Bellissimo Hotel, personale gentile disponibile”

Hotel molto elegante, appena fuori dalla zona di Chaweng e quindi per il relax! Abbiamo prenotato tramite loro un motorino per spostarci liberamente nell'isola (l'hotel fornisce un servizio navetta gratuito per Chaweng beach tutti i giorni, due viaggi al giorno)e i biglietti per il traghetto: prezzi competitivi rispetto alle agenzie. Buono il cibo e le camere erano sempre molto pulite. Consigliamo colazione abbondante e poi girare e varie spiagge a nord e sud di Chaweng, al rientro un bell'idromassaggio nella piscina dell'hotel.

on y a passe qu'une seule nuit. La chambre et tres correcte, propre. pour les courts sejour je le deconseillerais car trop de transport pour visiter ou faire des activités de jour comme de nuit. Mais si vous louez une moto ou une voiture et l'envie d'etre au calme c parfait!!!

la localizzazione è molto bella, ma il resort è piuttosto vecchio e necessita di una radicale ristrutturazione, inoltre a parte i bungalows direttamente sul mare, gli altri non hanno vista. Le camere sono spaziose, così come il bagno, ma l'arredamento è piuttosto vecchio. Internet è a pagamento e le due piscine sono molto piccole. La spiaggia non è naturale e per accedere al mare bisogna camminare sulle rocce.La prima colazione è piuttosto modesta,e viene servita in cima alla collina, per cui se non ci si fa portare da una delle due auto elettriche esistenti, bisogna farsi una lunga camminata tutta in salita, per raggiungere il centro di Chaweng necessita un'auto privata, il pulmino dell'albergo fà un servizio molto limitato negli orari

l'albergo è accogliente, la struttura moderna ed accogliente. l'atmosfera è un po' formale. la vista è bella. le piscine a gradini sono spettacolari ma con acqua dolce. l'albergo sorge su una scogliera direttamente sul mare ma non è possibile tuffarsi perchè non esistono discese a mare e sarebbe troppo pericoloso tuffarsi e, soprattutto risalire dagli scogli.

Una notte non abbiamo dormito per un enorme scarafaggio trovato sulla parete, purtroppo dovrebbero tenere le camere più igenizzate e pulite o geco e insetti fanno una festa

Niente wifi, zecche sul letto documentate con foto, scomodissimo..tutto in salita, no accesso mare, tv non funzionante. Buona la colazione, ottimo e gentilissimo lo staff

Altes, abgelebtes, dunkles Hotel. Zimmer sind dunkel und abgelebt. Der Ausblick vom Balkon fiel direkt auf einen Müllberg. Wir können dieses Hotel auf keinen Fall empfehlen!

This place needs a complete overhaul.”

Starting to show its age the outdated bathrooms and furnishings are showing a lot of wear and tear. Generally I found the staff to be rather cold and their English could be improved upon. There were exceptions though. It's set on a huge hillside so everywhere you go is a very long and arduous walk, the resort does run golf carts around the resort to get you from A to B which is a real advantage. And I found the drivers to be prompt and courteous toward me. They have 2 swimming pools both of which are rather nice. And the breakfast is more than acceptable. ***parking on site is very limited***

Ok. More cons than pros”

It is very nice location, but built on side of very steep hill. No water/beach access even though on beach (too rocky - but that is noted in property description). Pros: Beautifully landscaped Quick golf cart drivers Breakfast was good. Cons: Reserved 3 rooms but could not get into any of them until 220pm, after waiting in hot open air lobby. Staff seemed unconcerned. Of 3 rooms, 1 had good aircon, 1 had crappy aircon , but eventually cooled by morning, 3rd room no aircon at all. The staff put more freon in, but had to endure very hot humid night without even a fan. Got a new room for second night without any compensation or compassion. Very limited parking and access on very steep road Need to call golf cart to go anywhere, even to lobby Overall, I would not recommend. It was not horrendous, but there are probably better places out there. I did not use the spa, so I have no comment to provide.

Old and Dusty”

For context, I only stayed one night here, checking in at 10 PM and leaving for a 9 AM flight the next morning. The promotion rate was heavily discounted because it seemed they wanted to fill their last room of that kind. Reception was nice enough for a late check-in, but we couldn’t communicate fully in English. I eventually gave up with my questions about reaching the airport. They drove me to my room in a buggy which I was thankful for since it was VERY far and at the bottom of the hill. You just need to call the front desk to request a ride. Room was simple with cute decorative touches. The hot water wasn’t working, but with a simple call, the handyman fixed the water heater box and it was fine. The hot shower and the big, comfy bed were really all I needed for one last night in Koh Samui. Breakfast was included and pretty sub-standard but there aren’t many other options in the area.

Great Holiday Great Experience ”

I have been staying for 2 nights and definitely will go back. Food a the restaurant down the bottom was really quality with wonderful views of sea and mountain. Overall I am satisfied with Bann Hin Sai and the resort has been a perfect recharged battery

Pros: 1) Greeted by welcoming drinks. 2) Staff - helpful and friendly (Thai people do not speak English very well. So, please use simple and basic English. Forget about your accent and your grammar) 3) Hotel has 2 swimming pools. The first one is near the lobby. The other is facing the ocean. Both are beautiful pools and they are lovely. I really enjoyed myself using the pools. 3) Location - situated between Chaweng and Lamai. Can't swim at the beach. Suitable for whom who likes peaceful and calm surrounding. As for me, I like it very much. You can hear the sounds of crickets and birds. 4) Check-in and check-out was fast and quick. 5) Decoration of the room is nice with comfortable bed and also has a balcony to drink coffee in the morning. Neutral: 1) Cleanliness of the room - acceptable as I'm not a fussy one. 2) This hotel is very hilly and steep, atop a cliff. Surrounded by little jungle. It's quite a distance between the reception and most rooms. They provide the golf-buggy to fetch and send you to the room. But the buggy might not be available all the time. You need to go uphill. (Standard room, room number 201 - 208 are near the lobby) 3) Has motorbikes for rent at 250 Baht per day. 4) Spa and massage - need to call the reception to arrange the appointment. 5) Hotel taxi to Bo Phut at 400 Baht per taxi. 6) Free shuttle to Chaweng at a specified time. Cons: 1) No wifi in the rooms. Only at the lobby. 2) The room has bed bugs and flies. Since the hotel concept is surrounding by a little jungle, I can't complain much. My body had an allergic reaction. 3) The condition of the room and the hotel itself seems run-down and creaky. Management should do something about it because this hotel has quite a potential. I believe it WAS beautiful some time ago. 4) Two lamps in the room were not functioning. Room 204. Conclusion: I am satisfied with my overall staying at this hotel. Worth my money.
