Birthday Staycation”

I opted to book this hotel for my partner’s birthday because of good reviews. It did not disappoint! The room (Junior Suite) was situated in the corner of the building. We had the view of Manila Bay on one side and the Rizal Park and Quirino Grandstand on the other. We caught a glimpse of the fountain show and fireworks at the Manila Ocean Park and the fireworks at MOA. It was just awesome! Thr room itself was just elegant consistent with the classy ambiance of the whole building which is by the way the former Army Navy Club! Staff were very accomodating and the breakfast was good enough to fill me up until lunch time. I was looking for a filipino themed breakfast like the “silogs”, but I got more of Chinese food, which is good anyway. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for couples, families and even solo travelers.

Best stay I had”

I booked Rizal Park Hotel as a birthday gift for my fiance, knowing its location and great facilities. I'm happy to say that I was not disappointed and our stay exceeded our expectations. My fiance was surprised by the staff's kind gesture for his birthday! The hosting capabilities of Rizal Park Hotel is truly one for the books. The hotel offers a spectacular view of Manila Bay and the city of Manila and their gym equipment is well-maintained. Will stay here again.

Beautiful boutique heritage hotel!”

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this hotel. It used to be the old army navy club and it has been recently restored to a hotel. So because it's fairly new -the furniture, wallpaper, light fixtures, flooring, moldings, linens, etc. are pristine! The lobby and hallways are spacious but the rooms are quite small. We stayed in an ocean view room with a king bed. The mattress, pillows and linens were of good quality! We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the US embassy for my husband's visa renewal. The Rizal Park is literally in front of the hotel. We had merienda at the Manila Hotel which is just further across. It's also walking distance to Intramuros and the National Museum of Natural History.

Outstanding”

The fact that Rizal Park Hotel is an old building revamped to be a hotel made me want to stay as the place itself is a place of interest on its own. It’s a gated property and does bag scanning every entry, which we appreciated as it feels safer. Upon entry, it seemed like we’ve transported to another world. The place exudes a classy atmosphere, and was a feast to our eyes from the lobby, the hallways, up to our room. However, since construction is ongoing, we were welcomed by the smell of contact cement/adhesive at the lobby area. Check-in wasn’t the fastest, but acceptable. They’d require a deposit. The room itself was big with enough space to move around. Ample closet and drawer spaces for stuff. I love the floor design, but it’s cold. The bathroom area was huge and we had a tub, which my 8-yo niece appreciated since pool wasn’t available yet. The bed was comfy and pillows are fluffy. The TV was big as well, but the cable wasn’t working during our stay. This place is very ideal if you plan to really just relax. Although in the morning, we heard banging (like a concrete wall being knocked down) due to the ongoing construction, which guests might find annoying (we were preparing to checkout so it was ok). Food (ala carte) was good and breakfast was good as well with several options to choose from. Staff are courteous. Parking wasn’t a problem as well during our stay. It has a casino that is already operational, but it's in a separate building so it was not an issue. We considered extending our stay, if only we didn’t have an event to attend to. We’ll definitely be staying again, especially when everything else (like pool, etc) are up and running.

Happy and satisfied”

It was a great experience staying at this hotel. We chose this hotel because it was near Manila Ocean Park. The hotel overall is clean and not very busy. Those who like to take pictures will definitely enjoy this place because of its beautiful floors, famcy chandeliers and quiet ambience. The room is spacious with tv, ref, a usb port for your celphone charging. The room has its own internet connection which is satisfactorily fast. The staff are all smiles and are always willing to help. They have a roof top pool which oversees the Manila Bay. Overall, me and my husband are both happy with our stay

Gorgeous hotel”

Pros: location is a 5-minute walk to Manila Ocean Park and just across Rizal Park, very comfortable beds and pillows, good buffet spread for breakfast and dinner, very friendly and accomodating staff Cons: while the hotel is gorgeous and perfect for a quick getaway for adults, it could use a few more amenities for younger kids. i heard there was a pool that has yet to be operational so that would be a good thing. A play area for kids/toddlers would also be great.

Lovely location, beautiful interiors, nice staff”

The rooms were spacious, and the staff very accommodating. The hotel is relatively new, and the staff are young and are open to feedback. Housekeeping makes sure the hotel is spic and span. Good selection of food for the breakfast buffet. Great parking options in front. We arrived during rainy season, so we weren't able to see the sunset at Manila Bay :( We'd definitely go back because the rooms have an excellent view of the bay.

Classy....very nice hotel :-)”

We enjoyed our staycation at the Rizal Park Hotel. The place was classy and we liked the idea of playing the history of the hotel on TV; the info was very informative and my kids were like "ahhhh yun pala yun" (verifying what they have learned in school in their araling panlipunan subject). The room was clean and the ambiance was nice which is suited for a 4 or 5-star hotel. Over-all, my family and I were really satisfied and if given a chance, will definitely come back to RPH.

