Ristorante Hotel Falchetto is in set at the top of the hill in Brunate, a 15-minute walk from the cable car to Como and the shores of Lake Como. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the lake. Parking is free. All simply furnished in traditional mountain style, rooms at Hotel Falchetto have wood-beamed ceilings, along with wood floors and walls. They all have cable TV and a private bathroom. The restaurant specialises in Como and Lombardy dishes. Meals are served in the cosy dining room with fireplace.

The hotel was relaxing and peaceful. We were also permitted to bring our dog. The owners and staff took interest in our needs whilst staying at the hote.

Beautiful location - bonkers route to find!”
The stay, when we got to the hotel was very nice. Big rooms in characterful building. The journey to find it, however, was utterly ridiculous (including No-Entry signs that were only active on Bank Holidays)(Good if you read Italian!) The Hotel is on top of the steep sides of Lake Como on the edge of the village of Brunate. Your SatNav may find it - but Google Maps doesn't know where it is. Thankfully there is the Funicular Railway that goes directly into Como, but is still a 2½km walk back into the village.
