River North hotels & accommodations

I am not sure what I should expect for 4-star hotel. Compared to my previous hotel without stars, this hotel has no bath tub, nor coffee machine. Room space is smaller but has every necessary things. Air condition can be set in a few range of temperature, but this is understandable because Chicago is normally cold. There was water drop in shower room, so I heard the so...

It was beyond our exceptions! From the front desk, to the staff and amenities. The location is perfect too! We love going to Bandera's for dinner and it was about 5 blocks away. It's a short walk to the riverwalk and the best Art Museum in the World. My husband and I attended the Gaugin lecture there and enjoyed the special exhibit immensely. The Kenzie hotel had ...

As the title suggests, it's located downtown in River North, within walking distance to a great number of cafes, restaurants, and bars. It's also not too far from the river, and has a couple of stations close by as well. So if you're visiting Chicago, this is a sweet spot to be nestled at.

Considering I was not booked into the hotel when I had paid up front with Agoda, I was most impressed with the front desk in sorting problem quickly ( just as well they were not full.) However hotel was great, in an ideal location very short walk to magnificent mile, clean room and really pleased with the whole stay, the adjoining restaurant is very good and do a brea...

Stayed in the city one night for fun. The I/O lounge offered a great view of the skyline even when it was cold outside - very comfortable in the enclosed part. I can see how this would be a great attraction in warmer weather, but we enjoyed it even in cold weather. We went there for pre-dinner cocktails. Our server, Alexis, was really great. Friendly, engaging, a...

Fantastic suite with separate bedroom, couch and TV and kitchen with microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from North Michigan Avenue, with all the shops and bus routes, and was within reasonable walking distance of the downtown loop as well. staff were fantastically friendly as well.

great location. great staff who was extremely friendly. much better than another 4 star location that I stayed in subsequently. free wifi was also a bonus. great bed - so much so i overslept and missed breakfast (altho, i had just landed from a 20hr+ flight from sydney). given the free internet access, i think overall, i would have preferred to stay here for the ne...

Outdated hotel facilities; for example, loud AC vent, no nice frameless shower stall, old TV with limited cable channels (no HBO channels). Internet is not free (cost you $14.95 daily if not a member directly booked through the hotel). There are other better choices of hotels along the Chicago River.

Acme hotel was a real pleasant surprise. The staff were really friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The hotel location is brilliant, just two corners from magnificent mile and not far from the Chicago river walk. Its close to lots of bars and restaurants too, with the pizzeria that created the deep dish pizza on the same block. Would definitely recommend ...

great location - right in between the north (magnificent mile) and downtown (loop) along the main river way providing fantastic views. one of the few hotels that offer parking facilities at an affordable a day with unlimited exit/entry. walking distance (5mins) to the ctr red line (merchandise mart) station and 20mins to practically anywhere else. value for m...

They often say third time’s the charm, well in this case, first time’s the charm. This is the first time we stayed here. Everyone provided top notch, attentive service, especially Rosemary in Housekeeping. This is a boutique modern European style hotel. I loved our room. We chose the king suite, and the room is extremely spacious. The bed was comfortable, the shower wa...

My family had a wonderful stay. My kids made a fuss on checking out as they enjoyed their stay SO much my youngest actually cried when we had to leave. The housekeeping was FANTASTIC. They went way above what they should do by even keeping the toys that my kids strewn all over the room and arranging our personal things very neatly and nicely on the tables. We are frequ...

We had a great experience! We had 13 adults-4 rooms. They were able to get us next to one another! Was a great weekend. We were able to use the large tables in the lobby for a group dinner and games. Our only complaint was the hot tub was not very large. Staff was very friendly and helpful! We’ll be back again! Thank you!

The hotel was clean, modern & spacious. Friendly staff. The location was everything, close by a lot of restaurants, shopping district & attractions. We were lucky with the weather too! We definitely enjoyed Chicago & will definitely booked at AC Hotel again.

Incredibly stuck up server behind checkout did not believe my co-worker had already paid for the car. She had and it was then taken off my check out bill. No apology or acknowledgment of this oversight. It doesn’t take much to be nice and it ruins it for your other hardworking and friendly staff. Would not stay here again based on this. Price versus service is not wort...
