We arrived fairly late at 630pm, after visiting the vineyards in Margaret river. The reception was friendly and had upgraded us from a studio to a 2-bedroom. The rooms were very clean, spacious and very comfortable. Beds had electric blankets and we had very good sleep on them. The rooms are equipped with cooking pots and utensils, so you can cook here. However, you w...

Pullman Bunker Bay Resort is located on a stunning beach, tucked away in a natural bush land setting. Easy access to all the Dunsborough / Margaret River region has to offer. Restaurant really good, great breakfast and well appointed rooms. Looking forward to visiting again.

We're pleasantly surprised by the environment of the resort hotel. It's a real resort with beautiful garden, several indoor and outdoor pools, gym, tennis court etc. The room is nice and spacious and we also had a balcony. It's also next to the beach. It's about 7km to the CBD of Busselton but we don't mind at all since it's quiet and relax here and also closer to Marg...

If you are visiting around Margaret River region, I highly recommend this resort. I stayed in the 5-bedroom villa which faces the sea and has a heated private pool. The villa has two living rooms, one on each of the two floors. The second floor has a larger living room which my family utilised for the three nights' stay. There's plenty of bathrooms for my party of 7 ad...

My family are very pleased with the design of the villa. The facilities are well-equipped with a garage, kitchenette, washer and even a bbq pit at the balcony. The indian ocean view from our living room balcony is awesome. The resort is also very close to the beach (within walking distance) and the vineyards located at Caves Road. It is a good place to unwind. Only dow...

Stayed for 2 nights at Eight Willows when we were in Margaret River region. Central location for us to drive to Dunsborough and Margaret river wine valley within 30 mins. 15 mins to Margaret river town. Lots of fantastic place to eat there and beautiful coast line to visit. I had the 2 bedroom unit which was huge and very well kept. Plenty of space to cook dinner and ...

Our stay was amazing. The villa we stayed in was fantastic and the rooms were spectacular. All having corner spas in them. The only downside was the resort spa that we went to first for a pamper package. I wouldn't recommend going to that spa at all. My friends were cut during manicures and pedicures and the workmanship was shonky. The manager/owner booked 5 girls in k...

Lovely resort conveniently located on the outskirts of the Margaret river area. Studio room as well as the resort were very well equipped, suitable for both individuals and families. The room facillities include microwave, toaster, kettle, small fridge and also comes with spa bath. I can't comment on restaurant food quality as we didn't eat there.

this place is just beautiful. perfect location to just getaway. you could spend the whole time not leaving the estate but it is in a great location if you do want to explore the beautiful margaret river wine region. staff service was like no other we've encountered in our travels. it was like staying at somebody's home for hospitality and friendliness yet all the priva...

We secured our accommodation with the Comfort Inn Busselton at the last minute when most other options had gone, but it turned out to be a great decision as the place was well maintained, the grounds looked fresh, the room was clean and didn't look worn out as had other places we had stayed in previously. Though breakfast is not provided at the accommodation, it was n...

This was our first visit to Australia but definitely we all agree that our stay at Amalfi was the right choice. Our younger son enjoyed collecting sea shells at the beach. We even enjoyed the beautiful stars at night. Convenient to both Bunbury and Margaret River.

Hotel has ample parking space and the parking lots are very near to the resort. So it's easy for you to load and unload your luggages from the car and the room. Check in was swift and staff were very friendly. Room was a bit dated. Read the previous reviews that the carpet were stained and dirty so we decided to walk around with our slippers all the time. No issue wi...

We really enjoyed our stay at Broadwater Beach Resort, there is everything you need for a fun and enjoyable family holiday. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. It was a little tired but that did not impact on our enjoyment. Fancy in all the right places! Has to be one of the best places I've stayed. The staff are excellent with a genuine sense of hospitality. While we didn't use the full communal kitchen and dining area it would be great to meeting other guest as well as visit with a large group. The rooms are spacious, simple but modern. What I loved most is everything smelt clean and fr...

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Losari Retreat, in a Botanica Spa Villa this July, with our 3 month old daughter. The facilities are absolutely amazing with every detail thought of, from the heated flooring in the bathroom, beautiful eco fire, coffee machine with pods to the fully appointed state of the art kitchen. The weather was wet and windy, which...

Traveler impressions of Margaret River Wine Region
Great place to visit, especially for nature lover. We had a great drive in the countryside. Really enjoy walking in the forest parks.
Rent a car so you can take a leisurely drive along the coastline. The beaches are beautiful, uncrowded, and unspoiled.
I love the Betteney's Margaret River Nougat Company. The nougat and nougat liquor drinks are really nice and awesome.
Go to the wineries which provide amazing view. Don't forget to try the lavender ice cream which is very unique
Our highlights were 1. The Leeuwin Lighthouse tour in Augusta 2. The Gloucester Tree climb and others nearby.
Lots of nice wineries there. Choose one or two most famous wineries to visit and taste a variety of wine.
It's more advisable to stay nearer to the wineries. Advisable for those who are interested to go winery visiting.
Margaret River is one of the best places in Australia. There are lots to do even if you are not interested in wine.
Beaches are beautiful and pristine, fishing is fantastic, caves are definitely worth checking out and eco resorts provide truly unique accommodation and experiences

Great food, and great wine. Mid level spending (so not dirt cheap but still relatively cheap). Be prepared to go on the walks and tours - they are spectacular.
A great place to relax and enjoy the simple life outside the city. Very friendly people. Good food and wine, of course.
They have really biult up a region with interesting winerys and brewerys. Each one has it's own character.
Redgate beach is one of the best around and a visit to the wineries particulary the Watershed winery.
Many classy wineries and restaurants, although the wines are on the expensive side. The attractions are spread over a wide area, so there is quite a lot of driving required to see it all.
Nice region to visit for the food and wine experience. Food in the wineries are not exactly cheap but is a must-try experience!
We stay in the animals farm during our visit in Margaret river. We get to feed all types of animals. We even witness the birth of a piglet.

