My 2nd time in Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima”

Just as usual, Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima is a wonderful hotel delivering high quality service. There is no doubt that you will love the tidy and quite room, the delicious food and the kindness staff of the hotel. The hotel location is very convenience and you can buy/eat whatever you like in the nearby shopping malls or streets. This trip is a special one for me to celebrate my wife's birthday and Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima had assisted me to prepare a nice birthday cake which was delivered to us upon check in. Thank you so much and I will absolutely choose Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima again in my next journey.

Beautiful Hiroshima ”

We had a lovely stay in Hiroshima despite some things being closed due to the Coronavirus situation. We spent our time walking around the very peaceful & beautiful grounds of the Castle / Peace Memorial Park / Bomb Dome & a day trip to Miyajima was just perfect! We were spoilt by some early Cherry Blossoms in bloom as well🌸 🌸🌸 The Rihga Royal Hotel was a very comfortable home for us to return to every night - our room had glorious views over Hiroshima Castle and the staff very friendly and helpful at all times .

Great location and spacious rooms”

We recently stayed at the Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima in a twin room with an extra bed. The size of the rooms for Japan was amazing, we had space for our bags as well as room to sit (other than the beds!). Quiet hotel, great location within walking distance of major attractions. The view from the room was amazing, directly looking out onto Hiroshima castle. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The best of the best in Hiroshima at a great price ”

The room in Royal Rihga is much bigger than normal hotel rooms in Japan. There are even a dressing table and a dining table. Also there is plenty of space in the bathroom too and I love the big counter top space for my toiletries. The shower has great water pressure. Staff are smart and attentive. We have never been that impressed by a hotel in any cities in Japan and especially with the price we booked through Agoda. It was only around usd90 per night for a standard twin room. What's more. Our room has the view overlooking the Hiroshima Castle. We couldn't possibly find a better hotel with the price we paid.

Great American style and perfect location!”

This is the first time using Agoda, which was recommended from a coworker. The site was so easy to use and I was able to research several hotels available. I found Rihga Royal for a great price and location in Hiroshima. My friends and I left as satisfied as could be. We felt we just left the best hotel in NYC. I will definitely use Rihga Royal via Agoda every weekend I am in the area!

rihga is a underestimated hotel, though it is really a good one. by comparing with several other hotels, i believe it's the best choice, becasue it's located at the complex consisting of bus center, sogo department store, and pesca, where can be seen as the heart of hiroshima. in addition, its single room is the biggest one of the hotels i ever live in japan. unfortunately, rihga does not reveal all of these advantages on its website. more worse, some information is incoorect. for instance, it is free to use wifi at rihga, but its website tell us it will cost you at least extra jpy per day. this could be very unfair for the potential customers to select rihga as the first priority.

Hotel of the good old days”

My experience at Royal Rihga was a great way to start my 8 days Japan trip! Location was right next to bus station, lobby was spacious & nicely decorated, Svc was excellent and room was so impressive with unblocked view of Hiroshima Castle! Hotel is right next door to Sogo, Parcela & AQA malls, short stroll to Peace Park.

Exceptional”

Stayed at Rihga Royal for three nights. Very friendly staff, toiletries and products were very generous. Had a lovely view over Hiroshima Castle. Close to bus stops for the tourist loop buses and within easy walking distance of major tourists spots. We really enjoyed our time there.

Great location”

The best thing about Rihga Royal is its location. It is 5 mins walk from Hiroshima Castle, 10 mins walk (or catch free sightseeing bus) to the A-Bomb peace park and right above Atram line station The hotel has an impressive lobby. The staff all speak good english and are very courteous and helpful The room was a bit smallish compared to other hotels in Japan. The beds are comfortable. There is a mini fridge and hot water kettle but there is no coffee or tea The batrooms look dated and needs upgrade. The towels are thin and small They have a bar on 32nd floor but it arranged such that you dont get any view of the city. We skipped it. We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants in the hotel because there are plenty of good places to eat around the hotel

Excellent hotel with amazing service”

A wonderful hotel. The staff were extremely gracious. A beautiful room overlooking the Hiroshima castle. Easy access to the sites, shopping and restaurants. If i ever come back to Hiroshima I would definitely stay here and will look for other Rihga hotels as I travel.

Excellent hotel overall!”

We enjoyed our stay at Rihga Royal. The room was clean, spacious and had fantastic views. It is well placed for tourists, being very close to Peace Park and tram lines which will take you most places. There are many restaurants within walking distance or you can eat at restaurants in the hotel. Gym and pool are expensive and cost extra.

