And the best is the free continental breakfast in the mgorning. They have free pool table and football table and extra table games. Thanks for all to Gigi.
Everything is great price is nice and there is kitchen for use, but there is an horrible staff ”
Everything is great, the price is nice and there is kitchen for use, but the only disgusting thing is there is very old woman staff who is from Thai, she keep call herself as manager and she is very bad and horrible, she have no reason cancel and reject my booking and kick me out even I already pay and when it was very late, hostel is a place to sharing but not a place for someone like this woman’s unacceptable behavior
Cheap bed with breakfast”
The location is not really best, it’s in the middle of restaurants and 20 minutes steep walk if you go to Beyazid tram station. But price is cheap and you get free breakfast. The staff mostly non turkish so they speak english well.
Clean, warm and safe”
One of the nicer hostels I've stayed in around the world. Also, one of the best showers I've had in a hostel as well! Highly recommend if floating around istanbul for a few days.
If i come back to Istanbul i will stay in this hostel”
I very recommend this hostel to backpackers who want come to Istanbul.. Very friendly staff and very kindly receptionist.. The room and toilet are very clean.. And you get free breakfast with tea or coffee every morning at 8 am. 3 things that i always remember about this hostel: first is Tom, I miss him, maybe sometimes he will meet Jamilah, my cat. The second is I get free loundry.. I saved my some clothes before leaving for Berlin and after I returned to this hostel my clothes had been wash.. thank for you all.. And third is The receptionist cares about my prayer. When I want to Subuh prayer, I ask permission to pray in the reception area, because I can't pray in the room, but the guy forbade me to pray in the reception area because of a lot of alcohol spills on the floor, and he wasn't sure if the floor was clean from alcohol. He gave me a prayer mat and asked me to pray outside because he thought it was cleaner and purer.. Thanks guy, May ALLAH always bless you Hanchi, Best regards from me

I stay here first time in 6 beds room and second night in 12 beds room, the morning I have to change to another room I must checked out at 11am and move my luggage to downstairs and came back to check in again 2pm, I have no problem with that but in that morning one customer came in early and yelled at the girl who works here because he wants to go upstairs before check-in time. It was very bad situation to let this man stayed in this hostel. I was feeling uncomfortable if the reception let this man go upstairs. He said bad word to show himself that he stayed here long term and rudely said this hostel needs his money. I don't recommend anyone to stay here only for this reason that this chinese guy stay here as a long term guest. I was surprised that the female reception was politey explained about the rules which is the same rules that me and another guests follow it, I don't feel safe to have some customer can go upstairs before he check-in and to try to refused to leave his luggage downstairs. it's a room for the bags downstairs. I won't feel safe if people from outside or any guests who is not check-in come upstairs. The hostel is almost perfect but lacks of security.
Very nice hostel with good condition”
this is very nice hostel with good kitchen. good bedroom. clean， people are very friendly. we want to say one more thing. one comment from a person name ‘Chiheng’ is not true. We saw him arrived here early and shouted to the Thai lady and she said nice way to this man but he wanted to go upstairs to his friend’s room. We didn’t like this man behavior because he yelled and said bad words to the Thai lady. This place is a very nice hostel. We travelled a lot many many country but customer yelled in the hostel and rude to staff is not make good feeling to another customers. We really like this hostel but without rude customer like this man.
As a long-time guest at the hotel, a female Thai employee today managed to infuriate me. The thing is, I arrived at the hotel at about 11 o 'clock, and I asked her if I could put my luggage in the room first, because my friend was already in the same room. She answered rudely: no, you have to put your luggage in the basement and come back at 2 PM to move upstairs. I asked her why, because I didn't put anyone in trouble, because I didn't need to check in or get my bed. She answered rudely: that's the rule. Then I told my friend to go downstairs and take my luggage up, thinking it had solved the problem. She warned me again that you were violating the rules of the hotel and I could let your luggage out and let you go. If it were not for the fact that the other staff are all very good and I have feeling this hotel like my home, I would like to cancel the reservation. I don't know why the hotel hired her for such a rude and mean employee. Really not afraid to frighten guests, guests away?
