This hotel is nice and clean”

my point of view jamsil hotel is a good choice because it is located at the strategic location. it’s just 10 to 15 minutes walk from the hotel to sincheon subway station. this hotel also close to coex. near the hotel you can restaurant, seven eleven shop, dunkin dounat and coffee bean. staff at the hotel friendly, helpful and can communicate in english.

Cheap...super cheap”

The location was good and so was the price. Should have been a sign. Our bathroom floor was greasy and the ceiling leaked... The AC was broken and we couldn’t find staff members when we were trying to checkout. If you are looking for super cheap then it is as advertised but I wouldn’t stay here again.

It was just an OK...”

I picked this place for convenience of the location, but it wasn't really convenient... unless you travel by a car. It takes at least 15~20 min walk from any major subway stations (perhaps, if you search for a bus route, that may work better). The hotel facilities are okay, nothing special, quiet... O, one drawback. It was a warm day and night, but the room temperature was about 28 degrees C, and A/C doesn't bring it down cooler. At check-out I mentioned the warm room, I was told it is not the time yet for the airconditiong of the whoe building to work. 'It will start working tomorrow.' That was a bit weird... In conclusion, for just quick one night stay, it's okay~~~

Good clean Hotel”

the hotel is quite near to jamsil station (lotte mart) for stopover to take bus to yongpyong or high1 resort. the only con is you have to take a taxi to the hotel after you drop from the airport bus. overall, the hotel is good and clean. there are family and 7-11 nearby (about 5min walk).

Nice and Clean”

completely satisfied with stay. although only for one night, the hotel was nicely decorated as well as the rooms. it is considered a budget hotel, but i have seen a lot worse. the staff was friendly and accomodating. the location was fair with many restaurants nearby, but the subway station was about a 15 min walk.

Tiny place ”

Jamsil Hotel is about average, the room is tiny and also its bathroom and tiny closet. No extra space for 2nd luggage. TV is not working, bad cable reception. The reception staff are not familiar of the rate of long distance charge per minute for calls outside korea, hence we hesitated to use the hotel's telephone to call back home. The wireless internet in the lobby is not working, the connection is on/off. However, the positive of the hotel is made up by the courteous and kind staff. The hotel is a bit far from subway station. Walking to subways takes around 10-15 minutes brisk walk.

Convenient”

It was very near to the meeting place that I had to go the next morning. Just 1 station away therefore it is a very place to rest for the night. Moreover, this place has a lot of eating place around so no worries that you will starve. The room that I had was very clean and cosy. I arrived into Seoul at 7am and was already at the hotel around 9am. As check in time was at 2pm I left my bags there and went roaming around Seoul. By 1pm I was almost falling asleep on my feet and I checked back with the hotel if they could possibly let me go to the room first. They allowed and I was able to have a good rest before joining the Ahn Jae Wook 14th Summer Camp.

A nice hotel for sleeping”

- the hotel is not that far from the coex mall or gangnam - a foreigner district far less crowded than itaewon. - the staff is very helpful, and everyone who helped me spoke great english. - their cafe served a pretty good american meal for 9500w: fresh muffin, eggs, sausage, oj, coffee, cereal, and salad. - the hotel room was clean, but boring. since we were only using it as a place to sleep, it didn't bother us. - the bed was a little stiff, but not intolerable. - the tv is pretty old, but worked. - small closet and vanity made it a little difficult to unpack and get ready.

Pros - values for room rate, clean, good hot shower, very friendly staffs as they are very responsive to your request, 10-15 minutes walk to Lotte World & Seokchon Lake, cafe street of Seokchon Lake, underground shopping center of Jamsil Station, plus many small restaurants and bars in the neighborhood, a convenience 7-11 store next door Cons - facility is old, the a/c does not work in some rooms, some staffs do not speak good English (although they try very best to communicate & help you) Overall, I will stay at this hotel again to explore the Songpa District on my next visit to Seoul

hotel staff doesn't understand or speak English.”

it wasn't a pleasant experience. there is only one socket avaialble for charging when there are three of us. there are only two sets of towel when there are three of us. communication was a very big problem as hotel stagf do not understand or speak English at all.

Clean and Friendly”

We enjoyed the friendly staff. The rooms looked as if they were in the middle of a restoration. (The bathroom had masking tape around the inside of the door and there was no shower curtain for the bathtub.) The bed was a typical Asian bed, a little small for two Americans, and not very soft. The furniture has a few miles on them, but it was very clean.

Nice comfortable stay”

Staying at the hotel for 2 days and 1 night to attend event at the Olympic Park (around 5-10 minutes using taxi to the park). Hotel was easy to locate. The family room was clean and comfortable. Overall stay was good and no complaints.

Very good value fo money”

Nice small hotel with a typical Korean service which is very friendly and helpfull. Big pro for me becsuse it is close to Samsung Medical Centre (SMC). The hotel offers free transport if you book this one day in advance. Rooms are good, although a bit old. Some bathrooms are refurbished. Free wifi is offered and works great. The hotel offers a buffet style business lunch for a very low price and is excellent. Unfortunately no dinner service but there are many restaurants close by.

Valuable hotel but inconvenient location”

Stay was worth the price, fairly affordable; However, location of the hotel was inconvenient, not easy to find the hotel from the subway station, at least 15 mins walk for a normal pace walking, more than 1km from the station; Nearby streets where you can do some simple shopping, there were street stalls selling necessities, good and groceries supermarket; Friendly English speaking staff, polite and helpful;

Baic hotel. Old but clean.”

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Jamsil subway station. Very easy to find, located on a main road. Check-in was quick and simple, and the room was ready at the check in time. We arrived early and had no problem leaving our bags safely. The main reason to stay was to take our daughter to Lotte World (10-15 minute walk) and Everland (1 hr bus ride from Jamsil) Although the room was at the front of the hotel, it was not noisy.

Good for the price”

This hotel is good for the price. It is clean, and the staff are friendly, although their English wasn't as good as some other Tourist Hotels I've stayed in. If you are looking for comfort, you may want to go up in price, however if you just need a place to lay your head, this is a good option. We stayed here because we were going to Lotte World, so it was good for the one night.

nice hotel with good location”

It was a very friendly staff who was able to help me out with all my needs and was able to speak english very well. The rooms were fairly small and the beds weren't comfy and the location was ok being near a few restaurants and cafes but not that close to nightlife.

Clean basic hotel”

Only stayed a night here but I really liked this hotel because the staff spoke fluent English and was able to help me with my travel plans. Wifi didn't work in my room but I didn't need it anyways. Location isn't the best as its a fare walk to any Metro station.
