Great place for family”
The hotel offers a wide range of facilities including convenient store, souvenir shop, all season indoor swimming pool, onsen and game center. Besides the restaurant that we have breakfast, there is an outdoor playground with jumping castle for free. Kids will never get bored to stay here. Besides, the hotel offers singing/traditional performance daily, and some paid kids activities and marine center. The beach is clean and beautiful too. Breakfast choice is abundant, and you can redeem to lunch buffet if you get up late. Worth to stay and highly recommend. The only disadvantage is dimmed room but we are ok.

If you’re looking for a place to stay, you must try this hotel, everything is excellent from staff to facilities/amenities and foods. We enjoyed the free show at night, onsen (first timer), room is very clean and comfortable to add the magnificent ocean view from our terrace. Tancha bay is an amazing ocean and the hotel is in a fabulous location with spectacular views. You immediately feel at home on Tancha bay all of the people we met were really friendly and when asked were more than willing to help or share their knowledge and experiences of the place.

While the Rizzan isn’t the newest hotel on the island, the value and amenities have made us come back for multiple visits. The kids enjoy the options of both indoor and outdoor options, as well as the beach and floating obstacle course. Make sure to book your stay with the free breakfast option (expansive buffet featuring multiple Japanese options and basic American choices) free for adults that are staying and children under a certain age, or don’t use it for breakfast and use it for lunch! Tattoos allowed in pools.

A good resort that has many services. The snorkeling tour is interesting. The buffet at the side beach is goof value and delicious. The only down side is my room was too far to walk.

Beware of screaming kids”
Great location. Lovely private beach. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Big spacious rooms. The rooms look like they are from the 90s albeit I did feel a nostalgic charm to it. Not enough outlets in the room. This is definitely a family resort. There were so many screaming kids everywhere. Not recommended if you are looking for a romantic getaway.

Big old but well maintained and clean with many amenities resort by the sea”
Greeted with friendly staff upon arrival at the resort entrance. Check-in was fast and smooth. Room was huge and very spacious with comfy bed. Being old yet well maintained and clean without any kind of mouldy unpleasant smell. Resort has a few shops and activities to keep the guests occupied. Breakfast spread was great and food quality was awesome. Definitely a highly recommended place to stay in Onna.

Quiet and off the beaten path”
Stayed here during a quiet travel period and on most days I practically had the place to myself. You will find it hard to find fluent English spoken anywhere other than the front desk but that didn't stop me from enjoying the facilities. The beach front was nice but I'm not sure why you have to pay extra for a chair and umbrella on the property's private beach. The pool needs some updating but it was a pleasant temperature and the staff was helpful and friendly. Recommend this place for families!

This is a resort with everything you need. Supermarket, plenty of restaurants, bars. Japanese public bath place, massage, gym, game center, souvenir shops. There is also morning market, dance show, car rental and ticket selling services. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Fun Family Staycation! ”
We live on the island and decided to take a quickly family “staycation” for Mother’s Day weekend. We mostly came for the indoor pool for our kids ages 5 and 7. The kids enjoyed the pool for hours! We choose to use the hotel Yakiniku restaurant for dinner, in which we were able to sit outside and grill. There were plenty of meats to choose from and it was slightly expensive, but not ridiculously over priced. The hotel seems popular for families with children, as there were many. Complimentary Japanese/Western breakfast was huge and filling! My only complaint is that our room had a slight urine smell - and if you are a family of four, make sure to get the room with 3 beds! Would stay again!