Worth a visit”

Good walking distance from the US Embassy and Manila Ocean Park, Luneta Park and the Manila Bay sunset. The food is pretty good and the rooms more than expected. Enjoyed the unlimited wings and pizza at the veranda. Looking forward to the extension and the pool that comes with it. Very old American touch. An oldie coming back in all its glory.

Great Service but facilities need improvement”

We stayed in the Rizal Park hotel for 3D2N as we had a company event at the ballroom and we had an appointment at the adjacent US embassy a day after. For an expensive 5-star hotel (at lesst Php 9000 per night on a club room), service was excellent, staff were courteous, location was good, availability of food choices was okay (more varieties recommended otherwise guests can have food delivered from nearby restos), and facilities needed improvement (e.g. shower needed to be running for 15 to 20 mins before hot water became available; on 2nd day, for more than half a day, there was no water at all. No prior comms sent to set guests'expectations. We requested water supply and staff was quick to deliver 2 pails of water for our toddler's bath and to clean her milk bottles. I wanted to use the sauna but I couldn't due to water shortage). I still recommend Rizal Park hotel though - could have been a great experience sans water interruption issue.

Lovely hotel”

Hotel has been beautifully restored but the new building was not yet open when we stayed there. We stayed in a Junior suit which was very quiet, spacious and clean. Coffee, tea and two small bottles of water provided in your room. Pool area was very nice with hot tub and lovely sea view. Breakfast buffet had a large variety of Filippino and Western choices. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, receiving a later checkout of 1pm. We had a great supper at the hotel’s Rooftop restaurant. Rizal Park is a 3-5 minute walk away.

Classic, Elegant Hotel worth coming back for”

Loved everything about the hotel. I immediately fell in love as soon as I seen the facade of the hotel. Staying at the hotel brought back memories of Old Manila as described on our history text books. The staff were dressed similar to earlier days' clothing outfits, the interiors resembles the designs & architectures of the earlier elite Spanish & American structures. Food was sumptuous and bountiful for their breakfast buffet. Staff are polite and attentive of our needs, facilities were clean except for their water feature at the courtyard seems like the water are not being replaced as it already has molds, algae & mosquito larvae, might be a concern as it might cause of mosquito-borne diseases. Rooms are fairy large and adequate, bed linens are clean, shower and toilet no mildew & awful smell. Overall, we're satisfied and would love to come again.

Sweet receptionist gave me a free upgrade to Club King room since all their Deluxe rooms were taken. Their very courteous staff really made me feel like a VIP. And their swimming pool at the 4th floor overlooking Manila Bay is just lovely (did I mention they have a working jacuzzi, too.). And their breakfast buffet is okay/above average. I will definitely be back and I cannot wait!

Instagrammable”

They have very nice interior, very instagram worthy. :) Pool area is small but very relaxing, facing Manila Bay and my daughter had fun. Breakfast was good, very Filipino. Only issue was during check in. We arrived early, around 12:30 and the girl in the front desk said that check in is 2pm which is right so we hang out first and took pictures. I tried again around 1:30, which usually other hotels already allow us checking in, and the girl said that they were still in the process of checking out but I am not seeing anyone checking out since we arrived. This time my husband tried asking again at exactly 2pm, the girl said they were still cleaning the rooms and they will call us when everything is ready. They let us in past 2:30 already. Toilet flush is not that strong as well that it clogged. But overall, we still enjoyed our stay and we will still go back when we have a chance.

Pros: Near to Manila Ocean Park, Quirino Grandstand, Luneta, Museong Pambata and US Embassy. They have a resto, spa and a mini casino. Cons: Hard to get a cab in that area. It's better to have Uber/Grab app. Ingress can be tricky if there is no other vehicle ahead of you who will enter the hotel premises.

Just a stone throw away from luneta park and manila ocean park. convenient store is walking distance though you have to go accross roxas blvd. very neat and classy. downside is that our restroom door got locked from the inside thus we have to ask help from the reception to open it. maybe this is one feature of the door that they must look into. staff are so attentive to our needs. i'd be glad to stay again here one of these days.

The roofdeck was perfect for the New Year countdown. THey had a great DJ, bar area, and fantastic view of Manila. THe fireworks display was a bonus too. Our room was fairly large and cozy. The hallways were not claustophobic or creepy but bright and clean. THe breakfast buffet wasnt as abundant as other hotels and the fresh fruits only had 3 choices. Still, I love this hotel.

Staff is very pleasant and helpful. They gave us everything we asked for, like adjoining rooms and the wait staff at Cafe Rizal was very accomodating.
