Location: 10/10 near Berjaya Times Square, near monorail IMBI station, there are restaurants/convenience store behind the building. Facilities: 10/10 tissue provided, blower, hot and cold shower, airconditioned probably the most important thing are mentioned, you can also iron your clothes outside, common space to hang out with tv, study space and pantry. WIFI/INTERNET is decent, can used social medias but not that strong, haven't tried working remotely. Honest Review/Things to improve: The building is quite old, the comfort room for double room can be renovated, fix the door lock on cr, the bidet, faucet/sink. Maintain spot-clean at all corners. We enjoyed the hospitality, warm welcome and friendliness of the staffs especially the owner! Will definitely go back and recommend this to everybody!
I prepaid for my hostel booking with my Visa card on February 14th, intending to have a place to sleep upon my arrival on February 15th. However, when I checked in, the man at the front desk informed me that they didn’t have any available beds but could offer me another room. Exhausted from my early morning arrival around 4-5 am, I reluctantly agreed, despite having already paid for my original bed. While I was on the phone, the man suddenly told me to clean my feet. Assuming it was for the cleanliness of the bedsheets, I complied, using my phone as a light source. Unexpectedly, he approached my bed and touched my feet, offering to massage them. I declined, saying, “No, uncle, thank you.” Feeling scared to stay in that hostel but having prepaid for four nights and with it being early morning, I discovered he had locked the door from the outside of my room. Terrified, I called a friend to stay connected with me. The next morning, I searched for another hostel or apartment, but my card wasn’t working, so I had to remain there. The hostel room and washroom were filthy. I tried my best to stay out most of the time, but the man entered my room 2-3 times. I even messaged him, requesting a room change. It was my mistake to choose a mixed dormitory, but I had never faced such issues in previous countries. One night, while heading to a friend’s birthday party wearing a bodycon dress, he made inappropriate comments and touched his private parts. Terrified, I moved to a different place the next day. However, since I had already paid and had many bags, I told him I would keep my bags in my assigned bed and return on my checkout date. After two days, when I returned, I found another man in my bed. The front desk man claimed that since I wasn’t there, he had moved my belongings to the storeroom and assigned the bed to a female guest.. As solo travelers, we stay in hostels to save money and feel safe, but I had to move to an apartment because I was so scared in that hostel. My apartment check in was 3 pm i thought i will stay some times and took my bags even i said him that i can pay for one day but as my apartment check in is 3am. But he gave me a private room and said i can stay for 12.30 here my seat is not available overall my experience with This hostel horrible
Clean rooms and spaces. Great location near Times Square. Friendly staff. Basic facilities but enough for a budget stay. Good price for what you get. Wi-Fi works well. Cons: Can be noisy. Small rooms. Shared bathrooms can get busy. Overall, a good cheap option for staying in Kuala Lumpur.
We actually stayed here because a major problem occurred from agoda’s end, so we’re unable to stay in our supposed accommodation. We got to the hotel without expecting anything since we are already tired and it took us 4hrs to get this accommodation. When we got here, the staff are nice and the process took just a few minutes. The room are very nice too, it’s super clean and spacious, there’s also a complimentary water and coffee. If you are planning on staying longer it also have a fridge and kettle. Location is very very good too it’s near the shops, train station, food stalls and other tourist spots. However, there’s only one clothing iron per floor which is located in front of the elevator and beside the construction inside the building, so your clothes gets the dirt and dusts. Overall, it is a pleasant stay we really enjoyed staying here.

So, this will be a bit of mixed feelings to this property, personally speaking. I had an extended stay regardless. To cite the good sides, 4 people dorms ensuite are actually comfortable to stay and sleep, ac on 24/7, well aerated. I will point out that i did sleep very well these days, and could use my bed light at night whenever i pleased. Free toilet papers and toilet seat exist (some other horrible places I’ve been to actually don’t have either). And what may be hand detergents too, hung next to the shower water heater, but I’m not sure how old it is. So yes, good warm showers also there. Lockers exist and require your own pad locks. Minimal breakfast exists, when you're hungry in the morning and don't want to go out right away or cook you can munch on the white bread usually provided with diabetically sweet fruit (flavored) jams, but occasionally with chocolate paste and peanut better, also ground coffee until it lasts. I didn’t let it dictate my breakfast everyday, because i buy my own eggs and extras which i cooked with the fry pans and stoves existing in the property. So, strictly speaking, necessities to live are actually there, which is great when not every hostel out there in KL provides these basics, and often they charge more. At the time i needed printing, the reception also provided them for free, while another one i stayed at would charge me 1 ringgit each, which is great. Last but not least, change of room is flexible, in case you run into some vile beings as roommates, or something else. On the downside, and that is what I chose to tolerate in light of the affordances, is the lack of hygiene once you’re outside your bed. I don’t particularly mean the in-property corridors and lobby, but the temporary back-door alley that they put the cooking stoves in. Relieved as I was that I could cook and not let outside eateries strain my budget, I will say quite objectively the condition of the cooking place is appalling. Next to the reception is actually a (relatively furnished) kitchen area where they once put an electric stove at, but they took it away after deciding cooking smell was too much in that area. But all the utensils, cooking wares and whatnot are there, and detergents. So happens next is everybody have to run up and down stairs carrying these things about 10 times per cooking attempt, up to the disgusting temporary cooking space. I mean, you can install a ventilation to the actual kitchen that needs it, rather than creating a toll on customers and having them operate in a disgusting back alley nothing short of an abandoned foul alley complete with hide and seek mice. Again on the point of hygiene, the utensils and cups and containers are 99% plastic, which have bad smell when you pick from the drying rack. Plastic containers don’t clean well and they don’t withstand heat. I had to reclean them every time i use and still hope for the best. That makes me think the property doesn’t really care in regards of food hygiene or preventing risks of food poisoning to travelers whose stomach aren’t as adapt as the locals who grew up with and possibly got used to such invisible pestilence. And even if I have a strong body I shouldn’t have to ingest foul things. More to the downsides: some people of certain ethnicities put feet on lobby table, use phone speaker loud, talk on phones loud, some don’t clean the cups they used after drink, put them right back at the drying rack. Is Malaysia a third world now? I can’t tell for sure it’s the quality of people that the budget attracts or is it the property that fails to enforce simple, considerate rules. So like i said it’s a mixed review. For the budget affordance to cook and sleep soundly I stayed, given the lack of good options in KL. But it’s for you to decide whether you do.
