroom was huge with squeaky clean bathtub. 4) Love the fact that they do not have bottled water in the room but instead provided each room with 2 glass bottles. The water can be topped up at the dispenser near the lift lobby. Kudos to providing the dispensers at every floor! 5) Water dispenser also dispense ice - another feature we loved! 6) Pool (shared with beach villas) is huge and water was clean with not too much chlorine. 7) Everyone at front desk offered superb service. 8) We were celebrating our 12th years anniversary and were surprised with a jar cake. 9) Bed and pillows were really comfortable. 10) Air con was working well 11) Shared free gym is at Hard Rock Hotel however there is a gym near the Beach Villas (chargeable at $9 per 24 hours). This gym is well equipped and machines are well maintained. 12) Surrounding vicinity is superb (very serene and peaceful). Not too crowded and noisy like other RWS hotels. 13) Accessible to other parts of RWS via a free shuttle service, available every 10 to 15 minutes. 14) Hotel installed air cleaners in the lobby. 15) Complimentary parking and Sentosa express given throughout your stay. Cons: 1) Since room has balcony, should provide clothes hanging rack to dry our wet clothes after swimming. 2) Housekeeping was not very attentive. Did not top up shower gel when bottle was clearly empty. Did not even arrange our shoes / bedroom slippers left in the middle of the room, unlike most hotels we have been to. 3) English TV channels were pretty limited and volume limit was set too low. We could not even hear some channels when seated at the sofa. 4) All modern hotels should include bidet in the toilet. We will definitely be back for more staycations at Equarius Hotel.
A wonderfully convenient hotel for Adventure Cove and Resorts World Sentosa”
Booking our stay at Equarius was a treat - we were able to make the most of our stay at Resorts World Sentosa. The room service food was mediocre but the overall exprience was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we retreated to the hotel from Adventure Cove, even after check-out, there were facilities to shower and get cleaned up. We found the hotel very peaceful. The size of the room was luxurious and our 5 year old loved it too.
Large clean room with comfortable bed”
Our stay at Equarius Hotel was one that will be remembered; blissfully. The room was spacious, so was the bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and lived up to the standard. The check-in and check-out was smooth and fast. Pool is awesome and hardly had anybody swimming in it, so basically we had the whole pool to ourselves most of the time. The balcony was a perfect spot to have an evening tea and relax while overlooking Adventure Cove Waterpark. Being one of the 4 hotels in Resorts World Sentosa, its definitely near to places of leisure, casino, fine dining and theme parks.
We stayed at this hotel for our Wedding anniversary in May 2016 and a week later, we came back with the children to share what we’ve experience. Following that, till the end of 2016, We’ve gone for another 23 more Stay cations in Singapore, all 4 Star & above. After each Stay cation, my Wife & Children will give their opinion & the Equarius always came up as the best they have been to partially because so far, this hotel has the Biggest and Well Furnished Deluxe Rooms that they have stayed in. The Toilet has Good Quality toiletries and the Design is Sophisticated and Spacious that it makes you feel like a rich person. How I wished I had this in my own home ( Probably Sleep in it - LOL!!! ). The Pen – (Haha!!!), never seen such Good Quality in any hotel before, ( Just Like a Mont Blanc ) and the best part is that its in a Deluxe room. This is the only hotel that we ordered Room Service because the food price is almost the equivalent to eating in the restaurant. ( The Food Trolley when fully open [ Wala!!! ] becomes a Table ). Don’t know what the other hotels offer – Haha!!! Sorry, Not much Experience on Dining in (LOL)!!! We love the Swinging pool but we had to walk out of the hotel to get to it and it’s more of a Resort style and beats the rectangular stereotype ones you can find in almost every hotel in Singapore. When we were checking in, someone came out from the front desk to usher us to the next available station and honestly, majority of the hotels we've been to, the front desk staff never leave their station & you will find people giving you that look (Hey!!! I came here first ). While checking in, the front desk manager ( Hana ), heard my wife mention that it is our 25th Wedding anniversary & she initiated to upgrade our room to a Suite and personally escorted us to the Suite & later send up a Complementary Bottle of Wine to add to our Celebration. ( I secretly copied her name from her name tag - We were speechless, & Very Very Happy ). A
The staff worth for the money spent”
No. 1 is always staff and service. You may find them cool and not often smiling, but it's just too low level if you merely look for someone smile to you. They are experienced, and truly want to help you, making you a home-staying feel. In fact I think the overall Singaporean is like that, cool but actually warm inside. Tune yourself then enjoy it. Hardware...I was upgraded to a room with terrace that big enough to play football with my son. The room is quite spacious that a 42" TV seems too small or you need a telescope. Toilet is unnecessarily big. There is a pool but seems only VIP can use. Doesn't matter, you can go to the swimming playground at Hard Rock having a mini beach. Not much dining outlet at hotel but hundreds at the resort world, some of them in fair cost. Guest there are normally in middle class or above. You won't see noisy PRC group. I saw some government officials stayed there too. Staff speak in English and don't expect mandarin even they look like Chinese. It locates at far end of resort world, enjoying the quiet but just 1 stop away from the casino and U Studio. Actually the whole resort world is quite relaxing and fit for all ages. You won't aware it is actually a casino, given that you have visitors Macau. Going out of sentosa is other place is easy by taxi ($20) and MRT but don't forget to bring your Sentosa pass to save the island entrance fee (MRT or taxi). All in all it's a good hotel, worth for USD300.