Wonderful staycation ”

We had a lovely time at RIHGA. It’s at downtown Hiroshima, everything you need is just short walk around. The staffs are helpful. We’re planning to have a night cap at the sky lounge , overlooking the city lights of Hiroshima . But we didn’t know they closes at 10:30. We thought at least they would stay open until midnight. Oh well, we still had a wonderful time. And we’ll be back again, we’ll make sure this time to have a nightcap at the sky lounge before it closes.

Rated A on location and view”

The hotel is about 10-15 minute cab ride from Hiroshima train station. It is the perfect location for all touristy activities, within 10-15 walking distance to the peace memorial, dome, museum, castle. For foodies, there are many restaurants around the hotel to feast on and for shoppers, many department stores including high-end name brand stores to choose from. The local train station is underground, convenient to go to the Miyajima ferry station. The hotel has a nice lobby, with very welcoming staff. The front desk staff are all very helpful and they communicate well. Our room was on the 25th floor with a view of the Hiroshima castle, highly recommended. There's plenty of space to move around in the room even with triple bed occupancy. It has a large size bathroom, with strong water pressure. The manager and Chief Sommelier, YOSHITAKA UCHIDA, and his staff, made our Father's day celebration at Restaurant Chambord a very memorable dining experience. Mr.Uchida and his staff provide

Very Convenient hotel near all major sighteseeing spots in Hiroshima”

This is a Very Convenient hotel near all major sighteseeing spots in Hiroshima. Comfortable rooms with excellent breakfast buffet (delicious !) but same food every day for the last 6 days. Our room at high floor overlooking the Hiroshima Castle and the city of Hiroshima, which was excellent and splendid. The location is 2 mins walk to Hiroshima Bus station which has all transportations needed to all the japan major cities and airport express. The hotel is near to Sogo and major shopping arcades. The one weakness is that only 2 electric plugs available in the room. Other than that the hotel is excellent.

Very Nice Hotel, Great Location”

The Rihga Royal Hotel in Hiroshima is a wonderful hotel for a in city getaway. We got a room with three beds which fit the three of us nicely. It's too bad the pool is an extra Y3,100. I wish pools in Japan weren't extra.

A Lot of Class”

This is a really great place to be at when you visit Hiroshima. It is a 6 minute walk to the Historic "Dome" and the museums that surround the site. If I return to this area, I will again stay at the Rihga Royal Hotel.

Fantastic stay with great location ”

We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. It is in an upscale area with lots of shopping, restaurants, and right by the Museum of Art and the sightseeing tour bus on the JR line that takes the JR Rail Pass. It was super convenient to get to all of the major sites and the Hiroshima station using that sightseeing bus. You can get to the hotel right from the Hiroshima JR station using this bus as well. Staff was very polite and housekeeping is great. The toiletries provided were extensive and top notch including even hair wax for men. Loved the hotel!

Wonderful room--wonderful view--wonderful staff.”

After 4 1/2 hours on the train from Tokyo, we were completely happy to settle in to the beautiful view--front window with additional side window. The bed was very comfortable; the room was well arranged, with small table in front of window. Lovely staff. And the breakfast was unbelievably varied and delicious. We think it's important for all people, certainly all Americans, to spend a little time in Hiroshima. The reality of the bombing remains as a reminder of what we ought never to do again. The gentle breezes, the tree foliage just emerged--Hiroshima is a lovely place to be--even as it is a testimony to the unspeakable destruction of the bomb. From the hotel, it was very convenient to get the ferry over to Miajima, a sacred island from time out of mind. The great "floating" torii gate was dramatic even in low tide. Although the hotel is western rather than Japanese style, it was a lovely place to stay and we would definitely recommend it--and return.

Amazing Hotel/Views/Hospitality”

This hotel was amazing. Fantastic views out either side of the hotel, but we had an amazing view of Hiroshima Castle. The room was larger than I expected. The staff treated my family and children fantastically. We brought breakfast items each night from the bakery in the grocery store next door and brought them back. So close to everything - we used the street car to get to Miyajima, but walked to everything else we went to in Hiroshima. Perfect location!

Highly reccomended choice for Hiroshima”

i'd happily reccomend the rr hotel for a stay in hiroshima. the main tourist draws of peace memorial park, the dome etc. are within easy strolling distance, as is the entertainment district so you're spoilt for choice with eating, drinking and shopping. the tram stop is just a couple of blocks away to get anywhere else. it is linked to a big shopping mall next door and seemed to have good restuarant options, which i didn't have the time to try. staff were very polite and helpful, which from my experience is a recurring theme throughout japan. the rooms are very comfortable and spacious. only minor nag for me was the lack of wi-fi in the rooms. it does have lan cable access but as wi-fi is available in other rr hotels, and probably would have expected considering price.
