Nice Boutique Hotel Spoiled By Outside Noise”
Hotel 108 is a small stylish boutique hotel centrally located just steps from the riverfront in Phnom Penh. The rooms are spacious, with large bathrooms and bathtubs. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, from the front-desk staff to the housekeepers. The rooms are very clean and the beds are large and comfortable and the bathroom linens spotless. Breakfast is served in their Fish restaurant, located a couple steps down from the hotel itself. They serve a variety of western and Asian breakfasts, with the included Western breakfast being the standard bacon, eggs, toast, and very good Illy coffee. The only drawback to the hotel is that, at least for the deluxe front-facing rooms, there is very loud noise [blasting music and speaking] infiltration from the nite-market that takes place on weekends in the plaza directly in front of the hotel. The street-corner in front of the hotel is used by inter-city buses as a pick-up and drop-off point and the sound of idling buses also carries into the room. Overall, the level of noise is such that I can't recommend this hotel as there are many others in Phnom Penh to choose from that don't suffer from this problem.

Great Little Hotel”
River 108 is situated just round the corner from the strip of bars which line the river, meaning that the location is excellent if you are looking to be in easy access of the bars and restaurants. The one downside to this is the fact that it is quite loud and this can interrupt sleep in the early hours. There is an eye for detail in the room layout and each part of the hotel seems to have unique, arty pieces which make it feel one of a kind. The features within the rooms themselves are very high quality: comfortable bed, impressive bath/ shower and high spec television. The staff are excellent and as friendly as one would expect from Cambodia. We never once had to open a door for ourselves and had service with a smile the entire time. The breakfast was a little different to what one comes to expect - exchangeable vouchers redeemable at an independent bar around the corner (1 minute walk away). The food selection was quite limited but was good quality. I would definitely go back and it tops my list of affordable hotels in Phnom Penh.

Excellent location, clean and well appointed rooms”
this hotel was excellent. we were pleased to be so close to all the riverfront restaurants and culture. we were directly opposite (overlooking) the phnom penh night markets which were very loud but we found this added to the ambience rather than anything else. the night markets are on friday and saturday until 12am and sunday until 11pm. the hotel decor was lovely and the room exceptionally clean and spacious. the staff were friendly and accommodating in general, though not perfect. the breakfast choice was limited but the coffee was great! we would definitely recommend this hotel to visitors to phnom penh. the massage place "sohan's? place" just around the corner was great. bodia day spa was outstanding. the riverside bistro was great for eats and the veiyo tonle which is non-profit restaurant was also great. the mekong river is great for 75c beers and the fcc a must for sun-downers.

Spacious room, wonderful balcony and nice people”
I have finally found an hotel that is truly meets my needs. My work takes me all over the world and my hotel experience goes from the Oriental in Bangkok, the Savoy in London to Pedro's guesthouse for wayward fleas in Copacabana, Bolivia. The River 108 is in my top 5. Great location, good restaurants, including their own 'Fish' restaurant, 20m from the front door, where guests have breakfast, plenty of nightlife and easy access to temples, palaces and museums Staff, as is usual in Cambodia, are most helpful and having the restaurant adjacent to the hotel, gives the feeling of staying in a private house. My new home from home in Phnom Penh!

Fantastic boutique hotel!”
We loved this hotel! From the outside we were a little apprehensive but as we walked up the stairs to our room we were very pleasantly surprised! There are complaints that there is no elevator but we stayed on the 1st floor so walking up one flight of stairs is no big deal. Our room was big and beautiful! Our bed was comfortable, the bathroom was awesome, and the breakfast was a voucher at the restaurant next door which is a great concept for the hotels that don't serve their own food! The hotel is right across from the night market and right next to the river which has tons of restaurants and shops to peruse! It is also right across from where all of the buses depart so if you are taking a bus to Siem Reap or any other location you don't have to deal with a tuk-tuk. If we go back to Phnom Penh we will 100% stay here again!

Great little boutique hotel”
Unfortunately we only staid here one night as we made our way to Siem Reap within 24 hours of arriving in Phon Penh. The hotel is great, it is beautifully decorated inside, the beds are comfortable, the shower is pretty cool (you get some great soap too), and I also recall a pretty big television in the room. The staff are always very helpful and welcoming and speak english very well. Our room had a small window which was blocked out (I suspect it opened onto some back alley or something) but we didn't really mind as the room was really fantastic. For breakfast you have to go to the little cafe next door with a voucher, there's no huge buffet but you get coffee, a juice and a selection of croissants, brioche etc. to choose from. If you need a hotel for Phnom Penh, this one comes highly recomended!!

River 108 Hotel, Phnom Penh, Cambodia”
We stayed here to reduce costs as we stayed at the Bougainvillier Hotel for our first time in Phnom Penh, we wouldn’t even begin to compare as the two appeal to different customer requirements. This hotel is typical of the up and coming Boutique style hotels offering ever improving accommodation to travellers who requires a little more than the budget range of accommodation we have all frequented in the past. It was well appointed (dare I say functional in a stylish way) and ideally located in the heart of the best area to be in. We would stay here again.

