Good location ”
Location was great. One block back from beach. So close to eateries and loads of shopping. Staff were always cheerful and welcoming. Stayed in a palm suite which could sleep 6 but would not recommend it. Good for 4. It was small, a little dated and could be cleaned a bit better however it’s location to things outweighs this. Wifi was good. Would definitely come back again.
best location of Waikiki. I Love it!
The resort is located in a great location close to beaches and restaurants. We originally booked a Banyan room, but upgraded on arrival to a Koa room due to the size of the room. The room is dated and could use a revamp. maybe re configuring and making the bathrooms bigger. Overall the resort suited our purpose.
Took or daughter and 2 of her friends to Hawaii for schoolies to put a spin on the boring Bali, Byron and Gold Coast .This place rocks .Imperial was fantastic >fab staff. Our room was better ...(quieter and a better view and on a higher floor ) than the girls but they weren't fussed as they were rarely in the room .
Fantastic location great apartment very obliging housekeeping staff and reception ”
Couldn't use the pool area as very windy up on the roof top Most staff overall were very efficient especially reception The cooking facilities are excellent The cleanliness and housekeeping service is excellent. The location is brilliant.
Perfect Location - in the heart of Waikiki !!! Close to beaches, shopping and restaurants.”
We had a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 adults and our 17 year old son. The carpets are a little dated and worn and the dishes in the kitchenette were the type you purchased in the 70’s - as they were so old they felt grubby and overused. The bedroom was great and having 2 bathrooms was fantastic. Our son slept in the pull down bed which he loved. The apartment was very clean. We would definitely stay here again as it was nice to have a kitchen to make toast bagels or make a sandwich.
Nowhere near a 4 star property”
We arrived really late at 12.30am so I think we were just given the worst room in the hotel. We paid $250+ AUD for this room so were expecting a little more. Our room had a 3/4 bed that folded out from the wall and didn't lie flat so we felt like our heads were lower all night and it was filthy in behind the bed. We had two thin pillows and a sheet basically. The air conditioner was so noisy and the bathroom was small and when we stood in the shower over the bath the base of the bath actually moved! Felt very ripped off and disappointed.
So Hawaii was the destination to take a couple of Year 12 Aussie Schoolies rather than the trashy Bali and Gold Coast . The Imperial was just fantastic. I had done alot of research and decided it was a great deal !.We arrived super early on a Sunday at 0700hrs and they managed to get us into our 2 rooms just like that with no waiting which was rather fortunate. Staff were all very friendly and the hotel was clean . Our room had a full size fridge and an amazing view from the 18th floor where the girls room on the 10th floor had an ordinary view and a smaller fridge but a much bigger room and a better bed configuration( 2 x queen beds) .We booked 2 x Palm Suites. We were able to get clean beach towels daily if we wanted and the pool and gym area perfect for our needs. There was construction going on at a refurbished hotel next door at 0800hrs but we were well and truly up and about by then. I would definitely come back to The Imperial again and this is our 4th visit to Hawaii .
Walk to everything”
Walk to everything (i mean everything!) friendly helpful staff, fully equipped kitchen, aircon full blast. We stayed on level 7 and no traffic noise. Just a very lovely experience and plenty of room for our kids to run around to.
Walking distance to main Waikiki area”
It's just one road apart from the beach front. Just step outside, and you'll be surrounded by shops and restaurants and bars. Walk 2 min and you'll already be on Kalakaua Street, and if you follow this, within 5 min you'll be in the mail Waikiki central area. Staff was very friendly too! Room condition is fine, very clearn and spacious.
apartments/suites are very well-designed, with a comfortable bedroom, spacious living-room with a sofa, table & chairs, good-sized open plan kitchenette, and a pull-down bed hidden in the wall to convert the place to a 2-bedroom to sleep 4 people. i think the sofa is convertible so maybe even 6 people could stay in comfort. hotel facilities include gym, sauna, jacuzzi. gym is excellent for aerobic exercise, slightly less well-equipped for muscle work. location is ideal, centre of town, a minute's stroll to the beach and to popular bars & restaurants. i only paid , at which price it's about the same as a standard double in a good-ish hotel, but much more comfortable.
Great location, would stay here again.
Disappointed in hotel rooms.”
Rooms were inadequate. Kitchen was not a full kitchen. Bathrooms were poky and too small. Noise inside rooms was unacceptable and ceiling squares rattled. Noise outside hotel also heard clearly as inadequate window seals. Very disappointed.
Nice clean hotel room close to the beach”
We just stayed here for one night and the hotel room we had (Banyan Suite) was good for our small family of 3 - it was nice and clean and tidy, had great air-con and a small balcony with a view of the water. It had a bedroom with a (small) double bed plus a sofa bed and pull down bed in the living room, but I don't think you'd want 6 adults in there for too long as it would feel cramped. The location is great if you enjoy the bustle of Waikiki - just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and there are lots of shops and restaurants directly downstairs. The check-in time was 4pm which seemed quite late but our room was ready when we arrived around 2.30pm.
Ther were too many ants.
Great location but much to be desired ”
Could not ask for a better location for the price. The room was outdated, but comfortable. The bathroom smelled like body odor, even after leaving the window open all day. The rooftop pool was not as cool as I thought it'd be. There was really not much of a view at all. The hot tubs are not on the same level as the pool, which seemed really odd. The knobs were falling off of the hot tubs. Really, the whole building needs to be renovated. This is a timeshare location. It's would be really upset if I bought a timeshare, and this is what I got. But for just staying for 2 nights, it was adequate.
Excellent stay sorry it was only overnight stopover.
Small room, good location”
Good location (2 min walk to the beach), clean room and facility, long waiting when checking in, room service expected to put sheets on your bed yourself, room is too small when traveling with family
Good to go!”
Good location. Close to beach and the Waikiki Beach sidewalk. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Super convenient!
This hotel was extremely well placed in Waikiki. Everything was within walking distance, or a 5 minute taxi to Ala Moana Mall. The rooms could be updated slightly but honestly, wasn't a big deal. Everything was in full working order, clean and tidy. The murphy bed was awesome (our friend had some doubts about this initially), extremely comfy. It is in a slightly awkward position but easy to pack away during the day if need be. Overall, I would 100% stay here again.
