met our needs
location, staff cooperation, price
This one night stop over met our needs. We had an early air port flight and this location was within half an hour of Ben Gurion. Fair priced and comfortable.

no swimming pool ;o(
very good and safe parking facilities, kitchenette in room, quiet room
One of the reasons we chose to stay at this hotel, is the mentioning of a swimming pool on the roof on their website. To our disappointment this pool seems to be 'under construction' which was unfortunate for the kid.... another thing is the isareli tax that was added to my bill although i do not live in israel, the receptionist had her monologue, no argument was tolerated...the room is clean and quiet, good facilities and large. for business travellers its a great hotel. we have not had the breakfast so i cant give any feedback on it.

Stayed four days in this hotel.
Old, dirty, and noisy.
My stay first 2 nights with standard room, and 3rd night should be Junior Suite, but hotel didn't give me J suite, and I paid Agoda higher price for the 3rd night but hotel told me no room. All my friends told me I was given wrong price to stay in this hotel, and I wouldn't recommend to any one who travel to Israel.

quiet, reasonably priced hotel in Ramat Gan
convenient for me (business in diamond district), great staff, nice restaurant for a buffet
for israel, it was nice for the money. the free breakfast buffet was great, by anyone's standards. the bathroom, on the other hand, was not so great (no washcloths, no bar soap or shampoo, very low-water toilets), but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean (for the most part; the sofa was old and stained). some decent, cheap, quaint restaurants in the neighborhood for the adventurous traveler. really nice bakeries in the area, too. business lounge was not conducive at all to business, but they apparently have free beer.

Not great, but quite good
No-frills comfort, lovely breakfast
i've stayed at rimonim optima several times. the rooms are comfortable, though not luxurious. the location (in ramat gan, the next town over from tel aviv) means that the rates are lower than typical tel aviv hotels. the internet is free and the breakfast is huge and delicious. and they leave a box of six tiny free chocolates on your pillow! only one thing to remember: if you want a wake-up call, you are advised to ask for it in person at the reception desk; on one stay, i phoned in a wake-up call request and was not awakened.