Exceptional”
The hotel is located just across Phnom Penh Night Market (30 second walk), across the riverside (30 second walk), and near Royal Palace Park (around 10 minutes walk). It is also along a street of restaurants so there won't be a problem for a place to eat no matter what time as the restaurants are mostly open throughout the night because of the night market. The hotel looks a little old and please note that there are no stairs but it wasn't a problem for us at all. The rooms are bigger than what we expected. We didn't expect such a big bed! We have a comfortable stay and we would particularly like to commend the staff for being friendly and accommodating to our questions every time. We requested breakfast a little bit earlier than their usual breakfast time because of an early tour and they accommodated our request with a smile on their faces. It might be a little confusing to look for the hotel in between the restaurants but it was worth it.

nice boutique hotel”
The location is very near to the riverside, and most of the attractions. Weekend night market is just in front of the hotel. The room is very cozy, beautifully done, well sound prove, the standard of it is higher then most of the 3 stars hotel. The receptionist is very polite and attentive. And my husband and i were very lucky to meet the owner of the hotel at the lobby, he even brought us to china town personally( when we told him that we had no idea where to have our late lunch), and he recommended us all the delicious Malaysian style cooking. He even gave us some useful travel guides to travel around Phnom Penh. Thanks River 108, for giving such a wonderful experience during our 3 days stay in the city. We will definitely choose this hotel for our next visit.

Relax, Enjoy, LOving It!”
I love this hotel. The room is so beautifully designed and spacious. They upgraded our room for F.O.C. and all the staffs, regardless morning or night shifts staff are also so helpful and friendly and always greeted us with smile! Opposite the hotel is the weekend night market and you can hear the locals performing songs on stage. The side is just the Silosowith Avenue for sight-walking in the evening. Nearby a lot of good night bars & restaurants. Even the breakfast is good though limited choice. And of course the relax balcony to have city view and some side view of the Mekong River. We will definitely stay in this hotel again when we come to visit Phnom Penh:)

Quiet, modern, central - an oasis!”
This is an absolutely lovely, hidden away hotel in Phnom Penh! It is reasonably priced, absolutely lovely, has fast, free WIFI and includes a delicious breakfast. You can even order from the neighbouring Fish restaurant to your room! Divine! Right near the riverfront, the night market and a few of Phnom Penh's nicest restaurants. I highly, highly recommend this hotel!

River 108 is great”
My original choice in Phnom Penh was the California 2, and I'd still go back to check out their new venue. But Jim was all full up, so instead we booked nearby in the 12 room River 108, which is at the name suggests on Street 108 adjoining the riverfront near the night market and the ferry point. It's another great accommodation option in Phnom Penh and I wasn't disappointed at all. Suits everyone from families to singles.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in Great Location”
While I am not a fan of Phnom Penh itself, this hotel was very good. Elegant rooms and good service throughout. Very Central with many riverside restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. Food in hotel itself is good but that in some of the riverside bars can be "odd". Free Wi-fi throughout hotel and free desk-top access in lobby. Free Wi-fi is common in PP and in Siem Reap so bring a lap top and/or smart 'phone. Local SIMs readily available in town (2g) with 3G also available.

the great 108”
My wife and I spent two days in this delightful hotel close to the river and to the hustle and bustle of riverside Phnom Penh. River 108 has been designed with a love of the Art-Deco period as well as the French Colonial period. It therefore has interest for those who like and enjoy architecture. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the room service is excellent as it comes from a restaurant just around the corner, which is where you have breakfast in he morning.Part of the same company? Again very good staff. Highly recommended.

Hotel has great and large nicely designed rooms and great location on riverside. Designer Hotel with excellent value for money. Would truly recommend for stay in Phnom Penh and book it again. No own restaurant but plenty of nice restaurants in that area to choose from. Book it you will not be disappointed. Recommend river view room with nice balcony.

River 108 Hotel is located in Road 108 of Phnom Penh which has great (night) entertainment spots. The rooms of this boutique hotel are spacious with large flat-screen TV and king-size beds.

classy & chic hotel”
River 108 Hotel boasts a fantastic location along the Tonle Sap river. The decor is chic & stylish, and proximity to Sisowath Quay, Wat Phnom & night market is unbeatable. Polite, helpful & professional staff ensured a pleasant stay without anything going missing from my room (unlike other Phnom Penh hotels). A little noisy in the evenings because of the night market, but the fantastic Fish restaurant downstairs more than makes up for it!

A bit of modern luxury near the action...”
The River 108 Hotel is a small, beautifully appointed establishment, practically across the road from the very pleasant Phnom Penh river esplanade, ideal for a morning and/or evening stroll, and close to many tourist points of interest. Across the road there's a night market offering plenty of arts and crafts and food, although there are lots of great-value restaurants in the area. The rooms at the River 108 are elegant, clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished, as are the common areas. There's fast internet downstairs if you don't have a wifi device (and I didn't). A pleasant enough breakfast is served at the nouveau-style Fish restaurant/bar a couple of doors down the street. This restaurant also has a decent dinner menu (fish features prominently, of course) and offers Happy Hour beer to its patrons, who can sit in a sheltered outdoor area or in an air-con interior. The hotel staff were always friendly, helpful and efficient. What more could you ask for?

Fantastic location and surprisingly quiet”
Very nice hotel, right in the heart of Phnom Penh. Our room had double doors and could only hear the odd horn or motorbike ride past and slept very well. Breakfast was at the restaurant 2 doors down but they do deliver room service also. The room was really spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

NIce Boutique Hotel Next to the River”
This hotel was a good value and a peaceful break from walking around Phnom Penh. I was a little concerned about the noise after reading the reviews, but we did not have any problems. The rooms appear to be either new or recently renovated. The breakfast was really good too. I strongly recommend this hotel.
