Wow, we loved their gorgeous view overlooking the Nile, seeing the sun rise off our balcony and the sunset from their comfy rooftop lounge area. It doesn’t get any better. We liked to so much we extended our stay from 5 night to 9 nights. And hats off to the super helpful & always charming staff: Ahmed makes super healthy breakfasts & is always improving things. Owner Mohamed is the welcoming & kind owner with great suggestions for local guides, exceptional restaurants, ATMs & anything else you need. Their offered transfer service from East Bank is handy & reasonable, the local ferry is nearby & a bargain, we used it often to go between East & West Bank. Apartments have comfy beds & furniture, plenty of hot water & even a portable heater if it’s chilly (we arrived during a January cold snap.) It’s easy to order takeaway from their in-house restaurant. In summary, it’s a very good value for the price and quality. Would definitely stay again.

This has been one of the best places I’ve ever stayed . We received a warm greeting with drinks on the rooftop, where there are amazing views of the Nile. We felt very comfortable there. The breakfast was traditional with good choices and fresh. The owner arranged tours and transportation for us at very good prices, we had been quoted higher outside of the hotel. Overall we had a fantastic stay at Nile Residence we will definitely return if we ever come to Luxor again!

Nile Residence apartments are huge and offer everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay. the views are amazing, breakfast is very complete and varied, and people who run it helped us every step of the way. An amazing place for a great stay in Luxor!

wifi was not so great in the bedroom, but worked well in the kitchen and terrace areas.

We felt in love with this place. You will feel home easily. Rooms are spacious and light and all of them have a beautiful view to the other side of the Nile. But what made our stay exceptional was the Nile Residence team. All of them are very attentive and kind. We will definitly come back and can recommend to anybody to stay at this place. You will have a great time in Luxor.

Nile residence is a fantastic place to stay, the rooms are spacious and clean and have gorgeous river views. Mohammed the owner goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and is a great source of information about Egypt, highly recommended.

- Big apartment, one bedroom, living room and kitchen. Balcony with view over the Nile and Luxor - Clean, comfortable beds, big bathroom with shower and bathtub - Very nice staff, simple but good traditional breakfast on the rooftop of the adiacent building -Very late check in was possible, owner was expecting us and was very welcoming even though we arrived later than scheduled because of a train delay and a mixup with the taxi - Good experience with taking a tour from them for visiting the attractions on the west bank. In the end the owner was the one that drove us arround the sites and he was very helpfull and nice - Late chek out was also possible as we had a late train and they allowed us to relax a bit and shower after a full day of visiting
