Awesome location, great value hotel”
Love this hotel so much. Breakfast was great; had it by the fireplace. Location of hotel is very near to the lake; easy to take the ship for sightseeing on Lake Ashi. Staff are all helpful and room itself was clean. We had a room with private shower, and love it very much.

This hotel has capsule rooms and real rooms. Lovely longe to hang out in. Drinks are reasonably priced. Location: great. easy to walk down to tourist attractions - bus stop near by.

Good facilities and location”
I could use the accommodation comfortably. The operator was kind and the interior was good. However, it was regrettable that there were traces of someone's use of the cleanliness when entering the guest room. I was able to experience old Japanese traditional houses. The facility was old, but the operator was friendly and the breakfast I had at an additional charge was good. The bathroom and shower room are shared, but I'm satisfied with the price.

Perfect for the weekend getaway”
Very nice and cozy place to stay if you want to be near the Ashi Lake. Room was very confortable and the bed as well. We stayed at the superior room for more confort and private shower.

Great little hostel / hotel - I stayed in one of the private rooms and it was lovely, kitted out with everything you would need and nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable and shower was really good in the bathroom. Would recommend and thought was excellent value.

Cosy place ”
This hotel is near to the lake at motohankone which is a very long journey from yumoto-Hakone station. The place has woody feel and even has a fireplace at the lobby area. Nice and cosy dim light atmosphere. They don’t do make up room daily and guests are not allowed to check in before 4 pm. Guests also not allow to wait at the lobby area before 4 pm. However, they do allow to keep your luggages and even place it in your room before you check in. Nice gesture.

New and beautiful place”
Pros: we got an upgrade, the design is beautiful and the staff nice. Cons: the night staff didn't wear the mask, the indications to the toilers are not very clear.

The breakfast was super yummy..a big size set meal we enjoyed sitting around the fire place. We also ordered the dinner ala cart as the nearby restaurants were closed. the dinner food chicken curry set,Tandoori chicken plate as well as pizza were very tasty and value for money. Rooms per small n overpriced, may be as we booked last minute but a good option to stay.

This is a capsule... Don't call that a room, have the decency to write in the description that you have only 80 centimeters high!!! And have a capsule on top of it, you hear all... Paying 75 euros for that it is a joke

Great little spot and unbeatable price compared to other places in the area. It has a fireplace & a guitar in the lobby where travelers gather and exchange stories in the evening. I had a medium tier room. (Room that fit a double bed & enough space to stand / shared bathroom and showers) 5 min walk to the pier and you can see the famous Tori gate & Mt. Fuji (on a clear day) Breakfast and dinner were both amazing and should def be added! Not much to complain other than a few spiderwebs in the lower tier hallways and a rollibug in the shower that made me a bit paranoid. Room was clean!

Near hakone shrine”
The location is near to the hakone shrine which is the main reason i chose this place. the room is quite small but comfortable, shared toilet really small and cramped, otherwise everything was fine

Solid, with a couple caveats”
First, the pros: - Very cheap. I had a private room and while it made my college dorm look like a palace, it got the job done. - Mattress was fairly comfortable - The lobby area, especially with the fireplace at night, was really comfortable - Sound insulation. I didn't hear noise from any other guests at night Cons: - LOW CEILINGS. Anyone who's 6 feet or over should permanently duck their heads. Everything from doorways to ceilings when climbing stairs are a hazard - Location is a mixed bag. It's an amazing location for tourism, but almost all restaurants shut down by 6ish and the bus passes through 2x per hour. Either have dinner elsewhere before returning to the hotel, or be prepared to have dinner courtesy of 7-11 or Lawson.

That was a very good hotel. I had never go like that hotel before. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and excellent. Value for the money. You can enjoy lake ashi with a morning tea in this place. Nice view. Recommended

This is a great little place to stay while you see Hakone”
I stayed here for 2 nights. The common area with the fireplace is really great and I met lots of other travellers here. Nice decor too. Hakone in general is quiet so you can't get a meal anywhere after around 8pm, but there's a Lawson's v close so you can get food from there.
