I had stayed at the Hakata Richmond hotel once and I had a good memory there. Therefore I picked Richmond again when i went to Nagoya. The place is really nice and comfy. 10min walk from the station. And the size is more than expected which i can open two 26” suitcase. Especially they reacted on my request and provided the room with railway views. Also, convenience store is located right at the corner. Yet, when I check in, the reception guy may be a bit shy in speaking in English and not sure about that i can speak Japanese therefore he didn’t explain much to me. And he forgot to tell me about the check out time(haha). However, the reception lady served me when i check out is SUPER experienced and helpful even she looks so young! She showed me all the way to the nearby clearly. Also, she helped me to deliver a package to Japan local which I thought I need to take a long queue in the post office! To conclude, I did enjoy my stay at Richmond and I definitely will be back again.

This place is so close to the Nagoya station, which was ideal for us as we have big suitcases. Only about 5 minutes walk. Yummy buffet breakfast with lots of Japanese and Western options! 2 convenience stores about 2 minutes walk from hotel. The shower cap, bath salts, face wash, cleansing oil and moisturiser offered at check in was a nice touch.

Although this trip was somewhat affected by the COVID-19 issue but this does not make my impression of the hotel bad. Front Desk Staff were very polite and nice with a few well-spoken English staffs. Very informative guide can be easily accessed via the room TV and they even loan you a travel adapter in case you need it. Breakfast served is Japanese style and was nice. Finally, a very good location where you can easily access to the Nagoya Station. Overall, a good choice of hotel accommodation and will be recommending to anyone whom wishes to visit Nagoya.

As you say, there are information guide around our hotel is provided on TV in the customer's room. The guests are able to find some information and see the map on the TV. And also we are providing the conversion adapter at the front desk. However, we are not providing a transformer. So please bring it if you need one. Few of our staff are able to speak English, so please feel free to stand by the front desk. You are able to enjoy some different kinds of breakfast in seasons and events. Quiet and peaceful hotel”
The hotel has friendly staff and check-in is fast. Rooms are very clean and with complete amenities. Walk from the Shinkansen entrance takes about 15 mins but it is very near Gate Tower Hotel and JR Train Station where all the malls and restos are located. Will definitely recommend this hotel for budget travellers.

The bed is big and long enough, a big bath and toilet room, no strange smells. In the room: drip coffee and tea bag, 1-liter kettle, room spray, air moisturizer, etc. Super clean! I really liked this hotel.

The Richmond Hotel was a brilliant place to stay. Not only were the staff friendly and the location very convenient, but so many of the guests were friendly and chatty. The rooms were fantastic, the location was excellent with so many fantastic places nearby to eat at all times of the day.

Everything is nice. Opposite there an noodle restaurant is very nice. It need to wait for at least 30 minutes. The distance to subway.... it look near but still need 10 minutes of walk..

Very nice, modern hotel and close to Nagoya station, shopping malls and restaurants. The staff is nice and friendly. Clean beautiful room with comfortable beds and a high quality organic shampoo and shower gel. Excellent breakfast. Very good service. Highly recommend this place.

The room is clean, everything is equipped. Staffs are nice and helpful. At the beginning I think the location is bit far from the Meitetsu station, but then I try the path through JR station and it’s a bit closer. We do enjoy our stay here.

An excellent hotel”
The receptionists are very nice, professionally trained and informative. Room is new and decorated with all you need during the journey. Although the location is a bit far from JR Station, it only takes about 10 minutes walk. There is an excellent ramen shop Shishimaru just opposite to the hotel that you MUST try. I cannot find any reason to choose another one hotel when I come travelling in Nagoya again.
