Great Hotel! Great Staff! Excellent Location!”
We have stayed in Sapporo many times but it was our first time at the Richmond. The hotel opens onto the covered Tanukikoji Shopping Area. Right outside the hotel there are escalators to take you into Pole Town (another shopping area). Its convenient to restaurants in Susukino and is in walking distance to Odori Park. The room is very spacious. In addition to the two beds there was a sitting area with coffee table with sofa. And the sofa pulled out into an additional bed. There was a tub in bathroom. We had breakfast included and the breakfast was very nice. Lots of delicious choices. Staff was especially nice and helpful and it appeared that all of the front staff could speak english. This hotel is about a block and a half from the closest airport shuttle stop (Sunroute Hotel). This will be our go to hotel when we are in Sapporo. What a wonderful find!

Clean room with an excellent location”
Great location right in Susukino and with eatries and shopping everywhere. The bus stop for the airport limo bus is within 3 mins walk. The rooms are clean although the toilet area is pretty small. There was hardly any space to put our personal toiletries bags. The hotel also does not provide bottled water unless you opt not to change new sheets for room cleaning. There is also no parking provided if you drive.

Hotel was in an excellent location, adjacent to a shopping and restaurants, close to Odori Park. Shopping on the street and underground shopping at Pole Town and Aurora Town. If you are a non smoke make sure you emphasize non-smoking, double and triple rooms are best size rooms to get. The other room is too small. Staff and accommodations are great - I would highly recommend.

Excellent location - next to shopping areas and Odori Park. Shopping available on the street or underground - amazing food - hotel is so convenient. If you are a non-smoker - make sure you request for non-smoking rooms - we had to change our rooms. Double or triple rooms are very good size and comfortable.

Hotel very near to Tanukikoji Shopping Street, it’s just a walk in distance and few minutes walk to Odori park. Hotel staff is nice and friendly. Hotel room is spacious and clean. Parking lots where is nearby the hotel and as a guest will be charged 1000 yen per night for 24hrs.

I work from home and with the whole COVID thing find myself stuck in the house way too much. I come to stay here every 2 months to get away and simply clear my head. There's a whole bunch of restaurants in this area and a 24-hour Donki across the road as well so if you fancy a bit of 2 am shopping this is your place!

Excellent location - this was our 2nd stay at this hotel - so convenient with great service. Rooms are very well maintained - double and triple rooms are perfect size. The single or queen bed rooms are pretty tight but maneageqble. If you are a non smoker - need to emphasize the requirement of a non smoking floor

Perfect location in the heart of Susukino”
Staff are a friendly and helpful bunch. Room size (triple) is good and comfortable for group of 3s. Bathroom is well equipped. In summary, I cannot think of anything negative about this place.

Cosy and friendly hotel in a central location”
Hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to many shopping malls and food PLACES. Don Ki is just next to it, via the back entrance. The staff were very helpful and friendly towards my kids, and they got complimentary kids toiletry sets. The Double room is very small, so if you have kids or need more space, book another room type instead. If you're driving, they can arrange parking about four minutes walk away for 1000 Yen per day, where you'll be issued a special ticket so that you can enter and leave any time.

Staff esp female is super friendly and very helpful. The location is great and few drug store open 24 hrs just right beside the hotel have one and near to many attractions as well. Opposite the hotel have a shopping malls. Next to subway but is a long walk which u will pass through the pole town then only reach the entrance of the station.
