Good location”

Nice seaview, Good location. Kids enjoyed the beach and pool. Clean room. Thedownside. A lot of mosquitos. No generator though, theres a brownout for 2 hrs during our stay from 10pm -12am. No ventillation, they didnt have candles, emergency lights or usb fan.

Our stay was peaceful and comfortable. It's a small resort which I really like because we dont like crowded resorts. Beach is just right infront of you room. This is our second time and we will definitely go back.

ONE OF THE MOST RELAXING TRIP EVER!”

When we arrived, we were just so mesmerized by this resort! The beach is right in front of the rooms so you can hear the waves, though I don't recommend swimming in it. Even my sister who is hard to please fell in love with the serenity of the place. We were also satisfied with the food in the restaurant of the resort that we dined there for all our meals in the 3 days that we stayed there - from breakfast to dinner! I was also surprised that there is a free breakfast of bread, 2 eggs, and coffee per pax since I don't think I saw it here. As to the staff/owners, they have by far the best service I have experienced. They catered to all of our requests and even helped us buy a cake for my mom. They also help in booking tricycle to go to whale watching area since it's around 20 mins to go there. The cost is 200 per pax which I thought is expensive, but it is hassle free since we didn't have to queue since the driver did it for us. We'll definitely go back here!

The Lighthouse Resort feels like home away from home”

The staff are very helpful and accommodates all our requests. We ask for our leftover food to be stored in the refrigerator so we can eat them the next day. We are always welcomed with warmth every time we arrive from tours. We stayed for 3 nights and the location is near Bluewater Sumilon and Whale shark watching.

Villa is very exclusive for the guests only. Garden is well taken care of. Laundry is so affordable. Staffs are there at all the time. Very polite, kind, friendly and courteous . Offer you if you need to go somewhere else, either out to see the whales or water falls adventure . We had a great time with them.

I cant find anywhere bettet than here”

i went to this resort two times. It is not far away from town- 10 peso tricycle. 200 peso come and go to whale shark watching in the early morning. Here is very quiet, so i could enjoy deep relaxed time with sea view. There is a private beach directly can go into the sea. Actually the swimming and snorkeling in the sea, watching small colourful fishes swimming were beautiful. Staffs were calmly , and friendly. All of those created amazing retreat for me and mum's trip. I love to go again someday in my life. Thank you lighthouse.

Great view and friendly & helpful staff”

The view is amazing, you go to sleep and wakes up to the sound of the waves from the ocean. For us this was our first time in Philippines and didnt know what to expect really. Oslob is a not a heavy tourist attraction as Bangkok, Phuket etc. Which is good but however the connection on the island is not as well. So we had a problem to withdraw money from 7 different ATMs around Oslob. However the staff was superb! They was so nice and helpful in everyway with this and other thing around too. The locals are very friendly and the environment amazing! Really recommend a trip here and also to stay in The Lighthouse resort.

it was very nice staying before, and i came back again. yes, it is very nice to come back. here was perpect place for me and my mum. the view in the room and in front of room was beautiful. the wave, flowers, trees, wind and light house created calm and beautiful harmony. i just enjoyed with my mum relaxing and lazyness in the swimming pool or in the sea, walked around nearby or took the tricycle to the town...but it was more than best. also appreciate kind & smiley staffs. thank you.

We really enjoyed it here, staff were so sweet and kind, booked our whale watching for us with a nice guide to show around. Room fine, pool is awesome after snorkeling. Only 20pesos (10min ride on taxi scooter) into main Oslob town.

Pool and Beach, very friendly people, ideal for familly”

We had only one overnight there but we wish we could have stayed longer. As we wanted to come back it was fully booked, not surprizing! Thank you for your help organizing our pick off from Cebu and further travel to liloan! And thanks that you cooked for us in the evening as we arrived late in your place

Lovely hotel, lovely staff”

This is a real little gem of a hotel. The rooms are simple but equipped with what you need. The pool area and little private beach as well as the cute little ‘lighthouse’ lit up at night make a really nice setting, and it is all located a very easy distance from the whale shark swim making the early start manageably early. The manager is really lovely and always happy to help with arranging trips or transfers, or with meals or drinks.. the food menu is small but with some lovely options, unfortunately quite a few things were not available, which was understanding as there were very few guests when we stayed but still a shame as there is little else available close by... that said all the food we had was really very good. Highly recommend this place!!

Like all Filipinos I have met in hotels/resorts, the proprietorsame of this resort go out of their way to help and assistance you any way they can. The one downside to this property which it common with all resorts is they advertise a swimming pool, which is not big enough to swim in.

Great Place and Value for Money”

The Lighthouse is visibly situated next to the main highway from Cebu to Oslob and you can tell the bus driver to alight u conveniently next to its entrance. The place is generally well-maintained, clean and quiet, and it's good to have their own small private beach and a swimming pool. There is nothing fancy about the room, and at least it has a functioning hot shower and cold aircon. However, there is no bar fridge and you actually have to ask the owner (Margie or her husband) to allow you to put your cold stuffs or drinks in their kitchen fridge. Free breakfast is provided and it's a simple Pinoy breakfast with eggs cooked fresh when u are ready to eat. The location is relatively far from the Oslob town and whale watching sites (about 10-15 mins by tricycle), but at least you can easily get a tricycle transport from php8/pax per trip. We usually travel like this to town for cheaper and more variety of foods, rather than eating in the resort's restaurant.

Amazing place. Extraordinary hospitality”

The place has everything we need. A small private beach and a nice pool. Margie is amazing and the rest of the staff so accommodating. They even cooked food for us that's not in the menu. They even did our laundry. I would definitely come back. I already promoted the place to my family and place. They arranged the trips for us and took care of our food. It's an 8 pesos tricycle ride to the city center and a 20 minute ride to whale shark activity which they can also arrange your ride.

Amazing stay”

We had an amazing stay at the Lighthouse resort. The friendliness and superb customer service of the staff especially Margie is really commendable. The place is like your own rest house, you can request whatever dish your want in every meal from fresh seafoods to grilled or bbq pork for a very reasonable price. Margie is very accommodating, you will feel so at home at this place plus the relaxing ocean view right outside your room.
