Sono stato 3 volte a Colombo, in 3 diversi Hotel, questo e' il peggiore. Trovo estremamente caro il sevizio taxi per l'aereoporto, circa 300 euro ed il costo del ristorante in piscina. Veramente eccessivo per il servizio e la qualita', non ci ritornero' di sicuro.

ITS BEEN 1 OF MY FAVORITE HOTELS IN COLOMBO & MOST PREFERRED 1, I USUALLY HAVE NO COMPLAINTS WITH THIS PLACE AS IT ALWAYS BEYOND EXPECTATION EXCEPT THIS TIME THEY WERE CARRYING OUT MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY OF THE LIFTS/ELEVATORS WHICH WAS VERY INCONVENIENT BECAUSE EVERY TIME WE ORDERED SOMETHING OR WE WANTED THE STAFF AT SERVICE THEY USED TO TAKE LOT OF TIME IN SERVICING.

it was a hilton hotel so it was pretty well maintained to its standards, the food was good, location is very easy and rooms a very big and you get a super market down stairs of the hotel with a good quality of stuff there
excellent studio/apartment type hotel”
stay was good and we usually prefer to stay here but this time the service was very very slow as in you ask for a laundry bag and they take hours together to get the same, may be because they are renovating this place but this is the 1st time i am actually complaining about this hotel though we have stayed in this hotel lot of times.
booked this as it was same price here for 2 bedroom apartment as it was for standard room in other , the apartment was huge and very comfortable, even had a washing machine, all cooking facilities and supermarket next door, ideal for families

We stayed 4 nights here to finish off our 2 weeks cycling tour of Sri-Lanka. I loved hotel, but Colombo itself is boring and was a real let-down after our tour of SL. The hotel is a bit further away from the main ones (like the other Hilton) but it only took a tuk-tuk ride costing 200 rupees to get to the main shopping area we used near the Old Dutch Hospital. We love our space and this hotel fits the bill. It was "huge", a nice change from some of the other hotels we had been in. My estimate would be 15sq. with a fantastic view of the water and sunset. The staff are very helpful. On arrival they said we hadn't booked for breakfast, but our Agoda receipt showed we did - no big argument they just said "we'll sort it out, don't worry" and they did quietly sort it out, we weren't double billed. The washing machine malfunctioned (wear and tear on the door handle which snapped off) and the service man was there in minutes to fix it, again no dramas. We organised with a private sedan taxi driver to get a lift to the airport (an hours drive) - he turned up in a tuk-tuk (deceptive to say the least). I paid him 200 rph to go away. The bell boy promptly rang a taxi for me (in fact he rang 2 services to get the quickest one - the hotel taxi costs nearly double as is the norm for most hotels, so we weren't forced to use theirs) - just wonderful customer service. Arrived late for brekky and was given a bowl of freshly cut fruit from the chef. Room was cleaned properly and thoroughly each day, there is an air conditioner in each room (this is a big plus), the tv works unlike many we had seen, the couches are comfortable, the beds were divine to sleep on, (extra pillows, slippers & bath robe provided) and again - so much room, I so hate being stuck on top of each other. My only complaint would be the bath/shower, as it is high to step into, a handle on the wall for OHS purposes to facilitate stepping into and out of wouldn't go astray, I'm very fit, but I'm no gymnast

the hotel is located in a great location. i stay here usually when i travel with my friends for party trips. the services provided are very high end like all hilton hotels and the staff are very efficient and friendly
As always a great location , friendly staff and everything you need from a city centre location. Food is great and breakfast will set you up for the day with the Chef's ready to cater to your needs along with the rest of the team. For the evening the Bar team are excellent at setting you up for the evening ahead with a cocktail or two to help cope with what ever the day may have given you. All together a FAB experience as always and highly recommended.

Suitable for families with children”
We are so glad to have found the Hilton Colombo Residence now that our kids are older - 8 and 12. We booked the 2 bedroom suite. It was a really nice suite with 2 rooms. There is also a kitchen and washing machine. A nice touch was bins for recycling. It would have been perfect if the second bathroom was also en suite. Location wise, it is next to Cargills and Apico, which are supermarkets. There's also a hair salon nearby. Great views of the lake with the lotus tower. Excellent customer service from the reception, and Amanda and her superiors from the Reservation Dept. A detail they should consider for the suites is some kind of rack to hang swimming attire to dry. Also, for the price they charge, breakfast should have been included in the package.

Worst Hotel/Aparment ever stayed, really unprofessional staffs at reception, very old & very bad smell rooms & toilets, we didn’t expect these things in Hilton, really unprofessional & rude staffs I have never seen any brand hotels, we really disappointed with receptionist who was on duty when we arrived to hotel, I have pic of those receptionist, if possible I want share with hotel management.

Good: 1) Hotel staff are very friendly. 2) Hotel breakfast has a vast variety of food. 3) Location- near small sundry shops. Bad: 1) My room 1303. The furnitures are so old. The kitchen cutleries are so stained. The inside of the cupboard is so stained and the cupboard walls are peeling. I am afraid to place my clothes inside because of the condition. The bidet is so stained I was afraid to use it. 2) Not sure if there was renovation happening but there was so much banging even in the middle of the night. 3) Hotel staff is friendly but service is quite slow. Need to call hotel reception many times to get what you requested for.

We included a 4 days stops in SriLanka to know the city/Country as part of a longer vacation in South Asia. As was not easy to find a hotel in Colombo then we decided by Hilton as usually a Hotel International Chain count with some "minimum standard" - However the experience was very bad overall, finally we paid for a minimum standard that was NOT there. Rude personnel, dirty place, noisy building, humidity in the rooms... I'm a frequent traveler and this was my worst experience in a Hotel...
unfortunately, the hilton colombo was having a renovation right above our building... we have preferred hilton for their excellent hospitality and facilities, but this time we were not lucky... next time!!
Not really setisfactory ”
Firs of I have booked through Agoda, but I was told my booking is made by booking.com of which I was asked to make direct payment. I have booked three bedroom apartment, where there would be one double bed, one queen size bed and a single bed, as per Agoda. But there was no queen size bed and instead there were two single beds. And also when I went to the room, I have seen water coming up from the wooden floor and between the TV coupboard where it is very dirty. When complained I was moved to another room where there is very bad smoke smell. Requested to do some spray for that, it was not done till I leave after four days. I am staying there because of its location only. In general the staff are very nice, friendly and so helpful.

This is the place I stay whenever I visit Colombo. Hotel online and AGODA prices were almost same so I chose AGODA but to my surprise my AGODA booking didn't had BFwhich wasn't the case in hotel proposal.

it's none the less a good hotel, the room are new and bathroom is great...from the outside it does not looks good but the inside is worth the money..the breakfast serve is wonderful and special comment on the tomyum noodle..very good taste
I left some important medicine and a luggage bag in the hotel. In my previous experience, hotel should contact guest and arranged for the post, however, I tried to call many times to the hotel staff, either english problem or no one is willing to take responsibility to help. It took so long and eventually nobody posted to us. and they offered super high postage fee even more expensive than the things itself. will never stay anymore.
The hotel was quite busy and our room wasn't ready in time so they upgraded us to a room that was available (even though it was the penthouse!) and gave us free breakfast. The staff was very helpful and ultra professional.Great experience
Business / leisure stay”
Room was huge and clean. Access to park, and good jogging area towards the beach. Currently, hotel is under renovation and lobby was temporary. Should be a nice lobby after the renovation. Food have varieties of Sri Lanka food. Good choice.