The Margaret River region is very picturesque, with beautiful beaches and fantastic breweries and wineries.
The best wineries that we went to were: Leeuwin / Voyager / Vasse Felix and Fraser Gallop. Out of which, Fraser Gallop was a private boutique vineyard and we had lunch in the middle of the wine storage ie; next to the barrels.
This area actually is one large vineyard. i was amazed by the numerous vineyard that entertain tourist and have wine tasting activities.

The Dunsborough Motel was exactly what we wanted. It was affordable accomodation and located at the start of the Margaret River region in the heart of Dunsborough. The room was clean and spacious. We had a dining table and microwave and fridge in our room. It was nothing fancy but we were surprised at some negative reviews. For the rate per night it was top notch.

We revisited Caves House after 28 years and were charmed back then. But now it has undergone an enormous renovation which is sympathetic to its heritage listing. There are fewer rooms now and I think we had the best room (Room 1 - keep it a secret) - it had a lounge, bedroom with King Size bed and an amazing ensuite with a spa bath which overlooked the magnificent gard...

Stay was excellence. Its less than 10mins drive to Bussleton City Center and famous Jetty. 40 mins to Margaret River, Augusta and Cape Naturaliste Lighthouses (Depending on traffic). The resort is fully equipped and huge space for our brother (who is on wheelchair) to move around easily. Most of all, this resort has the most friendliest staff we met. We had a late check...

We booked one of the nicer rooms at the back with the view of the forest, and it was beautiful. Woke up to the scenic beauty of the karri trees, my friends went out for a walk in the early morning and enjoyed themselves, and the room was in such close vicinity to the main town. It was on the same road, in fact! Breakfast was meh. I liked that they had local produce lik...

Easy check-in and check-out. Good location as Red Rooster is just next door. Rooms are always cleaned. Right in front of highway yet by 6pm, highway is not busy. Very accessible to Dunsborough and Margaret River, and the iconic Busselton Jetty is less than 10 minutes away

Dirk and Pam are wonderful and welcoming hosts who have created a lovely place to rest and relax while exploring the Margaret River area. A lovely break in a beautiful place. It is situated in the perfect location to explore Margaret River and staff are really helpful in directing you to the best spots. A really cosy and comfortable chalet with great views. Couldn't have been better!

Arrived late and was a little difficult to find as there was no lights along the road. Once we were in, we were warmly welcomed by the lady owner. Rooms are good, cosy and we had a little backyard where we can relax and watch the stars. Location was good, 10min drive to the left to town square and turn right to most of the wineries and other farms. Owners were absolute...

This is one of our favourite places to stay in the beautiful Margaret River Wine area. It is a short walk to dozens of food and craft shops, and the centre of the picturesque forests of South Western Australia. Staff are friendly and helpful, and it is great value for money.

keith and jane ensured that our short stay in margaret river was filled with things to do. they booked restaurants , made sure we knew what was possible (for example when we arrived they advised us to get down to prevelly point to see the sun go dwon over the indian ocean), we also hired the rolls- royce and that made for a splendid trip around the wineries breakfa...

Very nice setting with homely feel, beautiful garden layout, lots of common areas for guests, free wifi and most of all, very good service, friendly & helpful owner (not to mention good complimentary breakfast). Location is excellent, just a short distance to Busselton Jetty, food outlets on Queen St and other nearby amenities. A good place as a base to explore the Mar...

We arrived not sure of what to expect from a bushland retreat but we need not have been concerned! Our cottage number 6 excelled our expectations and was self contained with great facilities, even a gas fired bbq on the porch. The open plan sitting / kitchen / diner was spacious and there was a welcome package of Margaret river wine, cereals, milk, orange juice and bre...

Nothing to fault!!! We enjoyed everything from the moment we arrived. Walked straight in with the gas fireplace already going & straight to the fully stocked wine fridge. It was the perfect welcome on a chilly afternoon. The breakfast supplies provided were amazing & anything else that you would want were just a two minute walk.... cafés, restaurants, grocery store. An...

The room facillities include microwave, toaster, kettle, small fridge and also comes with spa bath. I can't comment on restaurant food quality as we didn't eat there.

Perfect location just outside of town, beautiful grounds and a lovely hotel room. We stayed in a Queen room which I'm sure was the smallest room but it was so tastefully decorated that it didn't matter. It had a terrace outside which was a great sun trap. My only slightly negative comment would be regarding the breakfast, there are some fantastic places to eat breakfas...
