First of all when we reach hotel we stop at the front door waiting for valet around 15 minutes the hotel seems to look like lack of staff! and we come back at night same situation valet has no staff ! we call the reception but she ignore me!we will waited for too long i decide to move the barrier myself plus im pregnant! when i go bck to my room to have a shower! The hot water doesn't works! i am very disappointed! thats not all yet 10 in the morning the housekeeping keeps pressing the door bell ! wtf! just to make sure i get up to answer! i stay here for two nights second night when i come back to my room the front door ceiling is leaking my front door carpet was soaking wet..this is my first bad experience of this hotel and it will be my last!bye

I've stayed only one night. Good location in Bukit Bintang, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, close to all the nightlife in Kuala Lumpur. Nice hotel, clean, nice swimming pool, friendly staff. Very good breakfast Recommended

su nostra richiesta ci hanno messo al piano n° 28 da cui si gode di una vista favolosa sulla cità e sulle Petronas Tower che siamo andati a vedere a piedi in mezz'ora di camino. A 10 minuti c'è la monorail che porta dapertutto in citta. meglio del taxi. L'albergo ha un rapporto qualita-prezzi molto buono. la colazione a buffet è una meraviglia. è da consigliare.

Il soggiorno é stato buono a livello della struttura: la posizione é centrale ed é vicino alla linea della metro che conduce direttamente alla stazione (dove si possono prendere i bus per l'aeroporto). Tuttavia lo staff é molto carente in inglese, talvolta bisogna quasi comunicare a gesti, e l'hotel CHIUDE L'ACQUA DALLE 12pm ALLE 5am, un disastro per chi arriva tardi, come é successo a noi. Insomma, noi avevamo trovato una buona offerta ma non so quanto meriti le stelle che ha.
Caldamente consigliabile, il Dorsett Regency offre una valida sistemazione sia per chi viaggia individualmente che in gruppo. Il comfort e' garantito..!!!!

Easy check in check out. Staff very friendly, parking is very narrow. 5 mins walk to pavillion and Farenheit for shopping and supplies. Clean room and muslim friendly ( has water host) breakfast superb with many choices

When we reached the hotel, bellmen were super friendly & receptionists were ok (not that really2 friendly). Ambience n hotel surroundings were good. Breakfast was good. Room was great. 5mins walk to Pavilion. 12mins walk to Bt Bintang station. Thank you Dorsett 🤩🤩😘

The location is the biggest draw, of course, with Pavilion only being 5 minutes on foot, but the staff is also exceptionally welcoming and helpful. And for once this even included the reception on check-in and out and the front desk throughout (in most luxury hotels in Malaysia the receptionists are far sub-par and too busy with their own importance in the scheme of things, NOT here!). The newly renovated lobby is a bit Jazzy and certainly makes for a refreshing change from the all-the-boring-same most hotels seem to be wasting a fortune to look like these days. So, if you don't want to break the bank, but still want a larger than normal room arrangement in a great location, the Dorsett may well be it for you, too.

Very happy to stay in this well managed hotel. Manager Mike and rest of the staff were wonderful and helpful. We managed to get connecting room which was useful for family with younger children. The bf buffet is great and another hall was open to cater for the residents. Hotel is well maintained and nearby shopping malls esp pavilion and time square with variety of Restuarants available in nearby streets. Definitely coming back to Dorset KL in a couple of days. Everything perfect Except ...”
Location-wise (which is one of my top priority in choosing this hotel) was a let down, though not the Hotel fault. Lots of Construction around the area. I choose this hotel as it's close proximity to Pavilion Shopping Centre, but due to the construction I have to walk around the hotel to get to pavilion passing Ritz-Carlton, Westin and Marriot Hotel. In google map it look very very close and short distance, but in reality be prepare to walk a lot. Not an issue if you are alone, but with children it's a different matter.

Its a nice place with all the facilities but the only problem is the breakfast hall or area, which is very small n have to wait a long time to get a table. No hesitation in recomending this place to anybody.

I stay here 13 nights. Every level is hot! Elevator is hot, cupboard is dusty, towel is not ready, almost everyday I have to call house keeping to deliver towel, swimming pool only open until 7pm, the night shift of house keeping not humble and helpful

A very nice hotel in the heart of Bukit Bintang”
We lived in the residence section of the hotel and it was amazing. The room setting was plush and the facilities were very nice. Breakfast was nice. The breakfast area got crowded at times but the staff managed it with efficiency and respect. The attitude of all the staff was very respectful and they were a;ways ready to help. The pool area at the top floor was beautiful, clean and upscale. The location was very convenient, just 5 mins walk from Bukit Bintang. The only negative was sighting of two cockroaches in three days but thats negligible in comparison to the positives.

Didn't get the room that we paid for”
Firstly, our check in time was supposed to be at 2pm. But when we arrived at the counter 12pm, we were told to come back and checked in at 3pm. Reason being, they need to clean the room. Next bad experience would be when it was time for us to check in at the reception, we didn't get the room that we PAID for. I paid for this room way in advance which was in April. The room that we paid for was a 2 bedroom suite with both room having a queen sized bed. However, the receptionist questioned us about the booking that we made. I showed her the booking slip that states the two queen sized bed. She went around to look for her colleague and came back telling us that those rooms with the queen beds were all taken and there isnt any room left. So we have to settle with one queen size bed and two single bed. They promised to push the bed together prior to our arrival but in the end no one came and my elderly dad and my husband had to do the job. Thirdly, The suite appliances were all not working well. The phone was not able to reach the room service line. The television was not set up thus we cannot get to view any channels. Thank god for my tech savvy brother who struggled and managed to tune the tv. The iron was also not working, had to use my personal phone to call your hotel main line to get my request across. Lastly, they did not inform us before hand about the inavailability of a big fridge in the room. We were obly aware of it when they came knocking with the fridge at the door at 11am on the second of our stay. This is not our first time staying at Dorsett hotel as you can view our past bookings. However, we are very disappointed to face these when we bring and highly recommend our parents to stay here. Hope you can review your booking processes and improve the quality of your service.
