Great hotel, friendly staff, fantastic location”
We recently stayed for four nights at the Rome Life Hotel. The hotel is very well situated (about 15 minutes walk from locations such as the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain) in the Monti neighbourhood. Our room was very modern, clean and spacious and the hotel provided a complimentary mini-bar (non-alcoholic) on our first night which was very welcome. The breakfast buffet was fabulous - fresh fruit, numerous cereals, breads, pastries and hot food too - and really set us up well for the day. All the staff were very friendly and all spoke good English (our Italian is non-existent). What capped the stay for us was that it was my wife's birthday - we had not mentioned this but my wife had put her birthday cards on the dressing table - and they left some lovely cakes in our room! We could not fault the hotel and will definitely book again when next in Rome

In a word, PERFECT”
This hotel is superb. The location is perfect, in a relatively quite street, yet within easy walking distance of all the major sights and very close to the train and bus station. The rooms were very modern with the most comfy bed and everything was spotless. The mini bar was included although it was not replenished. This was fine as that gives ample room to store your own wine or soft drinks etc., keeping everything nice and cool. The shower and toilet were also very clean and modern with a good selection of toiletries. We were given an iron and ironing board to use, which was really useful. One of the standout things for me was how quiet the room was. I'm a light sleeper and I didn't hear anything from the other guests (no paper thin wallls here). Even the air con was whisper quiet. Breakfast was excellent, with everything you could think of from scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage to cold meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, pastries (the list is endless). This was just the job to set you up for a busy day sightseeing. Only a light lunch was then required. The staff were very friendly and attentive, offering advice and assistance where needed. If I were to return to Rome, I would most definitely stay at The Rome Life Hotel and would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone.

Excellent stay”
There were a multitude of perks that came with our stay at Rome Life Hotel. Breakfast was superb! The first of minibar treats were complementary. We couldn’t believe it and had to double and triple check with the front desk. It was a comfortable stay. The only caveat was that one of the beds was a bit uncomfortable to sleep in for my 17 year old who had a backache after each night. The other beds were comfortable. They seemed to have solved the problem of the open shower that does not provide enough privacy with a removeable screen. All in all I would recommend this hotel for a stay close to everything in the city of Rome.

Assistant Director of Operations - Hawaii Public Radio”
I was employed by a major airline for 25 years and had stayed in many hotels during my career. Rome Life Hotel is at the top of my list. The front desk staff was excellent and genuinely cared about our stay and helped us in getting to know Rome. Great location within walking distance to tourist attractions, shopping, eateries, with access to taxi, bus and trains. Their breakfast and bar staff were excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting Rome.

Great Hotel”
Ideally & centrally located within walking distances to good Italian restaurants like L'Antica Fraschetta (06-48913367); great shopping near Spanish Steps where there is a wishing fountain; also close to Colosseo, Musei Vaticani & other sightseeing spots. All staff are helpful and warm. Breakfast is great too and there's a mini bar for free on our first night stay. Bedrooms, shower and bathrooms are spacious and clean. Full comfort and much satisfaction can be attained from Rome Life Hotel. Will recommend friends to Roman Life hotel as the best choice to stay during our vacation in Rome.

Good base for some time in Rome”
Rome Life is relatively central, located in a quiet street behind one of the more major roads that lead to the major sights. A 15 minute walk to the colosseum and Roman forum, 15 minutes to the Spanish Steps, 10 minutes walk to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountains and 35 minutes walk to Vatican City. There is a nice restaurant located directly opposite which was great upon arriving. The hotel is clean, modern and has friendly staff. The breakfast selection was very good. Room again was clean and modern, but very warm even for March. Our room must have been located near some external air conditioning units or such like which were quite noisy, but not enough to be a real issue. There is a roof terrace you can use on the 5th floor. Overall a good base that we would recommend.

Modern hotel with great location & large room”
This hotel is about 4 years old and well kept. Hotel is very new, modern and has large room which is unusual for Europe hotel. The bed is very comfortable, the minibar has soft drink juice and water for free but no refill. The breakfast was really nice they also made great coffee. they also provide a phone for you to use while in Rome but don’t expect too much the phone is old so internet is slow we end up using our own but if u need to make a call it’s nice. Overall the experience was great. One feedback for the hotel is the breakfast they pack for us on our early flight out was terrible. It was just water juice, a pack of small cookie and crackers. Consider the price of the hotel and breakfast was included in the price, they should at lease pack a sandwich for us.

