anche se la camera era più piccola dell'aspettativa, la posizione dell'hotel è ottima, vicina a diverse attrazioni e praticamente all'ingresso del Greenwich Park. molto ben collegato a tutto il resto di londra. la colazione è abbastanza varia e abbondante. l'unica pecca è non avere un piccolo frigo in camera.

Great for exploring Greenwich history”

The hotel was previously the Royal Naval College. The rooms were big with high ceilings and great views very comfortable. Reception staff were a bit off but Resturant and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Parking possible at the hotel,but payable, as you would expect in London, but well worth it. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Beyond imagination, perfect the best hotel in London”

The hotel has a very long history. The English breakfast is very delicious. The 188 bus can directly reach the Tower Bridge. It is very convenient and the surrounding environment is quiet.

Private traveller”

An excellent location for the National Maritime Museum, but rather a disappointing hotel. the staff were pleasant and helpful. I was allocated a room 406 on the fourth floor, but the noise from the generating units outside was dreadful. I requested a transfer, and was given 413, which was thre other side to the units but was fractionally better. But there is no airconditioning and even with the small fan, I spent a dreadful night in sweltering heat in the room. There was no refrigerator in the room, and the supply of toiletries was minimal. Also, the fire alarm went off at 0610 but we received no apology that it was a false alarm. I suspect someone had a shower and left the bathroom door open which set off the alarm. There is a small notice asking clients to make sure they close the door when showering. This needs to be prominently displayed. The breakfast, however, was good. I felt this hotel was poor value for the money, despite the location.

Great location and very friendly staff”

We stayed in the De Vere Devonport House for three nights and thought the location was ideal for our short break - close to the Ferry (great way to get into hot spots in London) and the bus service was great. The hotel was very clean, spacious room and the staff were lovely. Tea/Coffee and biscuits each day. The only thing we can complain about was that their residents bar closed too early for us!

wonderful value for money”

I stayed in this hotel to attend a funeral, so did not take full benefit of the advantages of the situation. It is in a wonderful position to visit all the sights in Greenwich, only a few minutes walk from the DLR. Incredible value for money, comfortable room. I only gave it 4 for facilities because the bathroom is a bit tired. Otherwise comfortable, clean, pleasant staff. I will be back.

Ideally located for exploring London and Greenwich. Parking is extra but not expensive compared to other longstay car parks.

Everything was OK excluding confirmation of payment while check-in: the receptionist seems to be unknow that I've paid in advance (he appears unfamilar with agoda's payment mannor) and asked me to pay again. After i insisted on double check with their manager/accountant, he confirmed in the end i had paid in advance.

Great travel location for point zero”

Always wanted to go to the place where it begins: Greenwich was long on my list and I was more than happy to stay overnight right next to Cutty Sark and Observatory. The history of longitude was driving to the place and maybe a little bit Thor 2. The hotel ist the perfect location to enjoy the area. Even went for parkrun on Saturday. Fun fact , when we get our room some guest where in already so we got a nice upgrade for free.

Good location, but more B&B than hotel! ”

Good location, close to the DLR and next door to a very big and beautiful park. Room was very basic with no fridge. No hotel facilities apart from restaurant that served good breakfast. There are lots of really nice restaurants outside the hotel. Polite members of staff. Greenwich Market is a fab place.

Most staff very friendly, location perfect to visit London city. Park car at Hotel and take Thames clipper. Food good price value.

A wedding by the river”

We stayed here for our friends wedding. I was just average tbh. Room was ok a bit on the small side, the breakfast was decent enough.

Great Location”

Friendly staff. Nice rooms although in the summer heat was a little stuffy. windows only open a couple of inches to let in the air. No air conditioning. Good breakfast with lots of choice.

Nice but NO A/C!!”

How can people rate a hotel fantastic if it doesn't even have Air Conditioning? And they only give duvets to sleep with. No flat sheet so if I was hot, I had to remove my covers all together. I hated that. Other than that. It was okay, I guess. I definitely wouldn't rate it an 8.2.

No aircon”

I had a room on the 4th floor in July and found it unbearably hot. The sash window drops down a little to let some air in, but being the top floor on a warm night it was impossible to sleep. There is no aircon and an electric fan only circulating warm air. The noise of the lift from the roof outside whined throughout. I would not stay here during the summer again.

breakfast i thought was a bit expensive at £15 and parking should be included with your stay free of charge but overall had a good stay
