Remote and poorly managed hotel, the premium bungalows were more like glamping than a hotel”
Nice beach, quiet with lots of Loungers but nothing else going for this place. The restaurant was ok and beach bbq pretty good. Super slow staff and reception is an absolute joke

staffs, beach,quiet, very eco
It was good. Transportation to the resort needed a bit of arrangement. But all went well. I liked the vacation. The island is isolated, which means there is only one restaurant from the resort. Room is basic. Beach is nice.

Bad experience. Food was poor. ”
Private beach, free pick up from Koh Tac to Romdoul, Room rate affordable
i had an argument with the owner of the hotel when I just arrived. He required me to fill in my card details eventhough I had paid fully through Agoda. He said it was for the purpose of proving that I had arrived and stayed at the hotels. Ofc I refused to do so and I only signed on the registration form. Food was very poor and very expensive compared to Koh Tac beach. The room was not clean. There was no beach activity as advertised, no bar/club around so we had to take a $30 round ferry trip to Koh Tac at night. Staffs speak very little English so it was very inconvenient. The pier infront of the resort is being expanded so it was very dangerous to get on and off the ferry. Overall, it was very disappointing and it ruined our expectation

Serious Disappointment ”
Beach, quiet, food
I usually never write negative reviews but this place is my exception. This was my second visit and I took my family here for 4 days. My last experience was great and the beaches and property are really awesome and chill. I knew about the tours coming in everyday, I knew the food was average and I knew it was rustic but this visit was seriously disappointing. We were the only ones on the resort aside from the daily tours. We ended spending 2 days in the main beach to get away from the horrible service. Cons -The daily tour groups were massive (150+) and completely took over the resort. We were actually told we had to wait for lunch so the group could finish their buffet. -Next to no English which made it complicated to order food and many of our orders were wrong and took a long time to communicate what we wanted. -Forced to pay for a second cup of coffee at the "free breakfast" -We asked for a fruit plate and were told that they didn't have any but when we looked to the table beside us they had watermelon -No soap or toiletries were offered -They ran out of vodka, rum and wine - No Wifi the entire time even though they advertise this -They charged astronomical prices for using their toys and activities ($35 for one hour on an ATV) - No room change/clean until the second last day -We asked to have the rooms swept and they literally handed my mom a broom -Power goes every night so don't bother with paying extra for a/c Pros -Cleaned beach everyday -Food had improved greatly since my last visit Not recommended. This place didn't seem to grasp the idea of hospitality. Especially since we were the only ones there. All my other experiences when travelling in low season have been great and usually people will go the extra mile for you. The complete opposite is true here.

Not even built yet”
I fell they should not even be open yet. No staff. No room even built yet. Sewage and waste everywhere. 25 minutes for a drink. No seats at bar. Bad food. So disappointed we left. They put us in one of the staffs rooms. Dirty beach, loads of building work happening. Over charging boat ride to get to resort(25 dollars). The staff have no idea what they are doing. Don't stay here!

Island getaway”
Location
Overall stay was simple. Resort was located away from shops etc. No convenience store etc so bring what you need here. Don't make mistake of getting dropped off at the main pier because it is about 5km away from all the action. They have their own restaurant. Not much choices on the menu. Services were poor. Staff were standing around chit chatting instead of serving. We were there at low season. Not many people around so that was great! Beach , swim and fish!!!

Must-try experience”
Nice & supportive staffs, private & beautiful beach, reasonable price
First, we sent email & message on Facebook to the resort for further info and they replied just within a day. Then, we had some troubles as catching the wrong speedboat which may cost us 5$ more per head for a small boat taking us to the resort. However, after a quick call to the resort, they happily agreed to pay for us. The resort welcomed us with exciting music & quick check-in service so we could immediately enjoy the beauty of the beach there. Very private and beautiful sea shore. The only negative point was about the electricity which will be off around 2am to 6am. However, as I may know, this is the common situation of most resorts in Koh Rong island & Koh Rong Sanloem. Anw, the good service at this resort made me wanna come back to this heavenly island in the near future, despite the very long time sitting on bus & boat.

bedbugs!!!”
Free boat to the resort and back from the main village/pier
all in all not satisfied. the staff seems to be like children from the school. they dont know how to do good Service, but they are friendly. I agree with the reviews before, you have to pay for everything. locker = 2 Dollar a day. I had never to pay for a valuables locker at the reception before!!! outrageous!!! The food ist different from day to day and really not good all in all. Chinese groups come the for day trips to the beach. They can disturb you the whole day in comparison to the lonely and great beach the other days! they are so loud and rude. the worst thing are BEDBUGS. Horror...4 days later, now...we have still sleepless nights and because it itches so much. big red dots all over the body. When the weather is nice, the beach and the water are really beautiful. but buy some coconut oil in the main village against sandflies, which are everywhere on koh rong. i would advise to bring your own water from sihanoukville and instant tea and coffea or soups, every bungalow has an watet boiler. bungalows are really new but simple, only one big and a table, not more. nothing where you can put your stuff out of your bags. water to shower is dirty, sometimes looks brown. all in all, would not recommend. never again!

amazing island escape”
peaceful escape, beautiful beach, relaxing atmosphere
The resort is located on a very nice beach, away fein the city. It is the ideal place for people who want to relax and get away from the city. The restaurant sells delicious food but is quite expensive. If you want to make a little trip to the main city on the island, a free shuttle service is provided, but sometimes it doesn't run if the waves are too high. we enjoyed ourselves in our bungalow with the beautiful view on the beach, drank cocktails under the palmtrees and just relaxed.

Great quiet beach but ...”
Warm sea water, view, big umbrellas
The rooms are big enough and clean enough but there was a smell coming from the drain to the septic tank. We had a nice balcony that could have used a hammock but had a good view. Be warned, there is no toilet paper on the resort. You are asked to use the water gun to clean up after using the toilet. They do not give you the option to use toilet paper and trash it like most places do. Also every other day or so the usually quiet resort is floded by hoards of chinese tourists that come over for a day trip. Get your umbrella early as they will take them all. On those days the beach is not so peacefull and you loose a lot a intimacy. The food is ok but irregular; the same meal might not taste the same thing twice. The staff is nice, they do not speak a lot of english, our orders were ok but we noticed that a lot of people were not getting what they ordered. There isnt as much water activities available from the resort as it says on the agoda listing, basically you can rent a kayak and snorkel gear. No guide. They do offer free shuttle to koh thui. To be fair, the resort had only been opened for 2 months when we stayed there. We still had a nice relaxing time, the beach is clean and the water is nice to swim in. They also have big blown up water toys which is great for kids but kinda ruins the view. Also there was this awful smell In the restaurant as if something had died under the deck. And they do burn the trash fairly close to the bungalows so you could be annoyed by the smells. Still the place is beautiful and quiet ( we its just the resort customers) and somewhat remote.

I don't recommend this hotel.”
Only friendly staffs.
This is like an isolated island which take you about 20 mins go by boat from the main beach in Koh Rong island. Hotel has their own transportation (an old boat for fishmen!!!) but you have to pay, quite expensive and not comfort at all. I don't recommend this hotel for those who like entertainment life at night because they don't have any entertainment for customers, except a mini bar on the beach and restaurant which have some simple western food and traditional khmer food. Beach is not nice, not pure and have a lot of seaweeds, I even couldn't swim. Clean is just standard with double bed and fan but electricity is very weak. Bathroom is clean but smelly, i guess the smell comes from the sewers. In my opinion, it can't be a resort, just a 2-3 star hotel.

Nature beach oui mais..........”
Bungalow, calme
