Best hotels & accommodations in Pai

Beautiful hotel, located at the best spot in pai. The stuff was amazing, very kind, took care of everything we needed especially May, one of the girls at the desk. The only two problems were the smell in the room because the rooms are made of woods and it’s raining season, and the frogs outside the room made a lot of noise at night. The price was a little expensive co...

You can't fault this beautiful new art hotel in Pai that sets you back to the swinging 20s of the last century. Location and ambiance are wonderful, rooms and bathrooms are finely decorated with great comfort, salt water pools are big, and the restaurant is a great treat with fabulous food. Overall attention to detail is almost overwhelming. Staff is very service minde...

We booked this hotel because there are not many 4/5 stars hotels in Pai. We were very surprised of the warmth welcome and the beautifull surroundings of the hotel with his very nice pool. The centre is only 5 min walk so you have no noise of Pai center. You can use a bike for free. The rooms are very cosey and clean. Fresh fruit every day in the room. Next time i will ...

29-30 Aug 2014 I'm Thai. I spend 2 days 1 night at The Oia Pai Resort & Spa. It's rainy season in Pai. Fresh air Hospitality, Service mind, Warm welcome. Big and clean room. I love their breakfast (ABF, rice, soup, salad, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, juice and many bread) They has free kayak, bicycle and shuttle bus to walking street. This is the best hotel in Pai ...

I really loved the room. I booked the deluxe villa; it seemed to be worth the upgrade. As far as I know, the deluxe villas have the better view toward the mountains, which can be enjoyed from the large front terrace in the morning (or on a beautiful moonlit night). The bed was centered in the middle of the room as you come in, and behind the concrete divide was his and...

PuriPai is my new favourite hotel in Pai. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful views over the valley. The pool area is great. I sat by the pool for a day sampling cocktails - amongst the nicest I've tasted in Thailand. The staff were exceptional. Very welcoming and friendly. Wifi worked well in my room and outside by the pool. The one downside to PuriPai is t...

i never imagine pai have a very great resort like this ~ very nice staff~ very big and clean room~ everything is n detail and make me suppose such as the phone and outdoor jacuzzi ~ especially provide red rose for honey mooner to making surprise~ even the hotel is luxury than other hotel in pai~ but u also can feel the life style in pai~ also i like the borrow dvd serv...

This is the best value for money in Pai for what you get. We have stayed in the other four star hotels in Pai and the Montis is far superior. All huge Executive size rooms including the lowest price ones. The service here is five star. Great amenities and shuttle service to the short distance to town centre all day long. Exceptional grounds and views alone well worth a...

Literally the best place I ever stayed, it is so much better than it looks on the picture. This hotel has three hotsprings in their own garden, which are not on the agoda pictures so it was a very nice surprise when we arrived. We even had an outside bathtub at our own bungalow which in the evening was filled with hotspring water by the staff, so we look at the stars i...

I never think too much when looking for hotel in Pai, Mari Pai Resort is my only choice and I glad that I made the right choice. We stay in the mobile room, the bed is huge! It is not small at all. They serve great breakfast , but their food serve during lunch time is just so so. I will definitely recommend Mari Pai to my friends and family!

From beginning to end: we loved it here. The staff made us feel very welcome from the start, helped us out when possible and the location is just perfect (you’ll walk into town straight away). If you want to rent a scooter to explore around Pai, just ask at the reception and they’ll get you a scooter right there! Room was nice, as well as the laundry service they offer...

We had been traveling thru Thailand for a month by the time we got to the Kuad Khon Thoe Pai Cottages and I was absolutely road weary and over it. Within 4 hours of settling in I was completely refreshed and relaxed. The cottages are lovely. Both the rustic ones and the newer ones are very comfortable. The pool is lovely and has a very fun water slide and a pag...

It is hard to get a taxi, or car in the middle of Pai. Hotel have free pick up service almost any time, any where. The boss is nice, and we got free up-grade for the room. It is about 10mins walk from the hotel to the walking street, but if you, there is free bicycle and free pick up. Room is nice, wifi is good.

The room was pleasant and clean and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was a good size. We loved the location overlooking the river, it was very pleasant to eat, drink and chill in the lounge/restaurant area. I thought it was a little expensive compared to other hotels in Pai but the location and staff made it feel worth it.

All was amazing, rooms are unique big and clean with AC. Our room had a private back terrace where you could hear all the noise of the nature during the night. One of the best staff hotels that I ever deal with (I traveled a lot in my life). They are willing to help always and they have a line chat where they reply immediately for any request. We used it to book our b...

