Lovely”
Riad was absolutely stunning in a good, convenient location for all our tourist needs! Big shout out to the staff who were phenomenally helpful. Only little issue was that the bird they keep in the riad is quite chirpy and would wake us up a teeny bit earlier than we would have liked but was a nice alarm clock at least!

I'm at work so this will be straight to it... Searched high and low for the perfect riad to stay in for our first trip to Marrakech. We fell in love with the look and amenities Riad Les Yeux Bleus had to offer and were willing to go out of our budget to stay there. Upon our arrival we were greeted warmly by the staff. Very friendly. After we got settled, we started to explore the riad and realized it was under maintenance. At first i didn't think it was a big deal, but after the 2nd night i realized maintenance was going to continue throughout our stay. -roof terrace area not usable. respackling of walls/ repainting, pool drained. lounge area broken down. -2nd floor reading room being refurbished. room broken down being spackled/ painted - ladders, spackle dust, and paint chips all over the floors. kind of a bummer, i felt like we didn't have use of the riad or privacy because the only area available was the center of the riad. Food was great! Loved the staff! Unis was great! ... except for the night manager who listened to music on his phone during sleeping hours ( after 11pm) 2 days in a row. Our last night there the same gentleman ask what time we would be departing and when we would like breakfast service. We told him we were leaving pretty early so not to worry about it. He insisted we have breakfast so we told him 7am would be fine. we were up by 5am packing up. At 6am we could hear the night manager's alarm going off constantly for the next couple hours. Our taxi rang the door bell at 8 am. i peeked out of our room and still didn't see anything set up and i didn't feel at liberty to open the door, so we waited. bell rang again, heard the manager run to open it. 2 mins. later we grabbed our packs to leave and breakfast was there. i get it, i worked night shifts before. it's the worst shift. it makes you hate life a little bit. It wasn't that he woke up late or didn't have breakfast setup. The thing that bothered me the most was that he asked