Excellent place for romantic getaway”
It is only value for money if you take on the AGODA deals. Certainly not if you book direct from the hotel at the full room price. Location is good provided you drive or get a taxi in. Or else, it'll be a long walk in from public transport.. The rest of the facilities are great. However the communications aspect to hotel guests can be improved. The hotel has a daily exclusive "meet-the-dolphins" session in a private pool at a very attractive discounted price compared to the cost at SEA Aquarium. However this promotion was not communicated to hotel guests and the information was not readily available in the lobby or in the rooms. The room does not even have the standard file to guests to inform them of amenities, operation hours and the check-in and check-out timings. All we had in the room were 2 info booklets - one for room service dining, and the other for the spa services. I only happen to know about the exclusive dolphin promotion on the day of check-out when I explored the back of the hotel. Basically in this hotel, if you don't ask, they don't tell. In addition, the AGODA shows that the rooms come with wifi, and it is not stated that we have to pay for wifi. When I checked in, I was informed that wifi was not complimentary because I booked through a 3rd party (AGODA). Also the hotels in Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) operated on a concept that you cannot call the hotel directly. Guests call a central operator and the staff will answer all your enquiries. I was informed by this central operator that check-in was at 3pm and check-out at 1pm, and that we can get free carpark with complimentary capark ticket. However I was informed that check-out is 11am, and also I am given only 1 carpark ticket for 1 night's stay. Which means if I drive out on my first night to other parts of Sentosa or to visit friends in the city, I would either have to pay the parking charges or use up my complimentary ticket. It will mean that when I have to pay for subsequent parking when I
A Very Good Hotel in Sentosa Area”
It was nice to stay in Equarius hotel, it's located in Sentosa island, beautiful and peaceful, room size is quite big, facilities are with high quality, nearby the resorts world and sentosa island, recommanded for couple and family to stay. There are also lots of restaurants in Vivo city which takes 5 mins by train.
Just right for family”
My first time staying in Sentosa and it was a very good experience despite the haze . Equarius was definitely a great choice if you're traveling with family. The bedroom and bathroom are huge. My kids loved the bathtub so much. They bathed while watching cartoons on the bathroom's TV. The bed can easily fit 2 adults and 1 child. The leather sofa can also be used as an extra bed for a young child if you like. Breakfast was not special but it was OK if you're staying only for 3 days like I did. We didn't get to swim in the hotel's swimming pool since it's only for guests who stayed in the ground floor. But we could use the swimming pool at the Beach Villa at the back of the hotel, round 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Shuttle service was on time and fun for the kids, and if there's something unusual that's keeping the shuttle service from operating, there's always a buggy to bring you around. From Equarius you can go to Hotel Michael/Crockfords Tower to get to restaurants. Took us less than 3 minutes to get there. Equarius was a perfect choice for my family.
A very great and joyful stay ”
We stayed at the Equarius for a night. We are very impressed with the size of the room, the cleanliness and the quiet surrounding. However it is pretty far to walk to the Resort World Sentosa/USS area and we have to rely on the shuttle service operated by the resort. If you are travelling with an infant or toddlers, i would highly recommend you to stay at the Festive Hotel instead.
Awesome Awesome. Huge Bathroom!”
My stay at Equarius Hotel was awesome. The no fuss check-in took no more than 10 minutes. The hotel layout wasn't the best and it took me awhile to reach the room. However, when i opened the door to see the room, i was pleasantly pleased with it. The huge interior welcomes you in a homely manner. The warm welcome is extended when you turn on the TV and it displays your name, giving a little more of that personalised touch. I was thoroughly impressed by the bathroom; it has 2 sinks, 2 separated cubicles as well as a bath tub. The king sized bed was very comfortable as well as i knocked out after a tough day at the casino. The swimming pool is 2 to 3 minutes walk away from the hotel and it is very comfortable over there, although i must say the pool is a little bit too shallow for my liking. I don't know if this sounds weird, but the pool has little to non-noticeable chlorine smell, meaning you are unlikely to smell like chlorine after a swim. Location wise, this isn't the best located hotel in Sentosa as it requires a ~15 mins walk to the main building where the casino/shopping areas/universal studios/other attractions are. Alternatively, you can choose to take the shuttle bus which operates on a 30 minutes basis.
A wonderful staycation and holiday experiece”
My friends and I were unable to leave the country for a getaway and we chose to stay at Equarius for our mini staycation. The entire experience felt like a was really out of Singapore because even though the hotel was amidst many other hotels like Hard Rock, Festive, Hotel Michael, however because it was tucked at a corner, we were able to enjoy a peaceful and serene stay without much noise. Not to worry about food choices as there is a shuttle bus that provides transport around Resorts World. The way the hotel is maintained is also fantastic and we enjoyed the massive bathroom and comfortable bed. Truly a wonderful experience.
Wowed by the view ”
We were given a complimentary upgrade to the deluxe suite at check in which was just the best treatment ever. I guess we were just lucky to be given an upgrade instead of just getting a deluxe room. Which is also very pretty minus the living room and bar area. The hotel is very grand and has many long corridors. However check in might take some time as the crowd comes in at 3pm. We arrived slightly earlier to avoid long queues. Perhaps the hotel may have more counters or establish online checking in where guests may fill in all information and they just need to be verified before receiving their room. This has got to be one of the grandest hotels in Sentosa and the atmosphere is just splendid. Suite might be a tad too big for couples, a deluxe is fine. But for a bachelorette party the suite does wonders. Thank you Equarius Hotel for the most memorable stay!
I have tried all 4 hotels within the Sentosa Resorts with the company Benefit. Equarius Hotel is the best hotel among the 4 hotels. compared to the other 3 hotels, this one is a bit far away from the Resort, but is the quietest hotel. I have spend 3 days and 2 nights there, and my family enjoyed the time there a lot and then we decided to extend our stay there for another 2 days. We like the swim pool there and less traffic, the only thing i don't like is the water in the swimming pools, too senstive to my eyes.