I think it`s one of the best in Pai. It`s directly on the main street and the live music and a good restaurant is near by the hotel. The staff is very friendly, but everyone in Pai is very friendly. For us, Pai was the best place in Thailand! We booked the Pai Vimaan with discount and paid just 20 euro`s a night for a realy good room, good service and a very good and b...

Second time stay in this hotel, me and Eak(owner)already became friend. the location is good, very quite.if you can not ride motor, Eak will pick/deliver you to the center, the room is clean, breakfast made by Eak's wife and its fantastic. i think the big.different between here and other hotel in pai is the staff is open their heart to you, they treat you like family ...

Booked this hotel because it is featured often in influencer's vlog. Turns out, the hotel was great. There is free shuttle bus to pai night market. There is a huge garden and farm and swimming pool for you to chill. In pai, it will be recommended you have your vehicle to explore the sights and sceneries.

The staff is amazing - very friendly with advice and a free shuttle in and out of town. The property is beautiful. Rooms are wonderful and a really nice pool. We rented motorbikes in Pai for the majority of our stay. Best breakfast over our 2.5 week stay in Thailand.

First off, you'll need a motorbike if you plan on staying here. Not terribly far from downtown Pai but enough to where you'll need your own transportation. Accommodations were massive! You basically get a stand alone studio apartment to yourself. They're not the most modern places (probably built 15-20 years ago) but you're in Pai...The photos are very accurate. Kitche...

This beautiful vintage type of hotel is located only 1 km. away from Pai city where the shuttle car service can be provided any time we wanted. The hotel also provided free of charge Bicycle. There are plenty of flowers and locations provided for taking photo e.g. windmill, postbox, vintage decoration, etc. Big swimming pool is also available for hotel guests & oth...

Stayed 3 nights here in January 2017. Really nice rooms which are all private bungalows. Room was very clean, had a huge private bathroom and a little porch in front to hang out and have a beer or two. Hotel grounds were quite beautiful and well maintained. A very peaceful spot just outside the city center. Our only slight issue was that the hot water was rather temp...

very nice place, good service, great receptionist - would come book again if coming back to Pai. Definitely the best place we have stayed on our Thailand trip. This was our second hotel in Pai, from the first one we were running after first night.. Thumbs up!

ABSOLUTE BLISS is the only way to describe this place. The setting is perfect. It is based near the bridge 15 minutes before you get into Pai. If you have transport which I imagine you will... it is in perfect view of the sunset and the owner switches the lights off for an hour to view the stars at night. Talking about the owner/chef he is an amazing person. You dont ...

Despite being out of the way the hotel provides a free taxi service to get you into pai for some cheeky beers...... Will even provide a guiding hand when the girlfriend over does it and struggles to navigate the steps into the treehouse. The whole place is set in some lovely gardens and provides the sounds of the jungle as a relaxing backdrop at night. The rooms were ...

We LOVED staying here at Pai Loess and would happily stay here again if we were back in Pai. The rooms are simple but clean, with working air con and a balcony with a hammock. Tam, the owner, is such a wonderful delight of a human. The free breakfast is basic but fine. The view and the location are amazing and so peaceful. PLUS, once we asked Tam to recommend a massage...

House of Love Hotel Pai is in a beautiful spot, just a short walk from the town of Pai. The grounds are gorgeous, the place is very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed being a little outside of Pai. It’s just a lot more peaceful. AND, the customer service here is friendly and efficient. They even sent us some things we accidentally left there, which is definitely ...

I booked two nights here because it was hot and I wanted to swim in a pool. It was a little farther from town than I thought but Pai is so small that it's about a 15 minutes' walk to the center of "downtown." I rented a bike and it became less than 5 minutes. I was very happy with the accommodations and enjoyed the green space. I was here during low season so it was ve...

Me and my girlfriend stayed a two nights at the Pura Vida Pai resort, initially had only planned to stay one night. It's a very beautiful resort with clean and comfortable rooms at really good value for money for Pai. The location is a bit out of town but no problems if you have your own transport. The owners are so friendly and helpful and really make the effort to...

The hotel provides free pickup service, whenever you called them, no matter you were just arrived the bus station, or you went to hang out in the night. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always asked me if I had breakfast or dinner and told me they had food. The decorations of the rooms are very cute, and they are famous as 'pink small houses', many tourists com...

We stayed in the cheap room and it was nice :) bathroom is open from the top and it's cold during winter there. We get extra blankets :) location is not like shown on agoda, it bit further so you need motorbike to go to town or you can ask staff to drop you if someone is there. The view is amazing and people around are nice :) they don't speak english but that's ok :P ...

