It was a lovely place to stay. Friendly staff and clean. Beautiful garden Only negative is the beach club next door which tends to play music quite late.

Great place for relaxation, lots of space, really peaceful and really clean. Good for families with kids and couples, as they offer many types of accommodation. Has a swimming pool, large garden and it's own beach - it is all maintained to an exceptional standard. Food was also a + point, especially breakfast. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Make sure you have a look at the photo albums by the restaurant, as it shows the interesting story of how it was built.

The staff were good generally, but it's so far from town. They got me a taxi which cost 70, even though I could get one back for 40. Saying that one of the staff was brilliant one night and took me back and forth on his bike for free. Swimming pool not working. Came back at 11:30 once night and gate was closed. Had to climb over and saw there was no one on reception. Not that easy for a guy who is not that mobile at the best of times

Location great as wanted something away from LBJ town, grounds and rooms good - pity the pool was under maintenance but not a big deal. Food is uninspiring and my only complaint - takes forever and then is a massive compromise to appease western tastes. All other meals on Flores whether roadside stops, homestays or other hotels was much more enjoyable.

Nicely located by the beach and quietly away from the busy Town; staff is super friendly and eager to help on my queries. Everything related to a visit to Komodo National Park is very expensive for Westerners, but that is a different issue, not directly related to this particular Hotel. Overall, this is a very nice resort.

Recommended place to stay in Labuan Bajo”

The staff are friendly & very helpful. The driver picked us up at the airport. Our plane that was supposed to leave Labuan Bajo was cancelled & airport was closed due to volcanic ash, the staff was very helpful in getting us to the ferry boat as an alternative transport. Staff is also helpful in getting us driver & car to take us around, and to get the boat to Rinca & Sabolo islands. They let us stay for an extra few hours after our check-out time until they get the driver for us. There is a swimming pool but during our visit it is closed for renovation. Most of our food we'd like to order was not available, so we ate pretty much the same everytime. It is not a luxurious hotel, but overall, I like this hotel & would certainly recommend for other travelers to stay.

Great and peaceful place to stay in Labuan Bajo”

We loved our stay at Eco Lodge, just few minutes away from the town, calm and pretty place, with clean, large and comfortable rooms surrounded by pleasant garden. Helpful and friendly staff helped us to rent motorbike and picked us at the airport. We loved our stay at Eco Lodge!

Unexpected Charming Hotel”

Only stayed here for a night before diving LOB. It was good. The hotel provides free pickup from the town, it is just about 10 minutes or so from the town.

Feeling in a movie from another time”

There is no perfect, all in one solution in labuan bajo: either you are far from the town centre or you are in town and the feeling is suffocating. Beaches are apparently not considered anything else than a dump and if you are lucky to find a clean one, than the sea is littered with plastic and bottles. That s something we did not know before coming... Best way is to find yourself a calm relaxing place for lazy evenings and breath taking sunsets and be on a boat during the day, exploring the reef and the small islands during the day. This said, we loved this ecolodge for its calm and relaxing atmosphere, rooms where you can rest well, simple but comfortable. The main property is an impressive and well maintained colonial house, and you would expect to see the characters of a Salgari novel pop up at any time. The beach does exist but fishermen do not appreciate you there and swimming is not recommended because there is a nearby river. Staff have been friendly and helpful and always smiling.
