        relaxing stay”
after a tiring few days touring xiamen island, our last stop was riyuegu hotspring resort. It was very relaxing dipping in their hotspring pools with the matching cold weather. We only stayed a night but would recommend to stay at least 2 nights so you can explore the adjacect hot spring resort which has more hotspring pools.

Just to remind everyone that the famous Riyuegu Hotspring theme park is actually on the other side of the road where the hotel is situated, you need to use the shuttle provided by the resort to get there, and the entrance is not included in the room rate.

Amazing resort. Nice room with hot spring bathtub. Outdoor mineral pools are available beside the swimming pool. Good food and great staff. Free shuttle bus to Xiamen Island ferry terminal. Need to take a cab to hotel in the city after that.

        Good for Family holiday”
Riyuegu Hotspring Resort is suitable for family holiday. Service is good, rooms are big, and has private hotspring bath in the room. The outdoor hotsprings are interesting with different pools offering different type of bath, e.g. herbal, Fish Spa, mist, etc. You just need to put on your swimming costume and start enjoying the various hotspring pools.

        Awesome hot spring center
Great. Definitely worth an excursion from Shanghai: about 1hour and half flight to find yourself in another world. The Hotel is well run, food is good and the link to the Hot springs (situated on the other side of the dual carriageway) is easy A very chilled-out place to spend some time.

Overall the hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable although the beds were a little bit hard (Classic Chinese bed) and the breakfast buffet was alright. If you're going to the hot springs I recommend just visiting the hot springs, no need to stay overnight at the hotel.

        Relaxing getaway”
My family and I enjoyed Riyuegu hot spring to the core. Maybe it is the timing - the place is not crowded at all. Every staff are so friendly, accomodating and welcoming. We had arranged for airport pick up so getting there is convenient. The only thing we didn't like about our visit was that smoking is allow almost anywhere in the resort and hotel.

When in Xiamen...a must place to visit!”
        Hotsprings, great staff and breakfast
Our stay in this resort was the best part of our trip to Xiamen! We were really pampered and experienced hotel great service. Despite communication gap all staffs are trying to be attentive and helpful with all our inquiries and needs. The hotsprings experience was so divine, food in the clubhouse area is so great not that expensive. After a very relaxing soak in different flavors of pools you can really feel the benefits it brought into your skin. You'll come out having a radiant and smooth skin. The comfy bed and fluffy pillow wrapped up our day perfectly!! breakfast buffet is so amazing. They have wide slections of western foods. Pools in the hotel is so big and they even have the outdoor hotsprings! Overall it was an experience for a lifetime and would really want to go back there!!

        Great service
We enjoyed our visit to Riyuegu resort very much. This hotel is run by the same operator as the resort and they run free shuttle between the two locations - which made things much simpler. It's a clean and beautiful hotel with great service too.

        Great place to relax”
Nice decor, great service, great swimming pool
Riyuegu Resort place is the perfect to relax and enjoy some peace. Living in China it is not always easy to find a place which is not too crowded and where you can relax, but this hotel completely matched my expectations. It is good for couples to go on a romantic weekend. The hotel decor is great, it is inspired by Thai culture. I stayed in a Premier room, it was very spacious and I enjoyed the private jacuzzi in the bathroom. The hotel has 2 restaurants and 2 bars, not very cheap but the food was very good. The best facilities in the hotel are the swimming pool, spa and hot spring. All very clean. Also the staff was very professional and nice. Everyone spoke a little bit of English and there are English sign all over the hotel, so it is definitely suitable for foreign tourist. The hotel is far from Xiamen city centre, but the hotel has a free shuttle bus service that runs every hour from the hotel to the city centre and back. Overall a great stay!

        Nice Stay and Service”
Free fruits/tea, nice buffet breakfast, free shuttle to hotspring park
we are couple traveling with our 80-year-old grandma. the hotspring park nearby (the free shuttle golf car takes u there in 3 min. drive) was the best among similar hotspring facilities in mainland, according to grandma. the service was great - seldom encountered in mainland. as we need to depart from airport at 7:45am and couldn't wait till the restaurant open, they packed the breakfast for us (2 full plastic boxes + fruit + milk for each!) and as hotel resident, basically no need to bring money/credit card onto the hotspring park/restaurants. just tell room number and show room access card. very nice chinese cuisine in restaurant. and value for money too.

there is hotspring inside the room
The people worked in there are nice. There is welcome fruit, cookies and drink coupon inside the room and the hotspring is excellent. The only things that is not so good is that you need to pay extra for the hotsprings the the hotspring garden. Not so much Variety of food can be selected as there are two restaurant inside the hotel and its quite expensive. The location is far, so no shops and resaturant near the hotel.

the hotspring and the counter staff
Service was pretty good, I stayed one night at the riyuegu suite which was awesome, the next day i changed to the premiere room which was still ok, the only downside was that it was located right at the end of the building. would recommend riyuegu if you are looking for a getaway from your stressful work. downside was that the receptionist was very busy handling your request due to the limited number of staffs thus waiting time was a little long but still bearable unless you are rushing for time.

Only place to eat is at the hotel. Chinese restaurant was being booked for certain function. Only option is the Western Restaurant. Could not find any food joint in the hotel vicinity. Took shuttle bus to city. To return to hotel shuttle provided is every hour. However if one miss the timing taxi operator are not too keen to pick up unless we top up or accept a pre-quoted price as hotel location is quiet and they may not be able to find a fare back to town.

Comfortable beds, service to hot springs, TV channels
riyuegu's service is great - unfortunately it doesn't stop some rude locals from pushing in before you during check-in and check-out. disappointing since i expected a 5-star hotel to be aware that this is very rude behaviour and would tell people to please line up. having your own personal hot spring is great in the room - except that there is no tv in the bathroom and the water is quite lukewarm, so a long dip isn't really all that attractive. also, the tub seems to accumulate black soot at the bottom that never washes away, making the bath appear dirty. the internet is not convenient...you can only connect via ethernet cord on the desk, there is no wifi in the rooms. don't fall into the trap of eating one of the hotel's buffets or using services at the hotel's spa - go across to the hot springs resort, open till midnight and avoid the 19% additional charge on top of services and food offered at the hotel. the hotel didn't make it clear if being a guest meant free entrance to the resort either - and i never found this out for myself as i was on a quick trip and only had time to go the hour after my check-out, so i had to pay the resort entrance fee anyway. the hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere - so if you're just looking for a one-day rejuvenation, don't stay at the hotel. the hotel is only really worth a stay if you plan to go to the resort for an extended stay.

        comfortable king size beds
the riyuegu hotel is about 35 min from xiamen by taxi, which costs about. however some taxi may charge extra as they may not have customers on the way back. the room is fairly new, with 2 king size beds which are not too soft (perfect for me). the pillows are way too flat though. bathroom has hotspring basin, but not a separate shower facility. makes you wonder if the basin is clean. if you are a hotel guest, you can use the pool and outdoor hotspring (separate for men and women)free of charge. however during our stay, there was not a drop of water in the outdoor hotspring. there is also an outdoor hotspring for soaking your feet. not much facility for children. the hotel is on the left side of the road as you reach riyuegu from xiamen. the side side is the hot spring park which looks like an amusement park. gets crowded during public holiday.