Lovely! Perfect staff, actually owner. They gave us free upgrade and also offer the coffee/tea in the morning. Actually a cup o coffee wont cost a lot of money, but their attitude and help, really leave a good impression to me. They also help us to provide the infromation about the attraction in Pai, very helful. Moreover, I love Momo, a friendly husky and guarantee w...

This basic bungalow resort really shined! The owner was very friendly and helped us make the most of our 4-day stay in Pai. He picked us up when we arrived in town, and advised us to rent a scooter to really get the most of the area. The resort is on a quiet, wooded hillside overlooking the valley and town, with views of the stars at night. About a 20-minute trek to to...

had such an amazing stay in Pai. I was only supposed to stay at SuanDoi for 3 nights then head back to Chiang Mai but decided to stay an extra 2 days. I stayed in the double twin bed because I wanted privacy and A/C, beds were very comfortable. definitely inexpensive for what you get! This place is perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of town as i...

Stayed here for 3 nights. In a bungalow with a double bed and a fan with a shared bathroom. Bath room and shower was a 30 second walk away from our room both clean. The whole place it’s self was in a lovely location. Rooms where very basic but is all that is needed and good value for money. The staff were all very welcoming especially Jerome who made our trip that muc...

My stay at Circus was quite alright. The room I booked (with aircon) apparently didn't even exist, but this turned out to be Agoda's fault, not the hostel's. The pool was nice but not very special since it was relatively small and smelly. There was a party vibe yet not in a bothering way; I met the nicest people. They offer free dinner: you get a small portion of Pad T...

Location was smack-on, just a stone's throw away from the town centre - Walking Street, Pai Bus Station, White Buddha, etc. Super friendly staffs who were never lack of their sweet smiles and very courteous. The room was cosy and spacious. More importantly, the room was kept very tidy and clean. TV was from the olden days, but not a big issue. We booked the room withou...

Very quiet place to stay. The bungalow make me feel very private , and also my own rooftop that I can enjoy star and sun all day all night. I can stay in the hotel all day! Stuffs there very nice. They always smile and want to help me when I have trob. The hotel doesn't far from walking street, the hotel also have a van to send us everywhere at Pai. I definitely go ...

The hotel is set about 5-7 minutes outside of town by car/motorbike. In fact renting a motorbike is essential if you stay here, but you really should get one if you visit Pai to make the most of your time. The hotel rents motorbikes for 150THB per day with helmet with no hassles. No need to leave your passport, and no scams. Rent full of Petrol and return full. It is N...

this resort is about a ten-minute drive by motorbike outside of pai, so it isn't the easiest to get to, unless you're planning on renting a motorbike anyway (super cheap in pai). or you can take a motorbike taxi to get there. however, the resort has beautiful surroundings, as it is located right by the river and is surrounded by a nice, lush garden. the bungalows are s...

Odour Pai is the most perfect little place to stay. Everything from the moment we got there was amazing. The drive there was beautiful, out of the town just 3 or 4 minutes on a bike. The views are incredible, it’s so peaceful and one of he best places to see sunset in Pai. Our cabin was so clean, bed was big and comfy, WiFi was excellent, shower was warm, I could go on...

It is a really lovely house in Pai, although it is a little bit remote and not that easy to find, if you don't rent a motorbike. I was the only one who lived there, and that was quiet. The owner is not really good at English but she's one of the most attractive points of the restore, she's nice and helpful, providing exceptional hospitality.

In my opinion, the best place to stay in Pai for those who want to be close to town but not right in town on top of all of the tourists. Not too many young backpackers so it's very quiet. Not an overpriced flashy resort so it's pleasant and affordable. It's a little sanctuary and the staff are so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a budget backpacker place or...

this hotel is about 5 minute scooter ride into town. close to everything but far enough at night to avoid the noise the rooms here were very clean, mini fridge in rooms, sitting area (cottage) big bathroom breakfast cooked on demand and included in price (was ok) security card to enter the hotel premises makes it safe the manager was extremely helpful with info, rides ...

We loved this hotel! Super nice staff, the hotel is a mini oasis close to main road! The room was big with a superb view of the mountains of pai, wifi worked excellent & very good air con! The only thing is the pillow being to tall, but that's a very personal thing, someone might love it! While in pai try pai country, really good place to eat! But there's tons of place...

We are three American graduate students who came to Pai for three nights and loved the hotel. When checking in, the owner noticed we were tired from the ride up and suggested we go directly to the room to sleep and deal with the paperwork later. The next morning the staff extended breakfast for us and served it outdoors overlooking the valley and city. Finally, when we...

we find the resort on Agoda and we book an extra offer, breakfast included. The resort is located just after the memorial bridge, on the Chiang Mai Road, so you just drive by when you come to Pai by minibus. you can ask you driver for a drop at the bridge!!!It’s only 8 km from the center, the hotel provide free shuttle every hour during the day until late (fees after 8...

