My stay at the Riverview was great. It was my forth visit to Taree and this motel was the best. Looking forward to my next visit.

Good Budget priced accommodation”
Homely, adequate well priced accommodation conveniently located on main road into Taree from the north, and close to shops, restaurants, sporting facilities. General cleanliness was OK however cobweby and dusty windows in both room and restaurant was disappointing. Most friendly management. The pool is attractive for the hot weather as was the adequate air conditioning. An attractive complimentary breakfast in the restaurant was an unexpected bonus for us. An easy walk down the street was a welcome relief after a day in the car.

Clean and Friendly”
We stayed at the Motel to attend a motorcycle event at Old Bar which took up the whole day so we didn't get an opportunity to try the Pool or Restaurant but both looked very inviting. The location isn't within walking distance of central Taree but we also didn't get an opportunity to have a look at what was in the general location, but we were happy enough being there and wouldn't hesitate to use it again if we return to Taree.

Great place to stay”
We had a great stay at the Riverview. Our day's drive from Brisbane was hard and we arrived late. The staff had our room ready for us when we arrived no problems. The room was quiet and we had a good nights sleep in a great bed. In the morning we awoke to the fantastic views available at the Riverview, a real surprise. Overall this place was a lucky find and I will look to stay there again in future.

I stayed here for business. Reasonably priced. Central location if working in Taree. Large room. Good tv. Older motel in need of a bit of tlc but fine for short stay. Staff were very friendly.

Disappointing ”
A disappointing 2 nt stay as, after reading the reviews, I was probably expecting a little more. Reception asked me how I would like to pay - I had already prepaid online with Agoda - but they seemed a little confused about this though very pleasant manner in dealing with the glitch. I had requested a ground floor room due a knee injury but had been allocated a1st floor - it was changed immediately and very efficiently as there was a vacant room. When I got to the room the water view out the main window was lovely though marred somewhat by the giant collection of spider webs covering 1/2 the window. Bed was very comfortable, shower pressure very ordinary, towels thin and cheap looking. My room was not made up after my first night which was surprising - but maybe housekeeping is a little slack as the carton of milk in the bar fridge had not been replaced from the previous guest and was open and used ( fortunately I had bought my own enroute). Apparently there was a complimentary breakfast available but no information about this was forthcoming on check in so I missed out and can't comment as to the standard. I don't think I would return again as Im pretty sure there would be better value for money properties available! My thought is that it is definitely overrated at 4* as didn't appear to have any out of the ordinary facilities - more like a 3* from my experience.

A great little half way stop”
We loved most things about this great, inexpensive place and it's certainly value for money. The owner is lovely and he was very accommodating when we had to reschedule our stay. Only to willing to move things around for us. The room was spacious and had a river view. We were grateful for the air con as it was a scorcher on Friday. The bed was large and comfy and the complimentary continental brekkie was a nice surprise. There is a pool too and its close to the town. We recommend this for a short stay. We will certainly return.

I really love this place. It’s remind me like a movie. First time that I stayed in motel. The room was clean. Bed is very comfortable. The room was big and there had single bed in the room. The view amazing shown the river view.

Good value for money, friendly staff”
Although this is a budget hotel, you will not feel so, it is comfortable and the river is just in front of you. Staff very friendly. I totally forgot that the room rate included the breakfast and just left like that, staff did not mention it when I checked in.

Perfect for our one night stopover roadtrip. Spacious room, unique layout with bathtub at the end of dining area, with big window overlooking river. My little boy loves it.