Amazing experience Hanchi and Istanbul as a whole”
Amazing experience Hanchi and Istanbul as a whole Istanbul is a very welcoming city thanks to the city people and to Hanchi also Very 5 star place with free filling breakfast unlimited coffee and bread. Only tiny weakness is that it is a bit far from the Yenikapi / Aksaray subway/tram by walking maybe 20-25 minutes. Maybe can't beat this when I bought the promo at less than 10 dollars a night.
It was hard to find so please use maps.me app to find it. It’s on a road where no cars can pass thru. The room and toilet not bad in terms of cleanliness. Breakfast was also good. For the money I paid I have to be satisfied.
Excelent place for a little scape in Istambul”
This place is a really good option if you happen to not have much time to walk around the city. Is located a few meters from a square full of restaurants so one can have a gastronomical experience. If you idea is going to the bazaars just walk 10 minutes and you will be at the door of great Bazar. It is really goo to access there either with the metro (nearest stations is ony 15min walk) or with the Havabus which delivers you to the metro station. Only 2 things didn't really like about the place: bathrooms where mostly wet, but I guess that's guest fault who fail to use showers properly since the showers didint have any leak, and the breakfast was quit small, but for the price is an excellent option, and if needed just walk 5 meters and you can go to a restaurant. Additionally there are a lot of street food places passing the restaurants square.
- Great staff - Maintenance is good - Away a bit, must like walking - Not for light sleepers before midnight
Would never go there again ”
I stayed in female room for 4 days. It was a very bad experience. First issue was that my room was in 2nd floor and there was no lift. I had to carry my luggages in the small narrow stairs up and down. Then I found out that there are some noisy restaurants besides the hostel and the noise did not stop till almost midnight 🙄, I couldn't sleep although I was very tired. Besides all of that, there were 2 toilets outside the room for the whole floor. So. You may expect to wait for your turn to use the toilet. There is no ironing facilities. The luggage storage was 1 floor down stairs so you will also carry your luggage down and up. Otherwise it was clean, cheap and the breakfast was fine. But I strongly not recommend it and would never repeat this experience.
Good: - the hostal is cleaned every day - nice people working there as volunteers -"breakfast included" Not good: - you have to put some notes about people has to hold the doors, because some don't care what time it's and just let them slamed which made lot of noise - I was in the room with a close bathroom which isn't bad. Except if you have the extractor on it. It's really making some noise and people don't turn light off after, so it's really getting annoying. - it's nice to have breakfast but it's really a tiny breakfast
Not our booking, traid to get the money for a 5* hotel being a hostel”
Impossible to rest because there is a restaurant/disco with the music so loud until 3am. No stairs so we had to carry our luggage upstairs to the room. We had booked another hotel nearby 5*, they said there was not hot water so rearranged us to Hanchi hotel saying that they would keep the price. I checked in Agoda and Hanchi was less than half price. We told the receptionist and she tried to maintain the highest price saying that the cheapest one was for the hostel rooms.. finally I showed her the pics of the room so it was much cheaper.
Lively Hostel, rooms were clean, near the sea”
Be prepared to meet a lot of people, a good place for socializing. Walking distance to ports and sea. Probably 10-13 mins walk to Grand Bazaar and Tram station. 20 mins walk from Yenikapi Station. Rooms were clean except that my light was not working, a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby, staffs were not very friendly(rude) except for Stefan :)
Good location, many restaurants and shops nearby. ”
Helpful staffs, just a bit smelly for the toilet
Helpful staff ”
The staff is really helpful and nice. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is simple but enough for the price. I would definitely recommend this place.
I loved my stay here”
Staffs were very friendly, I enjoyed my stay here.