Our stay at Tewdoi Garden resort was in a strategic location with quiet and scenic environment. But it was hard to locate the resort as the front entrance doesn't have Tewdoi Garden signboard. The hotel should upgrade to brighter colour room as the chalet with dark wooden colour makes the room looks abit spooky and uncomfortable. Breakfast should have more varieties of...

wish i could have stayed longer here! it was very quiet, but near to the main town of Pai (walking street, restaurants, etc). there was coffee/kettle in the room, nice to enjoy on the little porch outside of the room. very nice owner. would definitely stay here again

We stayed 3 nights in bamboohat for 42eur So you can't expect luxury, there is swimming pool, looks nice It has good location, outside center so it's quiet and peace full, you'll need a motorbike, They offer transfer from and to center Of course you'll find ants in bathroom, but I think it's normal in Thailand;) And of course you'll need a anti mosquito in the ...

Traveler impressions of Pai
Great little laid back Mountain town. Be prepared to relax compared to other tourist spots in Thailand.
A beautiful small town. Best travelling around by motorbike! You can rent motorbike at the walking street for a very decent price! Food is delicious and cheap! People in this town are very nice and kind.
Nice place to visit during cool weather, also easy for backpacker the road might quiet dangerous so travel with caution.
Very nice chilled out town with lots to do and see. Beautiful landscapes and scenery to be seen. Definitely recommend renting a scooter for the day.
Nice and quiet area, with some nice sightseeing in the area. There is a street market every night, if you enjoy some street shopping.
It's a great Hideaway, very good weather!! there are many places to visit around Pai but have to drive through the long crooked roads but very very impressive!!
Nice whether, 27 degree celsius. Peaceful place. Things was cheaper than Bangkok especially message & food.
I love Pai, truely amazing and cosy place, Great nature, kind locals, beautiful nature, a lot of activities, very delicious food.
Pai has a small night market every night at the Pai city area, it's worth to walk and find some good food there if you're up for street food.
Many shops and coffee shops, nice restaurants, also have night market, very lovely and beautiful place !!
Cold and cool environment, that different in Chiang Mai town. The road to pai are very slope and curve need to be very careful
We only managed to stay one night and the night we stay is raining so the night market is close early, spend two night is perfect for this location, but my mates can stay for a weeks.
Pai in love in everywhere in Pai, this is romantic city with coffee shop name "Coffee in love" - nice place to visit, there is a old bridge near a village named "memorial bridge" and Pai canyon place need to visit
This is most definitely a tourist town in Thailand and definitely has a "hippy" vibe. The Thai food is terrible, however the western food was great so if your looking for a break from asian food this is probably the best spot in all of Thailand.
Pls. go to dine at No. 9 on town and you won't be disappointing. Stay at a nice hotel such as Reverie Siam and enjoy the relaxation time, rent a motorbike if you can.
Pai is definitely for those wanting to escape life, many tourists who seem to have no thought for the people who actually live there.
The nature and nice view of northern part of Thailand that you can feel. It may not rich with culture like Chiengmai but you can enjoy and relax a lot here.
Pai is a very good place for leisure travelers. Good weather & nice scenery. Just 3 hrs from Chiangmai by car.
The ride to Pai from Chaingmai is fantastic! 762 curve, up and down the mountains. Once there, there is so much.
very quite if there is no big even, Lots of International Restaurant easy to travel around by motorcycle.
relaxing place, you can do nothing there but still not think that is wasting time, good place to stay.
Pai is more about relaxing & romance place. Attraction place like Pai Canyon, War II Memorial Bridge, Hot Spring,Wat Phra That Mae look around city view.
It's a nice mountain area good for sightseeing. The night market is nice, and the food is amazing. you can enjoy a Thai massage at a very low price.
we love the uphill and downhill, it is good to drive around and find our own spot explore the different from city
Pai is a town that use to be a very quiet place, a middle way to stop before travel to Mae Hong Sorn.
Pai ad been discovered, but retains, so far, its rural, simple atmosphere. Among the many hut-type eateries are some high class restaurants serving a variety of cuisines.
It's a small town for ppl to relax and enjoy the sceneries. Best to get around with a motorbike or a car.
Pai is a small town in northern Thailand's Mae Hong Son Province, near the Myanmar border, about 50 miles/80 km north of Chiang Mai on the northern route to Mae Hong Son.
