Amazing Experience”
We had an amazing experience Riad Hodden Hotel. It's a perfect location in the marketplace Marketplace. While the market place is a busy place, the riad it was peaceful and quiet setting with. It has a terrace on top and amazing views of the surrounding Medina.

Great service from staff. ”
I’m a world traveler, have to say this hotel’s front desk staff is the best ! He is out of his way to help us , not only had a nice tea party with us (you have to try!) but also brought us to money change place, help us to buy fruits, etc. Can not find anywhere has such a wonderful staff working in the front desk. He should be a manager!

DO NOT BOOK! STAY AWAY!!”
The following is our experience. Please keep in mind that we were the ONLY guests during our stay. 1/. One set of pillows reek of damp mildew/sweat. So bad to unusable point and had to be put away. 2/. The mean attendant young man: a). He keeps the wifi router inside his room. (The brick walls of the hotel building is not wifi-friendly.) So wifi signal non-existent inside our room. When asked if we can keep the router closer to the room since we were the only guests, he keeps saying "wifi is working" and refused to take the router outside. For the first 2 days we didn't have internet. And had to stand by the wall of the neighbor who kindly shared his wifi hot-spot to get internet access. Problem only solved after texting the hotel owner, who's number, again we got from our kind neighbor. b). Tried to rip us off by asking €25 PER PERSON(!) for a taxi ride back to the airport. The ENTIRE taxi only costs 100Dirhams ($11). We only paid that much from the airport to the hotel and managed to get a taxi ourselves for the same price. He has to think we're idiots to fall for that. c). Promised breakfast will be at 10am. He only wakes up at 11am and we could only eat at 1130am. d). Keeps annoyingly asking if there is something else we need. And says no to whatever we asked (like for the router to be closer). It's in the best interest of the hotel to remove the young man. 3/. The pool shown in the picture is all littered with dead leaves, algae and dirt. No way it is safe to get in. 4/. We had to wait over 2 hours outside the hotel for someone to come open the door. And we would have had to wait more if it weren't again for the kind neighbor who helped us call the hotel owner. 5/. Everything is folded up and put away in the hotel. The chairs, the lounging area, etc. 6/. Bird poop all over the corridors and hand rails. 7/. Have to keep asking for toilet paper. Overall yes, we realize we booked the place during Ramadan when tourists would be sparse. But if the hotel

Superb location!”
We were lucky to get the room as it was booked through agoda quite last minute. The riad hidden, just like the name, is hidden in the crowded of medina, very close by and simply walking distance from place jamaa el-fnaa, where you can find good restaurants, good food and some cafes to have a cup of mint tea. Walking distance to many attractions inside the medina, souks, mosques, other good restaurants, and cafes, museums, etc. For first timer like us, i think it is good to stay inside the medina. The room is well-decorated. i must say, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also clean and nice. breakfast was good, available on the rooftop. The orange juice were fresh every morning along with the bread. Window of the room is facing inside the riad. Very bright and beautiful.

Great Stay”
Lovely welcome by host, Ikram, who made tasty breakfasts each morning & was very helpful. Riad Hidden is a beautiful historic home from home in Medina, close to everything. We are going back as we had a good time. Easy to get around from as just off a main street of the medina.

I would recommend the staff only - See Review”
First, let me say that we did not stay at the Hidden Hotel. 2 days before our arrival, our host contacted me and said the hotel was damaged and could not host anyone. But instead of just cancelling me, he actually made alternate arrangements with other, comparable riads in the Medina. We ended up in a diff place but it was very nice, a safe, 5 minute walk to the square, and lined with shops. I never saw Hidden Hotel or how it compares to where we ended up, but I will say this: the staff at Hidden Hotel did a tremendous service for us when it found our alternate accommodations. He gave me his WhatsApp number and we communicated to make sure that we found our new place, and took care of all of the arrangements so we just checked-in seamlessly. Maybe Hidden Hotel was a nicer hotel, maybe not, but their staff is top notch and that's worth as much to me as a good location. Thanks!

Traditional with good location and great staff”
Getting there is difficult (specially if it's the first time you are in Marrakech). It is two/three streets away from the main square. The street where it is located looks dirty and ugly but the hotel from the inside is really nice. It is a very good hide away from the craziness of the streets (very peaceful and quiet, with trees in the yard). Our room was nice, although the bathroom was not that nice (each time you flush the toilet, you can hear the water pipes) and the shower was very old and low water pressure. The breakfast was very good! I recommend to include it from the beginning in your reservation... It's worth it! In general, good place very near the main square and the souks with a friendly staff.

Exceptional”
This Riad is like a little oasis in the market. Quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is lovely and plentiful. Room was very comfortable. The host, Ikram made our stay exceptional. From the moment we checked in, till the time we checked out, she was giving us advice, helping any way she could. The rest of the staff was also sweet, kind and cheerful. I would recommend this Riad, and would stay there again.

Kindness & Local Atmosphere”
I stayed for 3 nights there. And the manager treated me well just like bother, family. The day when I go to the dessert in the early morning, he provided breakfast at 6:30 just only for me. And this riad is very close to 'Jemma el fna' square. So you can easily access to that place. The room is clean of course and the interior inside of it is the typical local concept enough to feel the 'marrakech'.

Homely hotel and peaceful place”
I feel very safe inside the hotel after walking through noisy and crazy medina. The atmosphere made me feel like home. I like the open courtyard of the hotel and the friendliness of the hotel owner -salma. She gave me clear direction of how to explore Marakech. The hotel is hidden in the small ally as indicated by name. I had to walk past the medina and local offering for help with initially saying that no money and no gift, at the end they ask for high in return. If you want to stay at this hotel you have to ask for transportation organized by the hotel ortherwise you will end up with high payment. If t he hotel provided more choices of breakfast such as fruit or vegetable would be perfect. So far, I like the ambient and Morocco style.

great riad”
this was our first experience in a moroccan riad and we had a great time. the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. the room was huge, had lots of hot water and was only a short walk to djemaa el fna. very nice breakfast too. negative - the description of the room was not accurate. the delux suite only had a double bed and not a double and single and no kitchenette and no fireplace as stated on the website.

It was fantastic. We feel so relax and at home with the surrounding. Nice to be back at the Riad after a long day of site seeing. The Riad ambience is so fantastic. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Very nice staff”
The hotel is located in the middle of the old town, yet still quiet (the garden view room). The staffs are very very friendly, gave us a lot of help and suggestions. A nice riad to stay.

The riad is centraly located in the heart of the old city. Easy to reach once you have arrived to the main square. They will send you someone to pick you up from the main square.

Excellent. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Stay here if you get the chance.”
I gave only 4 for facilities because it didn't have a gym. But who really needs a gym in Marrakech?
