The facilities like ages never been maintained and there were swarms of ants marching in our room.

Good”
Poorly maintained, the toilets and showers were not really clean. The staff was nice but could improve their English.

Above average”
Value of Money is good. What you pay is what you get. The staff are very noisy especially the Lady. I hope they can clean and fix the common bathrooms. Other than that, all is good.

Most dirty hotel ever.”
NOTHING was cleaned, obvious since moth. We arrived late, no chance to change. Staff looks helpful, does nothing. Laundry cheap, if you like to get your not half wet clothing back in a bag, even not folded a little. Mosquitos have free entry into the aircon bungalows, nothing against them, except a spray. No remote control for aircon. Former pool is a dirty concrete-hole. It needs new management, or better: it needs management... What a pity for this former nice resort!

A shame”
The worst place I know in Asia, and the most dirty in Laos. Pathetic welcome. No body takes care of you. When you ask something, staff is just able to say : we don't speak english... It looks like staff is only waiting for the hotel closure...

I would never recommend this place! ”
Nothing positive to say about this place. Unfriendly staff that doesn’t speak English nor French - and you can’t talk any sense with them. The place is dirty and in default: the doors and windows can’t be locked properly and the light doesn’t work at all. We felt unsafe and not welcomed. Therefore we found another place. Stay away....

Very dirty room, dirty place, inhospitable staff that doesn’t speak English nor French, bad Wi-Fi”
Very dirty room, dirty place, inhospitable staff, horrible Wi-Fi. The place feels unsafe and the bungalow can’t be locked; the door handle was broken. No basics in regard to (hand)soap and toilet paper. The light wasn’t working at all. You couldn’t talk any sense with the staff. Eventually we choose another place to stay.

Unbelievable hotel”
i stumbled across this hotel, which i would actually even deem as relaxing as a resort, online. when i got to vang vieng, nobody knew where this was, because the location is tucked right in alongside the river, which makes for the best location after a whole day of tubing. every day after tubing, my friend and i would just float down to the end of the river, pull ourselves up and out of the water right at our cabin's doorstep, then we could conveniently grab a nap/shower before the night fun began. also, this hotel has a few surprises that no other hotels in vang vieng provide, such as a pool, and some pets you can go see in their cages. the distance of this place to the restaurants/main area is barely a five minute walk.

Best location, really nice people, pet monkey :)”
vang vieng is the most amazing place in the world. staying at this hotel only adds to the trip we had. the views from the bungalows are amazing, the owner is really friendly. this place is madness and for people wanting to have fun stay here we payed not much money at all per night and its worth it by far. walking distance to everything.

Incredible Hotel”
i loved everything about this hotel from the dollar value to the comfort of having your own personal cabin in which to sleep. other than the beating of the outdoor club music that you can hear faintly in the distance from the island (you can hear this at basically every hotel in vang vieng), you will have complete peace and quiet to reenergize yourself for tubing during the day. it doesn't matter what kind of vacation you are looking for, this hotel is perfect.

Amazing place!! best we've seen in vang vieng!!”
we booke one night originally and have now been here 6 nights!! vang vieng is hot for the party scene and this is just far enough to be close to the party but not too close!! the pool is a massive bonus for when you wake up hot and hungover!!

Good value!”
Good value for your money with simple rooms and facilities. Pay a little bit more for a good bungalow with a private bathroom. The property is not crowded with plenty of space for activities. It's located on the northern edge of the main strip, so far enough away from all the craziness that is Vang Vieng that you can sleep, but close enough to walk everywhere.

Great location but service could be improved”
we stayed in this hotel the first night we reached laos, before departing to vangvieng the next day. i like the room cleanliness, and hotel is within walking distance to attractions in vientiane. there is a great restaurant nearby, le provencal, which serves great pizzas! tuk tuks are ever ready in front of the hotel in case you prefer not to walk. we opt for standard room, everything was fine with the room except we find it a bit small. we could upgrade to bigger rooms by paying more but we decided not to. met the hotel manager, ani, she was friendly and gave us a few pointer on our trip to vang vieng and luang prabang. the only setback about this hotel was that we find the hotel staff not as friendly and helpful as the manager herself. we get a feeling that the hotel staff are out to make a quick bucks through recommending to us tuk tuks which costs us double by what we pay for if we get our own. apart from that, they are not very proactive and keen to assist when we asks for help with our luggages. we stayed in the same hotel when we returned from luang prabang. we were quite disappointed that there was no breakfasts served to us when we had to leave for airport at 7am the next day. the reason gave by the hotel staff was breakfast are served only at 8am. we were not quite happy with that as we have already informed them a day earlier that we need to have breakfast early before we depart at 7am. given a choice, i would come back here to stay again because of the room cleanliness and location, but the service need a lot a lot of improvement and to be more customer focused.

A grand grunge-alow for those who can't afford a bungalow”
Riverside is a bit off the beaten path but the bungalows are quiet which you want in a town with a party reputation. Not as posh as some of the frou-frou places in town, but definitely worth the price. Staff is awesome and can arrange bus trips and kayak tours. Note: The less you pay for accommodations in Loas, the greater the language barrier.

Beautiful location”
the hotel is situated in the main tourist part of the town close to loads of bars and restaurants. unfortunately you can also hear the music booming from nearby riverside bars late at night and even during the day. however you will find that all the hotels and b&bs have this problem. the little bungalows are lovely and well laid our surrounded by trees. the swimming pool is very small, but nice to cool off in. only breakfast is served on the site, although it was fine.

Simple accommodation in nice location”
Stayed here for 3 nights on trip through SE Asia. Wooden bungalow was simply decorated, but perfectly adequate for my needs. Few facilities on site, but liked the location and the grounds, which looked onto the carste mountains not far away. Cows would wander around, the bells round their necks clanging. Could walk to restaurants in a minute or two but was glad to not be staying in the town itself as the setting of the bungalows was much nicer if you like rustic. Shared minivans to Luang Prabang and Vientiane will collect you from this hotel, as will shared taxis coming from bus station which is about 1km outside the town. Don't think I'd have liked Vang Vieng as much if I'd not stayed here, as the town itself is nothing much.
