The rooms may be small but it is very comfortable, complete with amenities, impeccable service, very helpful staff, and great location. Supermarket nearby and convenience stores all around. You can take the train to Namba or do a 15-minute stroll. No street noises, too.

Staff are friendly and helpful and greet us everytime we pass by the lobby. Rooms are sparkling clean. Though not super spacious but the space in the toilet is generous with a bath tub. Keep up the good work.

Good value for money, close to Namba and quiet”
We stayed at Richmond at 2 occasions recently during our holiday in Japan. The staff welcomed us with smile, handled the check in and check out steps efficiently. The double room was rather small but fairly reflects the value for money paid. 2 local super markets nearby, a few convenient stores and many restaurants options. Max 10 min pleasant walk to Namba. I’d stay again when I visit Osaka.

The hotel is very clean, only 5 mins away from train station and the staff were nice especially Aya Matsuo who was very helpful, accommodating and hospitable to us during our stay. Will definitely be back in Richmond Hotel Namba Daikokucho

Is a nice and cozy hotel. Just that limited space to open our luggages. Near to subway Daikokucho station and can also walk around 10 minutes to Namba station. There is a 100yen Sushi conveyor belt restaurant nearby... very nice and worth it. My family love it so much. The hotel staffs are very helpful too. I will be back...

I really like the staff and service of this hotel. I would say with the discount in pricing when we booked Richmond, to almost the same as another hotel we stayed in Kyoto, in comparison Richmond is definitely more value-for-money. A basic no frills hotel with good service. Quite a lot of good food around.

Good location and great staff”
We stayed spent our hotel stays in Richmond Osaka - Kyoto - Richmond Osaka. So this was our 2nd check in to this hotel during our trip. I must say I looked forward to returning to this hotel. Somehow I preferred it over our Kyoto stay.

If You look for Value Hotels”
Richmonds is good rate specially at week end. Location is good. You can walk to Namba or Simbashi area. The alternative you can use train for one or two stops from Daikukucho station near by. Room is quite big for japan hotel and clean. If you want using JRPass for train, you can walk abiut 900 m to Imamiya station using JR train on Osaka loops or Express train to Kyoto station.

Great location and wonderful breakfast ”
The breakfast is great with 箱押寿司 and I really like that dessert made of Matcha. The location is perfect which is so close to the Metro Station...if you come with a big luggage, please choose Exit no.6 where there is elevator up to the ground. Moreover, it takes only 2 min walk to the Fresh Food Market where we bought fresh deli sashimi and strawberries for our breakfast. The market closes on each Wed. Make sure you come on the right day. I will sure recommend this hotel to my friends.

Really nice staff, coffee in room (!), more spacious than you'd expect for Japan, good location that is both central and quiet, great value overall. There is a machine in the lobby that changes large bills to small, and an ice and vending machine (beer, cold coffee, soda) on each floor.

Value for money, convenient, and very clean ”
Perfect for traveling with kids. The only down side is there’s no escalator or elevator at Daikokucho subway exit but you can definitely overlook this factor.

Close to everywhere ”
This hotel is close to Daikokucho Station, 1stop to namba, 2 stops to Shinsaibashi which is great. U can also walk to namba if you are up for it (we walked once and it was pleasant). We also walked to Nankai Station for Kansai Airport train. Room very small and cramp for 3 of us with luggages. Very hard to move around and you can open big suitcase one at the time. However, we love the separate shower and toilet in the room. Spacious shower and intelligent toilet is a plus point. Most of all, I am impressed that this hotel do provide "halal" breakfast bento from their halal kitchen for Muslim travellers. You can booked your halal breakfast in advance. We don't mind going back to this hotel dispite small room.
