Riad Hua Hin Hotel
Hua Hin City Center
I loved this places decor and amenities. Definitely my favorite place in Hua Hin. It is a bit out of the actual city but I really liked that. It provided a peaceful getaway without the cluster of tourists and backpackers. The decoration was a Morocco cat theme, which I loved. They had a siting area which is great for pictures on the second floor. They helped me get a scooter, called me a taxi when it was time to leave, and they have a great selection of DVD's since I didn't want to want TV. Everyone was so sweet. The pool was nice and my bathtub was amazing too!
best place to stay in the Hua Hin area - Takiab”
I absolutely love this place. It was so unique. Beautiful room. 3-minute walk to the beach. Great staff. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful pool. Beautiful balcony. The decor was gorgeous and original. Highly recommend!
Not clean, breakfast is ok, not comfortable for family with young children”
The hotel design is beautiful but the maintenance is quite low. The room is not clean, room smells like pet food and pee. It would be nicer if they keep the hotel clean and fresh. There are stain on our bed cover we requested for them to change but nothing happens. Not coming back again.
Lovely Quiet Haven Amidst the Rush!”
Loved this small quiet hotel and the Moroccan theme was quaint and made the hotel very different and interesting . Staff were so friendly with one lady even taking us in her car to our next Condo a few minutes up the road! Would certainly come back for a few days anytime! Highly recommend if you are sick of ordinary hotels and like cats!
Beautiful little resort”
We loved the design and the hand made feel of the place. It is small and cozy. Located on a quiet small street, one can relax there and take a bicycle for free to the beach, market, or other places nearby. One highlight in Khao Takiab area is the row of small seafood restaurants right in front of the pier used by fishermen. Very fresh and reasonable, for a tourist area.
My patner and 2 year old had an amazing holiday at Riad. Positioned in a quiet tranquil soi you can relax and escape into another wolrd. The Staff were exceptionally caring and attentive to our every need. My daughter loved playing with the resident cats, swimming in the pool and going for a ride on the push bike to the beach. We loved this little morrocan boutique gem and look forward to staying here again in the future.
A little quiet riad in the crowded Takiab district”
Awesome!! We enjoyed it so much since we were looking for an escape from BKK. the hotel was quiet since there was only 10 rooms to offer. The room was nice (kind of cute actually). The breakfast was simple (in a good way). We have the poolside room & we enjoyed the room very much. But one thing i would have to mention about the hotel is their "Professionalism". So many rules & regulations that you need to follow; smoking area, food from outside, amount of ppl sitting at the table. But it was all good.
Value for money ”
staff are accommodating and helpful.
Nice place ”
Lack of staff but overall is fine
A wonderful find to recharge and chill”
Not really knowing what we'll find, we were pleasantly surprise with the warm welcome after a much delayed arrival. We were equally delighted with the room - nicely decorated, good size, with a good size balcony overlooking the pool and has everything we need. Sleep was good, thanks to the comfortable bed and quiet surrounding. Breakfast was simple but plenty and the ladies were very helpful to accommodate our needs. The beach was around a 200m walk away. Pleasant enough, other than the occasional beach vendors, we were left to our ourselves. All in all - very very happy with our experience.
I recommend people who love cats to stay here!! This hotel had to improve about the cleanliness but overall was fine. I love this place because of the peacefull. Not much variety of breakfast but it is ok for me. I will come back here again.
Interesting Hotel !”
The "arabic" style of the hotel is really nice with it's warm colors and the pool being the center piece of the building. There is a handful of cats hanging around which adds a good mood if you are into cats. On the other hand, the building is basically a big piece of painted concrete. If you tell me that the cats were working on the painting and maintenance of the building this would explain the lack of painting skills and masking tape use. Basically, I don't think the hotel price (2000baht+) per night is justified.
Reception staff is not friendly.”
The location is far from tourist attractions and hard to find but good for those who looking for quiet place. The hotel is small but well designed and decoration. The bath tube is not that clean and towels are smelly. The last but not least, reception staff is not friendly and lack of service mind.
Very photogenic hotel in good location”
No complaints about our two nights at the Riad. Located on a quiet side street south of Khao Takiab, the hotel is ingeniously laid out around a central pool area, and our "Sleeping Cat" rooms on the ground floor opened directly onto the swimming pool. Well-appointed room with everything necessary, including an ensuite jacuzzi we did not even use. Breakfasts were decent without being exactly stellar, and were served in a pleasant covered area opening onto the pool. The "cat" motif is everywhere, and is quite sweet. The resident cats were well-behaved, but if you happen to hate cats, this may not be the place for you. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The Riad is not right by the sea, but a short walk (c. 300 metres) gets you to a beach (Suan Son Pradipath) that is - in our opinion - much better and less touristy than Hua Hin itself. There is also a good golf course close by. If you have a car (we did)) there is limited parking under the building, and songthaew buses run from the Supatra-by-the-Sea restaurant a short distance to the north, and will take you all the way to Hua Hin for a fraction of the cost of a taxi. Plenty of good seafood restaurants not far away in Khao Takiab. Considering all these benefits, and the fact that prices were reasonable, we were surprised to be almost the only Westerners in the place, and to learn that 90-95% of guests are Thais, mostly Bangkok weekenders. I would have expected others to pick up on a niche boutique hotel such as this, but perhaps tourists really ARE sheep, or maybe the Riad owners ought to get their website going properly: it has been "under construction" for far too long.
Small room but unique style hotel”
A good hotel but quite far from the main road. Moreover, it is not close with the sea but they provide a bicycle to ride and don't have to walk. However, if you don't have a car so it will hard to go and find something to eat outside the hotel.
Small unique hotel with good climate.”
good service from staff when i ask for the short cut way to the floating market. the choices of food of breakfast is worthy. the hotel s a bit far from hua hin city, so it suits for a couple who need a privacy. the room s furnished beautifully but the size s rather small. plus, the romantic view at the pool in night time.
Lovely, friendly and comfortably hotel.”
I stayed in the Sleeping cat room. It was completely cute with Moroccan Decorating Ideas and cats on the pillow case. I had 5 mins walked to the beach and back to swim in the pool. Pool was a quiet small but not crowded. All staffs are very nice. If you are looking for the real real rest with lovely Morroc style I recommend Riad.
Cozy decoration with chill out atmosphere ”
we went to riad on the weekend. so,there are not much people there. the most important is the decoration, function room, cleanliness, free bicycle for riding around those area. i love their design and the sitting cat room. there are more space both in bedroom and bathroom. i recommend for a couple or a family to spend your vacation at this lovely place.
Nice place for relax”
