Not an apartment. Small hotel room advertised as an apartment
I could not get in - there was no-one as i reserved at 10pm by Skyscanner. Thereafter, I could not get my money back. So bad.
I stayed for 3 nights on business. This place does not meet the 4 star rating standards as defined on hotel booking websites. In the Suede room, the curtains are falling off the ceiling and off the curtain rods; one of two light bulbs in the bathroom was blown out and not replaced the entire week; in the bathroom, the silver plate which has the buttons for flushing the toilet falls off the wall INTO the toilet; there are no tissues; no ironing board to accompany the iron; and a disgusting soiled seat at the foot of the bed. The sink in the bathroom is ridiculously small. They did accommodate early check in and the towels and sheets felt clean and fresh; street noise dies down around 11:30 PM. These things can easily be fixed, but based on past reviews, they seem to be ignored.
Just not worth the money..
Location is good”
Location is good. Room size is acceptable. Able to store our luggage after check out. Staff were friendly. Aircon control is located outside the room, so need to adjust outside. Bathroom is small and using rain shower, temperature cold and hot sometimes not controllable.
Very misleading photos, old and in need of renovation ”
The pictures on the website are very misleading. The rooms are desperately in need of renovation. The carpets and furniture were stained. The room smelled badly of old cooked food. Only the location is superb.
The apartment is very close to Liverpool Street Station, which was why we decided to stay there. The apartment was nice and clean and staff was very helpfull. The kitchen didn’t have any pans og pots, so we couln’t cook as we expected. The refrigerator was much too small and kept freezing our things, and we couln’t turn it down. We bought a breadknife and has left it there. The water was to cold both in the shower and in the kitchen. I had to boil water to do the dishes. We weren’t able to take a proper shower, eventhough the sent for a plummer. It was eigther very cold og very warm. The faucet was clearly broken, so we had to was ourselves by the very small zink in the bathroom and use dry shampoo. NOT OK!
Very clean, convenient and surprisingly quiet in such a central and good location in the City. Easy to find and great to get the key after hours with easy instructions to access entry. Great location also for food and restaurants and walk into the office in the morning. In addition with the benefit of Liverpool street just across the road. Made a change from staying in a hotel and would highly recommend.
The room was basic with cheap furniture and needed repainting. The laminate floor was cheap and covered with a long haired loose pile rug which had seen so much foot traffic it lay flat and felt dirty under foot. I did not feel comfortable walking on it bare foot. I was not able to use the desk in the room as I was worried it might break off from its fixings on the wall if I placed my laptop on it. I could hear my neighbours conversation through the stud wall as well as them walking on their laminated floor which creaked under foot. Then there was the balcony which I thought I would be able to use as it was a hot evening, there was no rail around the balcony just builders orange plastic partition which could be moved by anyone, I was told it was safe as the building next door was being renovated and there were no builders there at the time I checked in, this did not make my feel safe and there was also a strong smell on takeaway food so I was unable to open the door for any fresh air.
Theres no lift, not good if you are given the apartment on the 6th floor, not enough towels, 1 toilet roll half empty, bed too small. a bit tacky
Comfortable relaxing stay in excellent location”
The room was perfect, clean, everything needed and more including fridge and a balcony. The location is great - right opposite Liverpool Street, close to Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane Market. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning.
The extra bed/bed sofa was not comfortable at all and could be replaced by a bed instead (we were 3 ppl staying in the flat). Apart from that: all fine!
Great location, very close the Duck and Waffle”
Choose this hotel since it's pretty close to Duck and Waffle so that I can have breakfast at 6:30 at the Duck and Waffle and go back to hotel to check out and go to Heathrow for my noon flight. The location is central, not far from Borough market either. If you are interested in Borough and Duck&Waffle, this place is a good option.
Location was fantastic. Room was basic but sufficient. Good value for money.
Very nice place, the apartment have everything you need. You have to walk up to stair which maybe annoying to some people, but after the stair. The awesome balcony is waiting for you.
hi, i have sent an email with the issues of our room.
good value for money”
location just the top... everything fine and staff friendly ... cleaning was okay
Good place but wish they had an elevator
Good location but not much else”
Expecting more. Check in only between 14 and 22 - had to run back after dinner. Internet connection free but super slow, almost impossible to use, I would have been happy to pay for a decent one. No water in the room. Cannot open the window as my room was in front of a Chinese restaurant kitchen - horrible smells coming out of it. Can't say that it doesn't have all the facility of a 3 stars place but I was expecting much more for the price paid.
