Double Room with Lake View
Stayed 1 night in September 2017
Great place. Nice food. Clean rooms. But unable to handle issues with loud/drunk guest groups. ”
This place is a preferable location (due to the proximity to Sofia) for a nice spa weekend or just a time for relax while enjoying the unique lake view. The rooms are spacious and clean, the food is really nice and rich. The SPA area is great! There is a big indoor pool which is great for swimming, but unfortunately wearing a swimming hat is mandatory. If you did not bring one you'll need buy it from the hotel. There is also a big outside pool, but is is paid, extremely cold water and its facilities are rather old, bringing memories of the old communist era.
The only problem and not a small one we have to endure is that the hotel management was completely unable to to handle the issue with drunk noisy groups of guests who screamed and laughed loudly at 3am down on the outside tables. I had to call the reception 3 times between 3am and 3.40am with no effect whatsoever and finally to close the balcony door and sleep with earplugs. Not a good night rest unfortunately.
