A nice place to stay”
The staff (owner) is very accommodating and very considerate, the room is okay and worth the price. Will surely go back again. 5 stars!

Nice service but no hot water”
The service is so good, a little bit far away from the Alona Beach, sleep good.

I say I would recomend but with reservations”
Staff are helpful (as they could be but a bit under staffed but it is still under construction and if you want to eat you have to go into Alona beach or similar. They did have a bar with coffee (or boiling water available if you brought your own tea which I did). Our room was upstairs were the TV was on wifi but the signal didn't really reach there. If you had signal was only for like Netflix and they hadn't set up a login for that so really no TV. Apart from that Aircon was good and we had a fridge, clean room and hot water shower. Water pressure could have been better though (or more concentrated shower head). It was cheap through Agoda though (1300 peseos) so pretty good value for money. Maybe it will be better once finished (it is mostly finished now but some rooms still being finalised and hopefully they will put cable in upstairs as part of that).

Not a place for backpackers”
The dorm it's clean, but the place itself is not for backpackers, there's not many around and no real common area where to hang out, mostly it would be good for couples, I think. The staff is great. Dorm is overpriced for what it offers. There's better and cheaper options around

Value for money, friendly environment ”
I stayed there one night, the owner was there and we shared some stories before I head to the beach, he gave me few tips where to go, and his wife was kind and helpful, I also made friends with the other travelers and we were sharing stories up until we fall asleep, if u stay there u need to rent motorbike ( don’t worry they provide it in there )

Previous review was too bad”
Oh I just found out that they messaged me and tried to accommodate us even if they didn't have available rooms but it was too late. I haven't even read it until I came back from vacation.

Room was tiny but its alright. the shower, toilet and washbasin was mixed together in one small shared bathroom.

the fan rooms are terrible”
the place itself looks quite nice and the staff are really friendly but the fan rooms are bloody awful. It’s hotter in there than it is outside and full to the brink of bugs.

Good ambiance but uncomfortable bed”
It's really nice ambiance. Nothing to complain about it. It's just the bed is very uncomfortable. They did not removed the plastic cover of the foam, so it's noisy every time I move. I wasn't able to get enough sleep.

Major Disaster!!”
Me and my friends decided to book at Roberto's because we planned to be near the glamping site that just opened near the area. We booked two rooms on January 11th and it was confirmed. Then Roberto's rep informed us that they do not have available rooms on January 30th, just three days away from our check in date. It was difficult to look for another hotel because almost every hotel is fully booked that time. They did not have the decency to inform us far ahead that they don't have available rooms. Then we heard that they are currently on renovation.

Great hospitality”
Best place to stay on Panglao, fiendly staff, close to Alona beach, motorbike rental with good prices on site, clean room with aircon and satelite TV. The biggest advantage is Roberto's cuisine - tasty burgers, breakfast and pizza. It is even better than Guiseppe recomended by Lonely Planet. Staff are always outgoing, friendly and helpfull. Worth every peso spent on it.

Affordable hotel and only place I found with dorm”
Roberto's Resort is recommendable because of its affordability and walking distance to beach. The staff is easy to talk to and attentive. Will stay here again if ever I travel solo to Bohol in the future.

Average grading but can still be improved”
Staying at Roberto's is just the average, don't expect much, you only get what you paid for. It's not beach front probably a kilometer away but they have a free shuttle service(Habal-Habal or Scooter)to take you at the beach, while ride back to resort is up to you. They have quiet surroundings, clean & comfy rooms which we liked most aside from the resort's budget wise rates. They serve meals and also have a bar at night but we both didn't tried it since we dine at Acquatico resort. Staffs are just the average as well, mostly they're not in the front desk so you really have to call out loud. If we'll visit Panglao again, we'd probably try another resort. But if you don't mind a type of accommodation that's far from the beach, then Roberto's resort will do.

More than it seems!”
Came here as we want a place closer to Alona beach. Though not within walking distance, at Roberto's Resort offers rental motorbike. And we did, we got to explore various places. A full tank barely cost 100 pesos. We preferred DumaLuan Beach to Alona, less crowd. We would come back here again and rental of motorbike much cheaper here.

GO ROBERTO!”
We extended our stay here at Roberto's as we felt comfortable here. One big plus is, the affordable rental rates for bike to get around. They were pretty negotiable as we told them on the check out day we would like to take a spin to the store to get supplies before returning the bike. We were told its alright to do so without any extra charge but just need us to fill it with gas. We returned the bike with a full tank as the staff there were good to us. We will make a come back here next time, next year. Thank you Roberto and your great team of staff!

Excellent relaxing resort!”
We stayed in a deluxe air-con room with WiFi, fridge-freezer, cable TV, en-suite bathroom with hot shower. The room was large, modern and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the owner was very pleasant. The resort is about 10 minutes away from Alona beach by tricycle (50 pesos) and is lovely and relaxing and chilled out, with a nice little garden too. You can use the kitchen there to cook your own food if you want to and they charge you 50 pesos per meal that you cook. It was one of the staff members' birthday when we were there and we got invited and got a lovely free meal and drinks. Awesome! We loved our stay there and if I had had time I would have extended my stay here by at LEAST one week! Top marks for this hotel from me. We would definitely stay there again.

The most accommodating resort we stayed in whilst in the Philippines!! Would highly recommend!!”
As soon as we arrived, we instantly felt welcome and at home! Roberto - the owner was there to greet us and was the nicest guy! Mae Mae, the reception manager, checked us in early as our rooms were ready! The rooms / beds were big and spacious, clean and had an lCD tv, plus a fridge/freezer and we could even make our own ICE! (It's the little things) we had Aircon too and the food was cheap and tasty! The cook - Angelo an italian chef was also the coolest guy!! So accommodating. We had been there 2 hours and already extended our stay by another day ( 4 nights total) and would easily stay a whole week! We had the best stay here. We felt right at home and felt as if we've known them years and would defo stay again when we return to the Philippines! We could rent a moped from roberto to get about and it's the way forward, much cheaper than getting a tricycle everywhere and Angelo told us to visit The Best beach. It was paradise! And so close to the resort. I would highly recommend staying

Very nice place with fantstic staff!”
This place I highly recommend, simple but clean and very wonderful and helpful staff. Really worth the money. Even that Roberto's not placed so close to Alona center the motorbike fee is about the lowest around.

Nice, quiet a friendly place”
Roberto (owner) is friendly, nice and smile guy who help you with any request. He rent us motorbike (scooter) for 300PHP/24h. and recomend us where to go in the city. Resort has own small bar, all other facilities are in town (5minutes by bike). Only con is that receptionest inform us we can check-out any time we want but Roberto told us that chceck-out was at 12AM and he asked for more money even when want to stay for only 2 more h. and resort was completly empty.
