Hotel is located in business area. MTR was efficient, but a little bit far from Osaka central district, a transit of MTR is needed, and the distance between stations was FAR~~~!!! Hotel facility was old, a typical Japanese business hotel. Room was small and compact, double bed room is no good for 2 persons. Shower room was OK, but no air conditioning was killing me after having a shower, I had to ask staff to open the window for me with their special key. It was very noisy in mid-night. Although it was in business area, but ambulance noise was everywhere. I could not sleep well for 3 nights. However, staffs were nice. Their service and answering attitude was GOOD!!
The location was ok as it was near a few subway stations and also a several minutes walk to Umeda. The hotel provides a phone with data which is useful in navigating the location and which trains to take. There are also 2 convenience stores at the ground level which is open 24/7.
Air condition is HOT and We can't open Window. I had trouble breathing when we slept. By the way, This hotel are good location, easy to travel, Near Umeda around 1 km(can walk) and convenient store. Service is good.
Great for business trip!”
It has everything you need. I had a clean non-smoking room. It smelled fresh. The bed was very comfortable! It has a fridge, television, a mobile device you can borrow, and many more. Really loved the amenities in my room. Location is quite great but not much shopping and restaurants around the area, but it does have a Starbucks across it and a convenience store just around the corner. The metro station is just around the corner as well. The staff are helpful, they may not speak English well but always eager to help! Breakfast was okay, limited choices - did not quite enjoy it as much. Room is small but that’s a norm in Japan. Just glad that I went alone, or else it will be really really small with all the luggages.
Pros: good location, spacious room in Japanese standard, clean bathroom, breakfast was ok, nice tea set. Cons: facilities including linens and towels are literally soaked in tobacco smoke. poor wifi signal. If you are susceptible to tobacco smell, it's good to stay.
Location perfect, 100% recommended.”
Perfect location and have 3 (7-11, daily, Lawson) convenient store nearby. Not big room but have everything you need. Bath and big flow shower. English communication fluently. Strongly recommend.
Very good location hotel”
Hotel is very close with Metro easy to travel (but no elevator sometimes quite hard for big luggage)
Great location, we love handy”
Just a few steps away from Higobashi station of Yotsubashi Line. Very convenient. There's a 7-11 outside, a starbucks opposite to the hotel and lots of restaurants around. The room is relatively bigger than our hotel in Tokyo. It also has a handy, a mobile phone which you can use for text, calls and data during your stay in the hotel. They also have currency exchange with a better rate than the exchange machines. Only con is their pillow, my neck hurts every morning. Otherwise everything is great.
Great location, good facilities and cleanliness”
Just next door to Higobashi Subway, one station away from main Osaka Station. Although room is small, but toilet facilities and cleanliness are really good. Breakfast could be improved by adding fruits. Will definitely come back next time.
This hotel is a nice base when visiting Osaka. It is just a few meters away from Higobashi station, which was very convenient for us since this is a direct line to Namba, jump off point to the lively Dotonburi. Also, it is surrounded by various homey restaurants so we did not have a hard time looking for places to dine in. As for the room, we got an upgrade for no extra cost! On top of that, they gave us a corner room, we had a great view of the intersection downstairs. The room was spacious enough for us to open up our two huge luggages. Albeit the hotel design is dated, it is clean and well maintained. As for the front desk employees, they were very gracious and even allowed some guests to check in at an earlier time. As for us, they were gracious to let us rest by the lobby while deciding where to head next. We lounged by the lobby for around an hour! They allowed us to leave our luggage with them after our 11am check out since our flight out is at 8pm.
Hard to find but very convenient”
We tried to walk to the hotel from the train station and that was a mistake, it wasn't easy to navigate the underground shopping area. But the hotel is very close to a mall, a subway station, restaurants etc. Very quiet and comfortable, we wished we were staying more than one night.
Value for money”
Be ready for the long walk if you will take the subway. JR express is 10-15 minutes away. Overall the hotel is good especially when you are in a budget. Theres a lot of restaurant outside the hotel and starbucks just in front.
This hotel has a great location. It was an easy walk from the train station and I could easily access nice restaurants nearby. The property is a little older, but it's in good condition and very clean.
The hotel is very closed to train station as well as surrounded by many restaurants which on of them opened 24 hours. 7-11 also located just in front of the hotel. The room size was small as expected but could fit 02 luggage easily.
Value for Money”
Amazing hotel! it has very small rooms (max of 2 per room for the semi-double room) but it is super clean, the room is well maintained, they have the necessary things (toiletries, fridge, TV). One problem is that they don't have instructions on how to use the aircon/heater so it does get hot in the middle of the night however they have a humidifier in the room, which you can use. Staffs were really nice. Fast check-in and check-out. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is not found in Umeda or Namba, it is somewhere in between hence it is a lot quieter compared to those areas. It is 5 steps away from Higobashi station which is 3 stops away from Namba and 1 stop away from Nishi-umeda (very easy to go around). There are a lot of restaurants around (e.g. starbucks, matsuya (try their gyudon for breakfast), small japanese stalls). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Worth every cent considering that it is not an expensive hotel! :) Will definitely book this again when I go back to Osaka!
Not too bad”
Hotel was in a pretty good location. Just 1 min from higobashi station. The room is small, just like every other hotel room in Japan. Staff's command of English is somewhat lacking, but they were really friendly. Wifi is horrendous unfortunately. The signal couldn't last and had to be reconnected once every few minutes.
Quiet area with good transport at a reasonable price”
We stayed our last night in Japan here on a weekend. It was in a very quiet part of Osaka (the business district?), so limited options for meals nearby, although the upmarket Odona Mall, approx 500m from the hotel has some restaurants. It is very well located for the train station - Higobashi station is right below the hotel. Take exit 10 from the station and the hotel is just steps away - wonderful if you have luggage. Higobashi is also one stop south of Nishi-Umeda which is a major train hub with lots of shopping and dining options. The room is standard size for Japan, ie. small. We booked a small double, rather than a semi-double and I do think the bed was slightly bigger. In any case, it was a very comfortable bed for two people. The bathroom was very small, but adequately set up with a deep Japanese-style bath and a shower, full-sized sink and all the usual bells and whistles for a Japanese toilet, like heating and washing options. Overall, good value for money.
The hotel is literally 2 minutes walk from a subway station so it's pretty convenient. Although it's rather far from all the tourists' attractions in Osaka, it's located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with convenient stores and Starbucks nearby. Service is great.
Good night stop”
Flight cancelled, where to now? A friend drove us from Kansai, it was very easy to get here by road. Anyone from Vancouver (city of red traffic lights) will love these roads, quick and efficient. It's local to many restaurants though we took a 680 Yen (minimum fare) taxi ride to a popular restaurant district. I especially liked the service I received in the morning when I purchased two breakfasts, all you can eat, and very good. Starting a day with a good breakfast is important.
Very nice to stay”
Nice location-close to subway and CBD. The room is big enough comparing to another hotel. They provided a very good hair dryer and another one in the bathroom. Bed is clean. Reception is professional. Price is friendly. I would choose to stay here next time when I visit Osaka.
