Management is great”
I accidentally booked the wrong dates here. The owner (?) or manager was really nice about it and allowed me to change the dates to the correct day without any change in fee. Also very helpful that he is fluent in English. The room itself is very nice - good shower, really worth the price point. It's also very close to the station but still in the cute neighborhood part. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Pros: 1. Location is great! 2. The person who answers our questions via text message is also good and helpful. 3. It's good that once you are inside the rooms, you won't hear noises/chatters of other guests. This is really good. Cons: 1. Facilities are somewhat lacking. It will be more interesting to stay if there is some sort of common area/kitchen/dining room where guests can hang out or cook simple meals. 2. We think, there should be at least water dispenser for guests. 3. In the family room, we think that the hot water is not working.

I highly recommend Roi House !! First, it is located at a hip area for mostly young people for shopping and many other establishments. While I am not as young as most of the crowd in Hongdae area, I still enjoy the area very much. Roi house is very near the exit #3 of Hongik University station. There is a nice park if you wanted to walk and sit for relaxing. While I stayed at the dorm room for females, I have seen the private rooms and they are beautiful and I believe they all have private bathroom and showers. The staff is always very kind. Kim is very hardworking and does a great job to keep the Roi House in great shape. Whether you are traveling or you just need a break from things even if you live in Korea, Roi House has that therapeutic effect to let you move forward while you enjoy what Hongdae area offers. :)

This place was perfect for what I needed - very clean, central, but also quiet. Staffs are really kind and helpful. The communication was perfect. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything ROI house :)

2nd stay!”
At the 1st time I stay here was the duplex room but this is the 2nd time here as a solo traveler. Everything was good. Only one bad thing is when you got a huge luggage with you, you gotta bring them up to your room. They provide the tiny towel so you need to bring your own towel. Location is good, its in Hongdae area but not that crowed and loud at night. Cafe nearby are so goood!

- I think I took almost 10 mins to reach to the hotel from Hongik Subway - Coffee shop downstairs - Staff can speak English - Daily change towel and empty the bin - Cafe nearby and they are sooo good! - Easy to find restaurants - It's in Hongdae area but you can get the good sleep here. - Self check-in (they'll contact you via Whatsapp or Line application and tell you the main door and room password) CONS - NO STAIRS imagine that you a big luggage with you, yes, you have to climb up to the room with you stuff

All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They helped me with my luggage once I got to the door which made me felt like home :) Breakfasts were simple but great. If you got time, you may wanna chat with one of the staff who is a professional photographer and he might give you good personal advice in life kk The only bad thing for a party person would be that you can't shower between 11pm-6am, which is quite early for an owl like myself haha

Room is clear and quiet. The manager there is so kind and helpful, he come out to lead us to the homestay after calling him for guidance. It’s about 10 minutes walking distance from Hongik University Subway station.