Amazing hotel!!”
This hotel is new and well kept. The staff is awesome, friendly, helpful, speak many languages. The rooms are fantastic. Comfortable, spacious. The bathrooms are new and work perfectly. You even get complimentary slippers. The breakfast is probably one of the best I've had in a hotel. Has pretty much everything. Plus they actually brew you a fresh coffee when you arrive (or tea of you want). Location is perfect. Walked to all the sites east of the river and west of the train station. Colosseum is literally a 10-15 min walk. We only had to take the metro to the Vatican because it's further away. Also a 5 min drive in taxi to the train station. From there you can go to the airport or pretty much anywhere else! This hotel was great. Comfortable, nice people and an awesome breakfast to get you ready for the morning. Oh... And Internet worked just fine too! The only very minor issue was some people outside singing Italian songs (like karaoke maybe?) into the night... Maybe up until 11pm-midnight. We weren't bothered by it because we were up a little late (time difference). But I can see how that may other some. Anyway! Would come back to this same hotel if I were going back to Rome!

Easy to find hotel in convenient location ”
Reception staff were knowledgeable, informative and very helpful. All staff were respectful and charming. The hotel is set in a good location within walking distance of buses, metro and major attractions. Beds were comfortable and rooms were kept immaculately clean with fresh linen and towels daily. Breakfast offered a good choice and variety of cereals, fruit, breads, cheeses, meats and pastries/cakes, catering also for those with food intolerances. I would highly recommend Hotel Rome Life.

Convenient location and great staff”
Location: Is a great location for visiting the major tourist spots - with the Colosseum, Trevi, Spanish steps, etc just a 15-20min walk in various directions. Also the Roma Termini station is just a 10min walk. Is on a quieter street in the Monti neighborhood which means no disturbance from any street noise. Property/Room: Clean all through. Rooms are a decent size with all the usual amenities. First minibar fill was included in the rate when I stayed. A few minor quirks in the bathroom - sink is such that it always creates a mess around, the half door shower as always is not a good design (but none of these really caused any major issue). Staff: polite and very helpful be it with providing restaurant recommendations/reservations, directions, etc Breakfast: a good spread including cheeses, cold cuts, scrambled egg, breads and more. WiFi coverage was good all through the hotel. They do also offer to use the gym in their sister hotel a 2min walk away - that has one multipurpose mac

Very nice well maintained and located”
Hotel is in side street reasonably close walking wise to central attractions. Polite and efficient reception. Room a decent size though with no view which wasn’t important as we were only in room to sleep. Very good size bathroom with good water pressure in shower. Nice touch of letting us have free mini bar up to first refill. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and elegantly served. All in all a fair priced good quality hotel in central Rome. Would definitely stay there again

Great boutique hotel. ”
Good staff. Even as i emailed them before i arrived, my queries were answered promptly. During our stay, we were well attended to. From a Jr. Suite we were upgraded to a major suite which had a jacuzzi. It was very spacious for a family of 4 with older kids. Breakfast was very good thou not like 5 star buffets. But just right for our taste. My only suggestion is for them to have a shuttle for the city centre. I highly riecommend Rome Life and will definitely stay there again.

Perfect Location”
I love that this hotel was walking distance to so many of the sites and restaurants, offered excellent value for money and had a modern aesthetic. When I return to Rome again I'll definitely state at Rome Life or one of it's sister hotels.

Great rooms!!”
I stayed 4 days at Rome life Hotel, and although the hotel itself looks a little old, the junior suite looked new! Very spacious, clean, high ceilings, nice lighting, comfortable bed...it felt quite luxurious. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Boutique Style Hotel”
We were absolutely delighted with this hotel. The location was central to all major sites in Rome- so we walked everywhere! Plenty of restaurants and eateries nearby. Staff were very courteous and helpful in our questions and helped us arrange airport transport to our early morning flight (even when there was a strike going on) As far as the property itself- the rooms were very clean, well spaced, and nicely decorated. The free drinks/snacks in the minibar were a very nice touch- and felt like it went above and beyond. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! A wonderful variety of fresh and prepared hot and cold items- all delicious. We stayed on the 5th floor. It was the beginning of November, and the staff had switched off A/C to heaters for the season. It was fairly warm when we went- sleeping was a little uncomfortably warm- even with the windows open. Our room did have a sewer gas smell- we didn't raise it- but the couple in the next room we were traveling with didn't have any issue
