Got to be the best hotel i have ever stayed in.”
The room was clean and modern with a balcony overlooking the bay of Gibraltar. There is a nice pool with a bar. Not to busy plenty of sun loungers. I paid £140 a night room only no breakfast which i thought was a good decision as you can walk into Gib and get cheaper food. I think the room cost more because i was staying over National Day. It is a bit of a walk into Gib though and the taxis are expensive here. Would i stay here again, YES. PS The noise from the boats at night can keep you awake so i bought some ear plugs.

Good hotel at the gilbraltar rock”
Big room, comfortable bed, nice view
I had a pleasant stay. Big room, nice view from my room. Although I would say the steps on the main entrance is not so ideal for carrying huge luggages like what I had. Also, long wait at the reception. Overall though it was quite good. But the hotel is still abit overpriced.

If it's good enough for Churchill!”
Interior design, staff, views
A very nice stay & impressed with the new refurb. Breakfast was average & the coffee was disgusting. Staff friendly & helpful. Surprised there was no gym

Outstanding Views across the Straits”
Outstanding views and a visit by a Barbary Ape were the highlight
I'm sorry, but other than the views Gibraltar and The Rock hotel have little to recommend them. The hotel staff were surly, the breakfast appalling. The views were outstanding, however. Gibraltar itself was utterly depressing and seemed to embody everything about "Brits abroad" that I do my best to avoid (and I'm British). Awful place. I'm afraid it also earns the dubious award of "worst meal I have ever had - anywhere" and I have traveled extensively and eaten in some pretty questionable establishments over the years. If I had wanted curry sauce out of a jar, I'd have asked for it. Revolting. If you want Fish and Chips and Irish bars, however, knock yourself out.
