Stuff is so frindly helps u knows locals and give u much inspiration for tours around. 2day 1 night safari was super also half day hike with local jami and the 3h boat trip on the river. The treehouses are super clean and gives u fealing to be alone in the wild. Monkeys like to have breakfast too:) Thank u our stay great

Wonderful stay while visiting Khao Sok”
The staff were extremely helpful and informative during our stay. I would definitely recommend the resort to anyone visiting Khao Sok national park. We got a bit lost finding the resort, but the receptionist came to find us on her motorbike and led us in the right direction! The food at their restaurant was very good, and the reception staff gave us some great ideas about places to visit in the area that we wouldn't have found otherwise.

Ti and his staff prepare a great breakfast every morning. His omelet is the best. There's also fresh salads, fried rice, fruits, sausages and ham and of course pancakes. Don't worry about some negative reviews about the food at this hotel. Also we read some negative reviews about the pool not being clean. Well, we stayed just above the pool for three night and I can tell you it's being cleaned every morning, including fresh chloride. Our three year old daughter loved the pool. We too. The staff at the reception is great, friendly and really helpful. It's only a short walk to the main street from the hotel.

Wonderful resort in middle of the jungle, far from the park entrance(2km) but close to the main road”
We stayed only just for a passing point before Cheow Lan lake, so we weren't a the park. Pros: - Sleeping in the middle of the wood - amazing view in daylight. - Possible for a day tour in the park with transportation. - Close to the main road - Restaurants area is only 10 min away in walking (through shortcut) Cons: - Far from park entrance (2km) - No change except for one with a bad rate. - Pool is not a big hit... Maybe for kids אנחנו ישנו שם רק כנק' מעבר לפני אגם צ'ו לאן אז לא היינו בפארק. יתרונות: ישנים באמצע יער - באור יום זה נראה מהמם אפשר לסגור טיולי יום בשמורה עם הסעות קרוב לכביש הראשי איזור המסעדות נמצא יחסית קרוב - 10 דק' הליכה (דרך הקיצור - לא לכיוון הכביש הראשי) חסרונות: רחוק מהכניסה לפארק ( 2 ק"מ) אין צ'יינג' באיזור חוץ מאחד בתעריף לא משתלם הבריכה לא להיט... אולי רק לילדים

Great flora room and amazing staff”
We have a great experience living in the rock and treehouse as we love nature so much. The rooms are surrounded by the trees and animals such as huge toads, monkeys, birds and many more. Amazing feeling when the staff offered a plate of breakfast for my toddler which has been included in the hotel fee. We were being treated well. But the cleanliness can be improved more.

Beautiful views near the beaches, value for money but needs TLC ”
For the rate we paid over several nights we were overall satisfied enough. The great views and quiet location on a hill was superb. The staff was super awesome! Be forewarned that some of the rooms are in serious need of TLC (close to unusable), some are newish, and some look really great - know what you will get before you go. We changed rooms several times for various reasons and they were helpful. Breakfasts were great as was the pool area. This resort would be top notch with some dedicated updating and fixing - the cleaning was good everyday but some of the rooms are simply in disrepair and no amount of cleaning can overcome those issues. We hope to return knowing what we know and would recommend to those on a reasonable budget, who also want a quiet little retreat near beaches.

Ok but overpriced”
Interesting property but a bit of a walk to any restaurants or services (1.5 km to town). Nice staff and tours available from the front desk. Pool was unavailable. Cheaper options elsewhere looked more pleasant.

Beautiful environment, great kitchen, kind staff”
We had a realy pleasant stay at this resort. We stood here for 5 nights, mu (the manager) arranged the transfer to the hotel from phuket airport for us. We arrived lately and ontop our bags stuck in Abu Dhabi so we arrived with nothing but the clothes we wear. The busdriver kindly stopped at khao lak to that we could buy some clothes and hygienic stuff. Nevertheless we arrived at 10pm at the resort they offered us some realy delicious food for dinner. The place itself fantastic, you will find nice and clean rooms, nestled right in the trees of this tropical forest. You are surrounded just by the nature. At nighttime, just sit in the terrace in front of your room and listen to the sound of nature. Compared to most of the other places around khao sok, this one is away from the main streets and you are not bothered by the sound of cars and buses. A few hundred meters from the resort, you will find a beautiful place where you can take a swim in the khao sok river. That was a great refreshment and far better than any kind of a swimming pool could be. If you do not know how to get there, the staff will of course help you out ;-) The overall friendliness of the staff was amazing, the quality of the food also. Especially Mu was extremely helpful and realy took care of us and our welfare. We also booked two tours through the resort, we went for the elephant tour and the Cheow Lan Lake Tour, both trips where very nice and we had a lot of fun. We definitely recommend Rock and Treehouse Resort and will come back when we are in Khao Sok next time!

Wonderful, clean and comfortable hotel in amazing location”
We absolutely loved our time here. The staff were amazing, they go out of their way to help and were always kind, caring and patient with my young children. They assisted with booking excursions and providing everything we needed. They even ran out to meet us with umbrellas when it was raining. The location is incredible right ‘in’ the jungle, we were in an upper bungalow and the views were really amazing - what a view to wake up to! The excursions we booked through the hotel were great too, the lake trip is a must and we really enjoyed canoeing as well. We enjoyed the food, although others may not be impressed. I think for the price it wasn’t that inspiring, although my son loved the grilled ham and cheese sandwiches! The resort could be closer to the ‘main road’ and park entrance but this didn’t bother us as we were happy to stay on site and go on excursions. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel, we loved our room, the staff and our whole experience.

Very nice resort”
Everything was ok, we liked the room, the food en and the canoe trip on the Sok river. But the tour to Khao Sok that we booked by your resort was a disaster especially with a guide like "big man" He never show us a license. He never give any explanation and when we ask him a question he laugh with us. Smiley Rafthouse was basic but ok for one night. WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED about the irresponsable trip.

Great Location, hard bed”
I loved our stay at the Rock and tree house. The resort was breathtakingly beautiful, built right into the jungle. The breakfast was great, the hostess was wonderful and spoke English perfectly. My only complaint was the bed. It was so hard I could only sleep for 2-3 hours. If the beds were comfortable I would definitely come back and stay longer.

Friendly Staff”
The location, with a car, is close to the park entry, restaurants and shops. Plenty of walkers on the roads, however. We booked a lake tour with the hotel, drove to the pier to meet the boatman, it was a phenomenal day trip. With 4 yr. old, we enjoyed night swims in the pool, he loved the pool. The catwalks and stairs are something to consider for families with a lot of gear. Bummed on the price point of room, a bit high in our opinion. Staff was great, however and we really enjoyed the location, jungle, with rock cliffs tower right above.

Lovely treehouses”
The location is located a short walk from the main street where all restaurants and other hotels are, be prepared to have a light (either from phone or pocket lamp) with you as the path is pitch black at night. The treehouses are lovely, there are older and newer ones, we got an old one and it was still nice. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. The cook makes an awesome grilled chicken (pre-order at least one hour in advance) and chicken soup.
