Buona posizione camere ampie”
Not bad but could be much better”
The hotel itself is OK, out room was on the 2nd floor and people were walking in front of our window. The bigger issue was that the housekeeping left our door open all day after "cleaning" (more like making the bed not much cleaning) and after we reported it at the reception they only said "We will report it to the management". No compensation nor apologies were given. Moreover upon checkup they were trying to charge me 16 USD for 4 bottles of water they were saying we had from the min-bar, well we didn't. We did not take the water, after I told them they took it off the bill.
Old School Poshness”
The hotel looked really classy , albeit smallish. Location is posh but hotel is a little far from amenities, fortunately we drove. Place was clean, but we had an issue with the hot water shower, couldn't turn it off and the temperature of the water was either very hot or scalding hot. However, maintenance staff managed to rectify all the problems by the time we were back. Kindly provided free coffee everyday. Parking is quite expensive at USD40 per day but there are plenty of free parking that is available opposite the hotel.
Charming Hotel in Beverly Hills ”
Loved this boutique hotel. Great location and value.
Rather grand, very clean and well appointed rooms”
Overall gorgeous hotel, although single female stashed in the back wasn’t the most salubrious experince possible nor was a bedroom that had a bank of windows and a wall for views - blinds had to be closed at all times for privacy so the room was very dark. But the rooms are very clean and well appointed which was so wonderful. Being old the walls are thin so hadn’t anticipated such an active evening and very disappointing of course to wake up and discover throughout the evening that in fact it wasn’t me having that much fun (note to husband changes are required). Entrance and pool were of another era, grand and amazing. Staff were helpful but when the phone rang you become non existent and priorities shifted even though you were in the middle of being served and are then just left standing waiting with no apology - emoji very sad and tearful.
Staff are not friendly or helpful. Customer service was non-existent, if you need anything ask twice maybe three times. Do not use their unprofessional overpriced town car service, Uber gives better service for less.
Good location and friendly staff”
We would definitely recommend this as somewhere to stay as it is in a good area but close to other places. Would definitely recommend a car although Uber is a great alternative .As mentioned by others the parking fee is crazy but there is plenty of on street parking around the corner and the Valet and Bell guys were great. The restaurant is really quite small and it is a little disappointing that not only do they close at 9pm but room service also stops then: that’s not what I expect from a good hotel to be honest and that’s why I scored them lower on their facilities. Would I stay there again? Definitely and I’d recommend to others.
My home away from home”
I love this hotel. It is my favorite in LA. Class, style, space
Service needs improvement”
Stayed here on my honeymoon night. Despite mentioning this both on the reservation and front desk, we did not get any greetings or anything complimentary. Also, hotel staff was not friendly
Exceeded all expectations ”
When we booked we hoped for a clean and serviceable room. We got an immaculate and remarkably spacious apartment with more room and amenities than we ever expected. People were great and our experience here was one of our best travel experiences. Highly recommend. Also easy to save $$ on parking with 24 hour free parking located right across the street.
We are a family of four, staying for just a night to attend UCLA graduation. The lobby was impressive, the balcony overlooking the inner courtyard with pool and cabanas was a classic LA feature, and everything had a classy, old-school feel. The "room" was actually a living room, dining area, kitchenette and hall with a light-up vanity, in addition to the bedroom--wonderfully spacious. Unfortunately, the bedroom was consequently too small to accommodate queen beds, making for an uncomfortable night in a double for mom and dad, and one kid sleeping on the couch in the living room. For a couple without kids, this place would be amazing.
Just what we were loking for”
With young children, we always need more space for them to play and also be able to prepare simple meals. We booked a suite, it was perfect for us. Malls and grocery shops were quite nearby, but quiet and peaceful street for us to go to bed early. I will definately recommend this hotel, for families with young kids.
Comfortable Classy Hotel in a Nice Part of Town”
Me and my wife were visiting LA and I wanted to pick a nice part of town that wasn't to busy. The hotel was exactly what we were after. The location was perfect for what we wanted. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities there were also pretty good. The room was a bit small but comfortable and was actually self contained (had a small kitchen but we didn't end up using it!). Room service prices were also surprisingly reasonable. A word of warning for anyone booking, remember this is in a quiet part of town. If that's what you're after then this is the hotel for you. If you want to have action outside your doorstep this may not be the hotel for you.
Grear location for public transport.”
We stayed in a hotel suit at the back of the hotel. It wS comfortable and suitable for us however the walls are extremely thin and we could here the neighbours. This may not be a problem is you have considerate people staying next door but we had a very load couple waking us at 1am. Credit to the staff though I called reception and they called the room immediately and the couple did quieten down a little.
Hotel was great. Our problem is priceline booking engine. We have been using priceline off and on for 5 or 6 years and have finally come to unrefutible conclusion that when you use priceline you are recognized and given the worst location and sometimes substandard room. One review of this hotel said the check in person even stated that "we always give those rooms to priceline bookings. Those rooms being 2 rooms with 3 flights of stairs with no elevators and a view of rooftop airconditioning equiptment and main road
Nice hotel but no elevator beyond the 2nd floor”
Stay was fine but will not stay again due to no elevator and me and my 3 children had to go up several flights of stairs trying to locate our room which we could not find until one of the staff members saw us wandering around looking. The signs were not detailed enough. Parking was $28 per day.
Jessie at Beverly hills hotel was one of the best ”
Stay started of with a slight misunderstanding on rooms we booked.Spoke to manager and she had Jessie to sort out our problems. We were given an amazing two bedroom suite which was just the best.We are very grateful to the team in making our stay wonderful. The girl at checkin lacked customer service skills but the doorman and manager made up for that. Once again I would like to thank the team and i will definitely stay here again.
Excellent rooks, nice pool”
Very easy to arrive by car, get access to parking, check in. Our room(s) was very large and kept in good shape, The pool area is attractive and well kept. Our room had a kitchen unit with fridge and freezer, we used the kitchen during out stay. Friendly employees at this hotel, car in and out was easy and fast.
Comfortable luxurious feeling hotel”
My husband and I were taken aback with the size of the room. It was a single room apartment and was outfitted with beautiful and comfortable furniture. It was a very inviting room to come back to each evening after wandering all over LA. Valet parking is readily available however it comes at a cost. Staff were very helpful especially as we had left some items behind by accident and they were quick to recover them.
