Resort M - MRT Huai Khwang
Ratchada,Bangkok - View on map
"Location was great, as I was looking to stay at quiet environment, away from the hustle and bustle of central Bangkok. Staff were friendly and obliging. Transport to other parts of Bangkok is not a problem, as there is a free shuttle service in a golf buggy Hwai Khwang, the nearest MRT station. Convenience stores, a mini hawker centre, and a quaint coffee house are nearby for convenience supplies. Only time was, the glass sliding doors did not offer much privacy, except for the curtains covering them. Highly recommended for solo travelling."

Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort (SHA Certified)
Bangkok Riverside,Bangkok - View on map
"After checking out dozens of options for 5 star hotels in Bangkok decided that the Marriot at Thonburi was the best option. We were not disappointed as the rooms, facilities and grounds were a delight to our family. We have 19 yr old twins and a 13 yr old so we felt relaxed and welcome at all times. In house restaurants exhorbitantly priced. Poolside not as expensive, but you can always eat out. Thoroughly recommended if you want to stay outside the melee of downtown areas. At first we were put into rooms facing the freeway but after approaching the front desk were able to be moved to face the garden area which also had views of the river. This was an unexpected bonus without having to pay more. Don`t hesitate to book at the Marriott Resort and Spa as this really made our stay in Bangkok . It`s worth the expense if you can afford it...much cheaper to book through Agoda."

Resort M Bangkok - BTS Onnut
Sukhumvit,Bangkok - View on map
"It is near the Onnut BTS station and as the pictures shows, that it has a swimming pool and it is really beautiful to take videos. But not that big. During our stayed, it happened to be the birthday of a best friends of mine. So one among them and I went to the cake store to bought a birthday cake for him. It was a rainy night, and it just happened. Another best friends of mine injured her leg because of the hole at the one side of the bank of the swimming pool. It was bleeding so such. So that she couldn't get into the pool and had to be really carefully when she take showers. I don't know if the owner of this hotel has fix the hole but I hope nobody will get hurt anymore."

Maleewana Hotel & Resort
Thonburi,Bangkok - View on map
"I had a great experience staying at the hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic, the staff was more than helpful, they made sure the taxi drivers knew where I wanted to go, they even drew a map with directions in Thai. The location was not the best but the hotel and staff was much more than I expected. I would recomend this place to anyone who wants a great room and service who doesn't need to be in the center of tourist activities. Two big thumbs up."

The Villa 71 Resort
Ratchada,Bangkok - View on map
"I like the design and space of the room. It's good for 2 person. Bathroom and bed is great. But you need a taxi or your car to reach the hotel because it's quite far from main road. The only thing you may not like is some couple will make some, easy to listen noise, next to your room."

Friends House Resort
Don Mueang International Airport,Bangkok - View on map
"We stayed before and the bathroom had not been cleaned, we stayed this time and we could not find fault with the room we had. Cleaned thoroughly and smelling fresh, complimentary water, coffee sachets and kettle to make at your leisure. We paid for a standard room but got a free upgrade, which prity much had a sofa and wardrobe. But the bathroom had been tiled more nicely. The only thing missing was a fridge to keep your drinks or snacks cool. Aircon we had to leave running for a couple of hours before it got cool, my guess is that it hadn't been used for a while but no issue. From the main road 7/11 within a 100m in either direction and a few thai restaurants with cheap food and decent quality. Don muang airport is less than 10 minutes drive away also. Great for a stop over the night before a flight or for a couple days if visitting friends nearby."

Dinsomon Hotel
Khaosan,Bangkok - View on map
"As expected, my son and I's arrival to Bangkok was brutal. Let me just put it out there...I hate Bangkok! After arriving at the bus station, we taxied on down to Khao Son in search of Dinsomon. The cab driver could not find it (of course). After getting dropped off at Khao Son Road, we stumbled about in a haze, trying to find free WiFi to track down our hotel. No luck. We continued hauling our backpacks around a 5 block radius, hitting up every 7-11 with the address, and asking anyone we could find. We even found "Dinso Road". No luck. We were exhausted and hoped we could find it the following day since we were tired and it was late, and we settled into an expensive place on Khao San Road. Don't worry...the story gets better... The next day our search began early. I discovered that Dinsomon Hotel is on Dinso Road, but on the other side of Democracy Monument. A combination of clueless locals and my inability to use my brain properly delayed our check-in. Now to the good stuff. Upon arriving, the staff was EXTREMELY friendly. There were no issues getting us into our room. This boutique hotel was very clean, very intimate, and felt like a little oasis from the chaos of Khao San. My favorite part of the stay was the pool. It's a small pool but, again, very intimate and tucked away from the chaos. It was a great feeling after having lugged our stuff all over Khao San. The breakfast was also very good. If you would like to experience Khao San, but not live in it...this is THE place. I can't recommend it highly enough for the professional and kind staff, and cleanliness. I only wish I had found them a day sooner! "
